Wishful thinking from the Bubba haters. That team only exists because of the sponsorship dollars he brings in. He's not going anywhere for a long time.
  2. I enjoyed this. It was a pretty breezy watch. If it comes back, I'll watch it.

    The NBA

Agreed. So why did Atkinson bother interviewing (twice), accepting the job, setting up contract parameters, and then bailing nine days later? Less than a week before the draft, and less than two weeks before NBA free agency. Dick move.

F**k Kenny Atkinson. That is all.
  5. You might wanna re-watch this episode.
  6. Yeah, I was glad to see they had a strong opening weekend. I think our empty theater had more to do with location - not a lot of PBS watchers in our neck of the woods, I reckon.
  7. Including my wife and myself, there were 4 people in the theater we attended. 🤣 I enjoyed it. It was funny, it was sad, it was Downton Abbey.
  8. If we have to do the cancer thing again, why couldn't it have been Theo?
  9. That got me, too. And I thought, "Damn, if I couldn't get through Beth's goodbye, how am I going to make it through the rest?" But that turned out to be the only scene I got misty over. Weird.
  10. I would guess we're looking at 10-13 episodes.
  11. To each their own, but I'd say that that Seasons 8 & 9 were significantly worse than S7. Good finale, though.
  12. Having Maddie & Chimney back made me realize how much I didn't miss them while they were gone. They can stay in Boston for all I care.
  13. To each their own. Seinfeld is a pretty extreme example. I want the cast to be likeable too, but in a large ensemble like "Ghosts", it's okay if there's a Dwight Schrute or Herb Tarlek in the bunch. For me, anyway.
  14. It was a funny episode, but for some reason I was put off by the "Trevor was actually a nice guy" plot. For me, it's okay if Trevor was a d-bag in life. It makes no difference to who he is now. Everyone doesn't have to be likeable for it to be a good sitcom.
  15. Pretty ballsy, considering how dismal the ratings are:
  16. That was a $3,000 guitar that Kevin gave to Cassidy's son. 😲
  17. It just occurred to me that, as the 13th episode, this could've been the series finale (if the ratings had been poor). Kinda works as a finale. Glad we're getting more.
  18. Good riddance. We finally get rid of Brees & Payton, and the Panthers are a gd dumpster fire.
  19. I agree with this. Superstore & The Office were workplace comedies, but they weren't solely about work. That seems to be all AA is about. So far, anyway. For me, the main three characters (Katherine, Sadie, Jack [yes, I googled that]) are the least developed, and most bland.
  20. I hear some ACC hoops fans saying this during the NCAA tournament, and it always makes me shake my head. "If my team can't win the title, I hope one of my hated in-conference rivals does, so they can lord it over us for the next 365 days! Go ACC!"
  21. So Brian Flores is fired, but Matt Rhule still has a job.
