  1. Both Barba and Carisi have given new life to the show. I know I wouldn't have endured the Benson Suffers And Everything Hurts saga if not for Esparza being awesome. I can't wait to see his political ambitions get some screentime (TPTB said they would! And something about more of his personal life, too). I like that he brings the matter of class to a lot of plots (and race, but not being American does not help to understand it that well) and that you can see just from lookibg at him how aggressively assertive this guy is. And then the super relatable stuff like the cab fare and the fact that he wants to get the hell out of that place because it's awful and dangerous. Carisi, otoh, is the one who is not burdened by having a terrible life/past/werewolf curse. It is nice to see someone who still has faith in humanity and spring to their step. I want to know what he will do once he graduates, tbh.
  2. I loved it. I stop the video and went back and yeah, he was sliding. Have you seen this: http://iheartcarisi.tumblr.com/post/138702384649/can-we-talk-about-that-little-slide-thing-peter
  3. I kinda want to kbow the backstory of Jose and his blankies.
  4. I rather liked this episode, even if there were no Court scenes. I've liked Yates and Rudnick stories (I always like truly creepy yet charismatic perps - I hated the bore that was Lewis, though- and I think they could be right there with the ones from "Slaves", "Pure" and "Resiliece") so I'm fine with seeing them again. I don't want to have to watch Chicago PD though, I'm just not interested in it. I liked Rollins complaining about the cuddling. Carisi continues to be perfect in everything he does. Really, how is he so perfect? And yay! Barba was in the episode! And he did more than standing there and drinking coffee! So, he doesn't drive? And Olivia could not take him to the prison for some reason? And he was all jumpy in that prison? But we haven't seen him before in jail and he wasn't acting like that. So, what gives? PS: after reading the recap, I have a question: why does Olivia make fun of Barba for taling a cab? Is this something cultural? Help a non-US gal out!
  5. Thank you for the explanation! That makes a lot of sense. Go Carisi! Re: the arm candy comment, I thought that she meant that Carisi was arm candy to Barba and then I thought that he has that kind of arm cansy before? IDK. Hate-flirting is yitally accurate. In the scene where they are making the deal, she asks if Carisso has to be there and Barba replies something like 'To chaperone? Yes'. I really like this episode ☺
  6. They did! I was surprised by her 'arm candy' comment, though. I didn't get the little boys parts, either.
  7. I think it made sense. Do you know how some ex-smokers are the most annoying anti-smoking activists? I guess Rollins is one of those. I like hime running, too. All tall and fast and hot.
  8. The thing is that a) she has a messiah complex and b) she doesn't have anywhere to go. Munch is an investigator for the DA office, Cragen found love again and Stabler has his family. Olivia has Noah but her whole life is shaped by being in SVU. Now, that I want to see explored.
  9. I liked it. I was expecting the neighbour to be the perp somehow and more of a deal to be made of the youngest of the attackers, but it was a well done episode. Barba was fun and effective (and I want hm interacting with Henderson all the time), Carisi was amazing and I'm glad to see Rollins back. Her maternity-inspired righteousness will get annoying soon, though. The last scene was interestig and I want to see how the handle it. Some development for Olivia based on her own demons instead of random dudes assaulting her can be interestig. And I'd like her mother's own addiction to come back if they do this arc.
  10. I could swear they've done this story before. Maybe it was the mothership? PS: Found it! In the mothership, S01E06, based on this crime except the victim survived.
  11. I would felt sorry for her if she hadn't also stolen a baby and killed his mother. She was a pure sociopath. Definetely the boy in 'Confessions'. It sparked quite a debate at home back in the day. He truly wanted to control his urges, and it is pretty clear that he knows they are wrong and would get rid of them, if he had any choice. But he didn't and ended up dead becauase the system has not place for paedophiles who do not act on their urges.
  12. Three sisters that we know of. And I get tbe impression that he is the only boy, and the youngest one at that. Carisi seems like the kind of guy whi was raised in a most female enviroment. I don"t know why.I agree that Chris being on tbe registry is an over-reach. We have seen cases in which a person is in it, witjout actually being a rapist or abuser and it's kinda of messed up. I remember tbe special needs guy who got in it for urinating in public and at least two guys who had sex with their girlfriends who were underage while they were teenagers too. I think in both cases the girls' dads were cops.
  13. They did: "If he goes on the list, he can't have a smartphone. He can't even access the internet". This was a good episode. Well acted, thought provoking, good dose of Order, Barba... all in all all I'm a happy girl. I loved Rita's "oh, a baby" comment - it's nice to see women who are not interested in chldren. I also liked that Olivia's therapist told her that she can, you know, step down. She won't, but still. I don't think Carisi was being a jerk. He always points out facts even if they are not the most tactful ones. A lot of women are gutted by having to go back to work (and others can't wait to get out of the house) and if NYPD offers only 6 weeks of maternity leave, well's that's not his fault. (Btw, isn't that too short?). Barba's cross of Chris was hot. Like, really, really hot. We desperately need a show that is only about Barba scorching through trials.
  14. Unpopular here, it seems, but I love Jack. I love his blazing fury and his anti-authority streak. It took me a long while to find DAs I liked that much and I only got them in SVU: Novak and Barba.
