  1. Oh man, this takes me back. I loved BBMak. I went and saw them for one of my very first concerts (I think it was a Christmas special). And now I am listening to the Sooner or Later album for the first time in years...
  2. I love Andrew McMahon! I am also a fan of Lindsey Stirling and her collaborations with other artists.
  3. I was really looking forward to this show after seeing the preview with the verse battle and I really want to like it, but I just can't get into it. I watched and enjoyed Reign, so it's not the anachronisms or glam rock vibe that I dislike. I just don't know what kind of show this is trying to be. Is it a light hearted view of Shakespeare's early days as a playwright? Is it a show about the supernatural? Is it an in depth look into the religious conflict going on in England during Elizabeth's reign? All of these are interesting ideas and maybe they could be effectively blended together, but this show isn't pulling that off convincingly right now. I am especially having trouble following the Marlowe part of the story because, to me, it feels very disengaged from everything else that is happening. The tonal shifts are already a bit abrupt when we switch from behind the scenes actor/writer antics to graphic torture, so keeping up with a character whose storyline is so separate from all the rest makes my head hurt a bit. I just finished the episode where Shakespeare's family comes to London and I'm hoping that the next few will bring Marlowe back into the main storyline because he is the character, both historically and in the show, that I am most interested in. Can anyone who has watched the whole season let me know if my hope will be in vain?
  4. I love this movie! I watched it at least twice a week even though middle school and had all the songs memorized.
  5. Spanglish "Some things belong on paper, others in life. It’s a blessed fool who can’t tell the difference."
  6. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone "I aim to misbehave."
  7. I went to the midnight premiere of the final movie with my friend who loved Twilight and this was my favorite part of the whole series. Watching the entire theater react to that battle was even more entertaining than the movie itself (I guess spoilers weren't as big of a thing when his movie was released?)! My poor friend was practically hyperventilating by the time one of the wolves fell into the giant pit of doom and then there was a collective sigh of relief when it turned out to be a vision. It seemed like almost everyone enjoyed the twist, especially since it gave everyone a taste of what Alice was capable of as mentioned by @doram.
  8. My extensive research (just kidding, I went to Wikipedia) says that the term greenhouse effect was first used in 1901.
  9. Empire Records "Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!"
  10. Zack, Logan Kirk, Babette Pennilynn Lott
  11. Zack, Doyle Kirk, Miss Patty Asher Flemming
  12. I haven't watched an episode since the mid season break, but I have been saving them all to watch later on. Maybe it's because I got to skip all the random stuff that I read about on the boards, but I thought this was a beautiful ending to this story. I haven't loved every minute of this show, but the good always outweighed the bad for me. I am so glad that the afterlife was about reuniting with family instead of romantic interests. I am even more glad that the entire Bennett line got to kick some ass at the end- again, family is stronger than anything else. To me, that is what this show has always been about at its core. I won't exactly miss it because I haven't made the effort to watch every week, but I am satisfied with the way it all came together at the end. And I may or may not have cried through the last ten minutes or so...
  13. Is that Michel reaching for the pancakes of dubious blueberry quantity? I never remember which episode it is in, but that exchange between him and Sookie makes me laugh every time!
  14. 30 to win (but 11 was my second choice, I love the funny moments the most!)
