  1. I would be surprised if they fire Emma (or Sasha, for that matter) since they've been ballroom-trained their whole lives.

Jenna's probably freaking out that her Svengali/Fairy Godmother Mandy will no longer be the creative producer.

    Yes, she's Mormon.

I can't help but feel that Val did follow in his big brother's footsteps in settling for someone he had a relationship with that wasn't what he wanted, breaking it off, but then going back and settling when he wasn't able to find anyone else. I think as they saw members of their crew settling down and getting married (led by stylist/wedding planner to the stars, Nicole Volynets), they got desperate and took what they could get. Kind of makes me sad for both of them.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Maks and Peta are in love and are like a typical couple. I can't see Maks fooling around on her.

Val and Jenna on the other hand, feels forced and awkward. I think when DWTS inevitably ends soon and they have nothing to do, Val will feel less constrained and will leave her.

Did any of the pros go to Julianne's other than Mark and Emma & Sasha?

Esha probably would have been at Maks/Peta if their wedding weren't the same day. Maybe Mark too. I don't think Jules is close with any of the other pros she danced with on DWTS. She wasn't there that long in the grand scheme of things.

  4. We can't let Lindsey Sterling escape unscathed too, since she apparently encouraged Bobby to do the show. I guess that's her "revenge" for losing last year. I have not forgotten that she and Mark didn't handle their loss very well, refusing to congratulate Lindsay and Jordan and not doing any press interviews after the finale, though I've noticed that wan't the first time Mark did that.

Bobby Bones killed DWTS. Well, Bobby and his "fanbase."

Not just Bobby and his cult, but the show he works for, Idol. ABC ended up killing DWTS by putting Bobby on it in order to help prop up Idol. Sad but true.

I had no issue with Bobby winning. That shows the power of the viewing public. He got more votes than everyone else. The audience needs to stop whining and vote for who they want. Would those complaining about Bobby's win like for the show to be solely decided by the judges? Should they remove the viewers' vote? Do you think the audience would be as invested in the show if their voices were muted and they had no say in who wins?

Considering not many people were watching this season to begin with, I don't think reducing the power of the viewer votes will cause any backlash. In fact, people will welcome it if it means the likes of Milo and Evanna don't lose again.

I dont know about this. It was alot people I saw on sm that said how they have been fans of the show since the beginning and werent going to watch anymore and how it was a disgrace for someone like Bobby to win, so I dont think it was just newer viewers at all or ones that were mad about Tinashe and Juan Pablo, it was acutally a combination of all tbh. as to why this is the worse win ever of dwts, that backlash will def. sting Sharna and the show for awhile.

Yes, before now I think everyone regarded Kelly Monaco as the worst winner, but Bobby makes her look like Meryl Davis!

To put into perspective how totally WTF Bobby's win is, he had the 8th highest score average this season. 8th!!! Every other winner were one of the Top 2 scorers in their season, expect for Kelly M and Donald Driver who were 3rd.

  8. I don't think Evanna has the votes to surpass Milo, considering she's been in jeopardy twice while Milo has never been. Witney also has a much bigger fanbase than Keo. I think Emma also had a bigger fanbase when she won than Keo does, because she made the finals with Bill in her first season, followed by 7-8 week runs with Waltrip and Hayes. This is Keo's first finals.

I'm not sure.  She's been getting as defensive as Bobby on social media.   Mind you I get needing to support your partner to a degree, but as somebody else said, she's at the point where she's enabling him.  When DWTS watchers have tried to point out some of Bobby's behavior, she defends it as a joke or talks about how the show is about the journey and Bobby has had the biggest journey blah blah.  She might have deleted her response tweet to someone about Bobby's comments re: JP though.  The learn how to take a joke tweet.

I think the longer Bobby lasts, the more pissed Sharna gets about never winning. If he had been eliminated weeks ago like he should have she would have considered that the expected outcome, but now shes emboldened by his cult of fans.

I find it strange that Jenna doesnt seem as close to her utah BFFs Lindsay and Whitney. I think Lindsay and her are on better terms than before but u can tell whitney and her dont see to gel that much anymore.

I think Jenna was always closer to Lindsay because they lived in the same town and went to the same schools since Kindergarten. Witney lived in a different town and thus, different schools. Jenna and Lindsay are indirectly going to be family - Jenna's brother is married to the sister of Jensen's (Lindsay's sister) fiance.

I don't think Jenna has that many female friends, though. Just a hunch.

  11. Tbh I'm surprised Peta had a baby as early as she did. She was already a over a month along when the Nyle season ended. I figured she would continue on the show uninterrupted until she was around 35 or so and then get pregnant. She missed one season due to injury, then pregnancy, and now who knows when she'll be back.

Unfortunately I am still not feeling the show either, and thought this episode was cringe worthy. Bad writing and bad acting. The only character that I like is Avery, and I used to love all of the main characters. I came across the first season on DVD in a cupboard while fall cleaning, and am going to try to watch a few episodes to remind myself what an Emmy winning show it used to be. I know reboots generally are a few steps down in quality from the original, but for me the differences are huge. Already six episodes in, and I am not seeing any improvement from episode one.

Bergen seems so low-energy here, it's hard to believe she's the same age as Tyne Daly. Boston Legal wasn't that long ago - she was so much sharper there. This is basically Life With Lucy 2.0

I totally agree with u about Zendaya just came off older and that can make a lot of difference but I never felt like Zendaya was crushing on Val but Val sure was acting off sometimes and I think this is the time he started messing around with 18 year old Jenna who was 2 yrs older than Zendaya at the time, im just sayin.

It wouldn't surprise me if Val offered himself to Z after she became an adult and she turned him down. After the Janel fiasco and during one of his breaks from Jenna.

I feel like maybe it was mentioned that she was the reigning champ at the beginning and maybe it was mentioned on Jrs., but it's part the misogyny of the show and part Jenna I think.  The show does seem to have wittled her worth down to who she is marrying, by making almost everything she does on the show about Val and introducing her as Val's fiancee and etc.  Some of that is not on her.  On the other hand, she 100% plays into it at every turn.  Need a package about Joe?  Let's go on a double date and I'll pretend to be scared and bury my face in Val's chest!  Need a soundbite? Let me talk about how this is the best year of my life because Val, Val, Val (though I'd like to think many would make their best year about their significant other VAL) and then I'll sit on his lap while you play it back for the live audience.  Plus her whole insta feed, at least the stories are an ode to her "hot" man.

If Val ever left her for good she would probably try to hurt herself. I'm not kidding. She would have to be placed on suicide watch.

With Jenna, I always sort of wonder if Derek had been more receptive before the fam adopted her, if she would have gone that direction instead.  I know she tried out for the first Derek and Julianne tour and didn't get selected for whatever reason (whereas Brittany Cherry did and at some point Hayley), but if she had gotten that job would she have become part of the Hough clan instead?

I can't really picture Jenna with Derek. He and Jules aren't Mormons anymore so i don't think he would have been inclined to go back down that road. Not only is Hayley not from Utah, but she is drop-dead gorgeous.

  16. Well, Val wants kids and probably sees Jenna as a good mom. She's also the "marrying kind" - the kind you bring to meet your parents, not a side piece/fling. She worships him and i doubt Val will find another woman willing to put up with him.
