  1. I would love to know your cat's IG so I can follow him! 😄
  2. I was so surprised, too! I expected him to act like a little snob, and he was quite supportive & helpful. I'm really very happy about this! And I don't recall him using the word 'fierce' once, which was also a relief. 😄
  3. Solid silk fabric begs to be drape so it can be flowy & flattering & elegant. It made me so sad not one person in that workroom understands draping. I kept thinking what a beautiful gown Michael Costello would have made. But of course, he has a real brand now. This was the saddest runway I have ever seen. They should have eliminated every designer and reworked the final few episodes as interviews with Iris Apfel.
  4. WOW. Just wow. What a good video. Thank you for posting.
  5. I really hope this rumor is true because I am convinced McCauley was molested and has not been able to face it. I hope this helps him come to terms with it and step forward. And I'm with you- my brain has been taken over with this. I can't stop thinking about it.
  6. I had always heard that predators groom their victims, but I had never heard the word seduction used to describe it. And that concept brings a powerful meaning to how it happens & how it stays hidden. In this case, seduction- the boys, & their mothers. Each mom idolized MJ on a level that was completely unnatural. They willfully disregarded huge red flags because it would mean they'd have to give up the glamour of being part of MJ's inner circle. They gushed about MJ & all the perks with such a sickening enthusiasm- even though they know what he did to their sons. They each seemed so wistful in their interviews as they recounted their wonderful memories, proving to me that deep down inside, they still felt the same fondness toward MJ today. And James' mom - I don't believe for a moment she was thrilled to learn MJ died. She was trying to sell that hard- too hard. And Wade's mom - I'm not surprised it's too upsetting for her to learn the details of his molestation. After all, it's all about her.
  7. Gawd, what a disappointing challenge. I hated all of the outfits, but agree with those who said Irina's outfit fit the challenge the best. I just can't with Michelle; her outfit was butt ugly. And IDK what Dimitry is going through but I really hate this granny dress phase. His past clothing made me think he loved a woman's body, but now he just wants to keep covering it up. I really liked Christina, and I'm sad to see her go.
  8. I was implying she is a poor judge of character, and I would be worried if my kids were in her care, what other predatory individuals might she have around the children... I know nothing about two women watching the kids, so I can’t comment on that. I would have thought one of his long term friends would have bailed him out, but no- it’s a woman who I’m guessing is under his spell, and she just hasn’t experienced the Robert side to him yet. Interesting info on the double jeopardy argument, but I believe this current case concerns 3 (or is it 4?) girls and the past case concerned 1 girl... no? I think we have been assuming the new tape of a 14-yr old may be the same girl as in the first trial, but maybe it’s a different girl. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  9. I just heard the woman who posted bail runs a childcare center. Doesn’t that absolutely horrify you? It does me. It’s filled with innocent kids who are under the supervision of someone who can’t recognize a predator. I’m sick to my stomach.
  10. I thought Biddell's look was the hippest on the runway, and I liked it for that reason. I don't see many women actually wearing it IRL, but I did find it a cool disco club look. Irina's look was nice but I'm not a fan of her aesthetic- too much hoochie T&A for me. I wanted to scream when Michelle got into the top 3 yet again with another simple shift dress. I personally like shift dresses & she sometimes adds details that can be interesting, but there is no innovation there. She should not be rewarded anymore for giving the judges the same silhouette week after week- I'm really surprised they have said nothing to her about this. I echo the sentiments on "in what office would a woman wear that??" Those crazy judges.
  11. I'm pretty tired of Tom's sarcasm. I'm on the west coast & have never been to Maine, but I rolled my eyes when Tom criticized a seafood inspiration for Maine. Even if not directly a seaside town, I thought, "yeah but it can't be that far from the coast... it's Maine, right?" Color me simple, I guess. The cheftestants are pretty darn creative in the time they are allotted, and I wish Tom would cut them some slack. I used to love Tom's warm personality, but now I see a disgruntled guy who enjoys slinging insults just for the sake of it. I miss the old Tom.
  12. This episode was too creepy and depressing for me. I cancelled my future recordings. I’m out.
  13. I am glad they are tearing down the illusion that Jack was so perfect in every way. It's bugged me since the show began. This new side of him will make his character more true to life and more interesting for us viewers. Personally though, I think Rebecca would resist negative info on Jack and even become hostile to anyone who doesn't hold up the saint image. It's been my experience that surviving spouses (& parents, and sometimes adult kids) cling to their to their idealistic 'memories' of the one they lost, at all costs.
  14. I rarely read the comments that are about a poster's personal life, but the story of your grandfather pulled me in. I believe you offer the most accurate explanation of why Jack behaved the way he did. Thank you for sharing.
  15. The primary is an absolutely vile woman. It’s too bad she can’t accidental sleepwalk over the side of the boat.
  16. I was shocked no one made a colorblock dress. That was the obvious way to design for two contrasting colors, imo, and can be done with a totally cool, mod 1960's vibe. Or really can be translated into any decade, depending how it's done. Colorblock is just a great way to incorporate a pop of contrasting color. And although I didn't care for the Australian designer's red/navy dress, I really wish she spoke up and explained graduation is NOT a summer event down under. I cannot get over the fact Irina wasn't eliminated for that monstrosity. Nina would have declared it an issue of taste level. I seem to recall when Irina won her season, her collection had a ton of t-shirts with graphic designs. She really should have never been called back to All Stars. This ice blue number is proof she really doesn't deserve to be here.
  17. Yeah, I can imagine that because he keeps to himself for the most part, he could be misinterpreted as a bit snobby. It was nice to get a deeper look at him & how he views himself. I will always love the way Kate described him as a pedigree dog, elegant & graceful, with a steady stride, etc. I forget her exact words but it was both hilarious and spot on. He is classy!
  18. I was surprised how insecure Josiah was because I find him to be Totally Gorgeous - like old-Hollywood movie-star leading man Gorgeous! ... but his humble nature endeared him to me even more. Honestly, he looked good in that skimpy outfit but he was so uncomfortable, I wanted to reach into my TV and protect him from those horrible guests.
  19. I've watched the 6 episodes twice now, and I can't shake the sick, haunted feeling knowing this creep is still out there keeping young women as his sex slaves and actively hunting for new girls. I really feel for the families. Their daughters are adults and the families are powerless to do anything. I'm also simply amazed at how so many girls (and families) honestly believe he will help boost their singing careers. They are willing to overlook so many red flags for the promise of fame & fortune. And then in the aftermath, it makes me sick knowing how his victims have settled out of court for unspecified amount of money. The money will never make it better, but I guess they felt he had all the power and they were lucky to at least be able to live more comfortably. Most of all, I'm haunted by whether the 14 year old in the sex/pee tape is still with him. Is she The Trainer? Or is it another woman who he brainwashed at 14? And while we know of Azriel & Jocelyn, how many other girls & young women are there who simply weren't named in the documentary because they sadly have no family looking for them? R Kelly is pure evil. Thank goodness the makers of this documentary were brave enough to produce it and get it aired.
  20. I think he is visualizing the words in English as best he can while he is speaking. I don't know if he was formally taught English, but to me it looks like he is trying to picture how the words should be laid out in a sentence. Alternate theory- he learned it from Kolani, since she rarely makes eye contact while she's speaking.
  21. Color me naive but I had a soft spot for Jay. At the very least I thought he cared about Ashley and would stick it out for a while. He is one cold & calculating little bastard. He played her until his situation was locked in, and then he wasted no time in destroying every ounce of faith she had in him. I hope she pursues an annulment on the basis of Fraud since he clearly had no intentions of keeping his marriage vows and it's easily proven. That's probably an expensive thing to pursue, but it's gotta be cheaper than being responsible for him for the next 10 years. I really feel for her. She will never trust another man again.
  22. I am of Sicilian ancestry and I also thought she might be in mourning. However, normally when someone is in mourning they would not take an extravagant vacation ...so I got nuthin’.
  23. Oh my god, we were married to the same man, with the same horrible mother-in-law.
