This show would have been amazing if it had some kind of overarching goal or story. Discover scientists that can create a cure and help them. Find the last remnants of the government. Find a large habited city that's still functional. Find out what's happening in other parts of the country, other parts of the world. There's so many potential paths and bigger horizons that have been left unexplored. I guess the source material just doesn't have this, it's going to be same stuff over and over again.
  2. They're burning through the story rapidly this season. It's rushed. It's disappointing that RR Martin didn't finish at least 1 of the 2 books. We could have had a richer, more fleshed out story.
  3. I'm surprised they went the romance route with Michionne and Rick. They never had any chemistry. Although it could just end up being a casual fuck with nothing more.
  4. Yep sounds like he was saying it in a joking matter, not in a creepy way. I love Ser Friendzone, I hope the grayscale doesn't kill him.
  5. They went there. They really went there. Stannis always said that the lives of the many were more important than one life. If nothing else he's really consistent, in a fucked up kind of way. Remember this scene? "You will betray the men serving you. You will betray your family. You will betray everything you once held dear." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sx8Yu_n23c It's become true. I don't know why people want the Boltons to win now. Yes let's root for the house that killed Catelyn, Robb and Robb's wife and unborn child. The house that mutilated Theon, raped Sansa and are just overall psychopaths that skin people alive for fun. Come on, Stannis isn't nearly as bad as that. Best case scenario, they cancel each other out and the knights of the Vale swoop in to take the spoils. Littlefinger winning isn't good but I've always had a soft spot for the evil studmuffin anyway.
  6. This is the interview in question for those that are curous: http://www.harpersbazaar.com/culture/features/a10832/emilia-clarke-0615/ "The crew was a few cliffs over," she continues, "so it's me, four or five extras, and Iain Glen [the loyal-to-a-fault Ser Jorah]. Iain does this thing where he lifts his head up and his face goes, 'Aahh, naked lady.' But because they were filming so far away, what he said was 'Great tits, love.' " She lets out a huge guffaw. "I'm like, 'The camera's not on you, can you stop commenting on how good you think these breasts are?' "
  7. I couldn't get into either The Flash or Arrow actually. You shouldn't make assumptions about people you don't know. There's a difference between a show that's upbeat and light-hearted and a show that's corny and poorly scripted. If this show turns out to be the corny and poorly made fare, which in my opinion it will, it will end up being cancelled. Nothing about that is a victory, quite the opposite, it will make potential producers more reluctant than ever to create TV shows or films based on female superheroes. Naturally I could be wrong and the show becomes a huge success, only time will tell.
  8. This is the first season I feel is weaker than previous ones. The Dorne storyline is terrible, I don't know where to start. Jaime is one of my favourite characters and they're just wasting him over there. I don't know what they're doing with Sansa. I'm tired of watching Dany fail at managing Mereem. The other storylines aren't bad but I'm not that excited about them either.
  9. The point I was demonstrating is that a even a show who at first glance is not aimed at women (such as TWD or GoT) in actuality can attract a lot of female viewers. There was no need to go in a cliche rom-com direction and alienating a big chuck of the audience. I can see it being popular with young girls, at best. That's what we're here for, to speculate and discuss. If you think discussing a show that hasn't aired yet is pointless, you have no reason to be here.
  10. Haha nothing wrong with getting busy. I wish I got busy, that way I wouldn't have to witness a rape scene last thing before bed.
  11. It's curious that people here seem to like this iteration. The trailer looks to be made by people who have no idea what women want. It's almost insulting that they think women have so little taste they will go for this. The walking dead is very popular amongst women, even games of thrones' viewers are 40-45% female. And those are two universes that can be very unpleasant. I think the lesson is that women like good television, they don't need to be coddled. It's absurd to applaud this one-dimensional, childish 24 year old character because "at least" she isn't an oversexualized, scantily dressed woman created for the purpose of titillating men. That's a false dilemma. There was a third option: making her into a strong, well-rounded, complex character. There's a slim possibility that's what she will be in the actual show but the trailer is not giving that indication.
  12. His prostate should still be there, hard to say if stimulating it would work.
  13. I totally ship Brienne and Jaime. I'd like to imagine that Jaime looking at Tarth was a hint of things to come. Littlefinger and Sansa's relationship is strange and interesting. It's not parental love, it's not romantic love, he kisses her yet he leaves her behind in a very dangerous situation. I wonder where this is going.
  14. I'd like to think Littlefinger has a plan to deal with Bolton, he wouldn't have forgotten the part the man played in Cat's death. He seems to be making use of Sansa but I don't think he's giving her away, I hope Ramsay is dead before long.
  15. All this intelligent discussion, and here I am wondering if you can see anything upskirt the statue in Braavos.
