  1. I just checked fox.com. They say to add 15 minutes to your dvr to ensure you see the whole show. So the schedule has it listed from 8:00 to 10:15.
  2. I see that I'm not alone in my opinion that this was a crappy movie. I think it was sunk right from the beginning because that actress was not the right choice to play Brittany Murphy. If they can't get the casting of the star of the movie right, they have no business making the movie. When it was over, I asked myself why I wasted that time on it.
  3. This was defintiely better than last week's show, due to the fact that the owners and employees weren't crying the whole time, plus the redecorated rooms looked nice and fit with the hotel.
  4. Since Helen's camera challenge was the worst of the group, and she would never have won a star for that, I wondered if they gave her a star for cooking even though her dish might not have been the best. It seems like they wanted every kid to have at least one star at this point. Don't they supply the kids with oven mitts or pot holders? Lauren lost her grip on the cooking sheet by trying to grab it with towels. I think she would have been able to hold the pan better with oven mitts. I hope the oven door didn't have any cleaning residue on it, since the meatballs may have picked up some of that when they dropped on it.
  5. Stupid can be entertaining at times, which is why I'm still watching this, along with Under the Dome. When Allison started making out with Kyle, all I could think of was that he would have terrible morning breath, as he evidently drank all night and hadn't brushed his teeth. I guess that says something about the show when I'm focusing on that. I rarely give up on shows, so I'll see this one through to the ridiculous end.
  6. I also thought the new decor was awful, for both the check in room and the hotel rooms. They did not convey at all what I imagine when I think of a country inn. I thought that part of the makeover was an epic fail.
  7. It bugged me that Helen didn't clip her hair back when she was cooking, the longer blue hair on one side. I think that all the other girls had pony tails or braids, or somehow kept their hair back. But Helen's was hanging down. It was in her face, possibly obscuring her vision, and hanging over the food. I get that she's trying to be cool/edgy with the blue hair, but she could probably see better and it would certainly be more hygienic if her hair wasn't dangling down like that. So far, I don't find any of the kids annoying, but that likely will change.
  8. As a big Sean Bean fan, I've been looking forward to this show ever since I heard about it months ago. Maybe my perception is clouded a bit since Sean Bean is the reason I wanted to see this, but I did enjoy it, and I thought he was very good in it. Sure, it's not perfect, but it engaged me. I never saw 24 or Homeland, and I don't think it's really fair to compare shows. That puts the show at a disadvantage right away, when people have expectations based on similar shows. I'll be back next week.
  9. The only thing I enjoyed about this finale was seeing good looking Christopher again.
  10. I haven't seen any ads for that show, but I just went to Judge Judy's Facebook page and there is a mention of it. It says "Premiering September 15th, and created by Judge Judy!"
  11. When this season started, I assumed that there would be a person in the final three that I would want to vote for. I assumed wrongly.
  12. Derrick pissed me off too. I don't believe for a second that he let Frankie win out of the goodness of his heart. That was a calculated move, and had nothing to do with him actually caring about Frankie.
  13. As usual, I'm behind in my dvr viewings, so I just saw this episode. I wondered about the lethal drug that Peter injected into the victim's IV. Wouldn't that affect the organs in the body that they were using for transplant?
  14. Just watched this today and I'm not sure yet if I want to continue with it. Maybe I wasn't in the mood for the doom and gloom. It's always upsetting to me to see animals harmed. I didn't want to hear that poor deer struggling under the car that hit it, or see the deer pursued and ripped apart by the dogs. All those cult members smoking and not talking was very irritating to me too. I guess I'll try one more episode before giving up on it.
  15. I didn't recognize any of the actors other than Shawn Hatosy, but I've always enjoyed his work. I thought it was entertaining enough to get me to tune in again.
  16. Those long curved nails were terribly gross, and they distracted me from focusing on the dresses. Someone should take a pass at them with the hedgeclippers.
  17. I totally agree with what Ketzel said, regarding both brides. When the renewal bride put on that dress, I was waiting to hear her say that she realized it wasn't the dress for her. I couldn't believe that she loved it and thought it looked great on her.
  18. I just finished watching this second episode. I know that the show is cliched, and I have seen some of these storylines before on Grey's Anatomy or other medical shows, but it's entertaining - a summer show to keep me occupied. And it's fun to read the snark it generates here.
  19. I didn't watch Fringe during its run on tv, but decided to rent the dvds from Netflix last year. I think that there were 3 episodes on that first disc. I was disappointed in them, and wondered if I wanted to continue with the series. But I stuck with it and I was so glad that I did. It really picked up and got better after the first few episodes. By the time I was almost through with the series, I delayed in renting the last couple of discs because I didn't want to see it end. I was sad as I watched that last episode, knowing that there would be no more.
  20. Maybe I'm just getting tired of all the battle scenes and fighting, but I was bored with parts of this episode. I was anxious to find out Tyrion's fate, and it was disappointing that there were no scenes involving him.
  21. I was glad that Justin Warner was the first to leave. He is so full of himself, and I really don't want to watch him.
  22. I was saddened to hear about Matthew Cowles. The unique character of Billy Clyde Tuggle was always entertaining, and he was one of the few things I enjoyed about the online reboot last year.
  23. I knew that Zoe and Joel wouldn't be endgame, but their breakup was still sad and I felt sorry for Zoe. It was good to see so many people from the town come to Zoe's house to let her know that they care and try to cheer her up. Now I'm not sure who she will end up with since Wade and Vivian seem to be in a good relationship and now George and Lemon look like they're getting back together. Maybe George and Lemon will come to realize that they shouldn't be together after all, and he'll get back with Zoe. I haven't read yet if Hart of Dixie has been renewed for next year. I know that it's in danger of cancellation. It's just a bit of fluff, and I won't miss it greatly if it's gone, but I like having a few lighthearted breaks since most of the shows I watch are dramas, and many of them are heavy on the violence.
  24. It was very refreshing to not see the McKinley High newbies, plus Becky, whose character had become insufferable. I'm so glad that they are out of the show now that it's set entirely in New York. I'll never be a fan of Blaine, so I wish he hadn't been featured so much last night, but I did enjoy all the rest of the characters and the retro music. I thought that Lea's rendition of People was lovely.
