I'd guess that the Panthers are putting this out there to bait the Texans into trading up to draft Bryce Young. I doubt it works.

That's the definition of the Texans. If you're a QB, you'd probably rather play for Frank Reich & Jim Caldwell than a great defensive coordinator.

Apparently the Panthers kicked the tires on Carr (no pun intended). Glad it didn't go any further than that. Need to find someone in the draft. That being said, this basically puts the Saints as the division favorite, since nobody else seems to have a QB.

Nothing really resolved, Spencer nowhere near Montana.

I hate every team in my division. I want them all to immediately flame out in the playoffs. Feel bad for Ossai, but the Bengals had the ball with 2 minutes left, and a chance for a game winning drive. Just didn't get it done.

Reich has a winning record as HC, and took the Colts to the playoffs twice. So yeah, he's considered better than Wilks. By pretty much everyone.

I like Wilks, but the owner was pretty clear about wanting a coach from the offensive side of the ball. All you have to do is look at who interviewed. It's a bad look, but it's not surprising.

This has been my experience since the middle of season 1.

Who are they going to trade for? A boatload of draft picks from a team desperate for a QB. Like Indy or Carolina.

Carolina has a good offensive line, probably the best they've had in years. PJ Walker seemed pretty relaxed, standing in the pocket and slinging it. I was hoping Baker could get things on track here, but it's pretty clear that his confidence is pretty much gone. Oh, and thanks for nothing, Saints.

I don't know anyone who believes that. At least we should finally be in position to draft a decent QB, instead of diving through other teams' dumpsters.

This was inevitable. I'm sure he'll go back to being a very successful college coach. But he's not an NFL guy. Time for a total rebuild in Carolina.
