  1. I'm going to miss Hart of Dixie. It's a throwback show that reminds me of some of the programs I watched many years ago. It's a stark contrast and a respite from all of the crime dramas that I watch. I don't really understand the point of George leaving to become a musician's manager. He's leaving behind an established law practice and a budding relationship with AB, plus his many friends in Bluebell. His parting message to Bluebell and his friends was sweet, but I don't know why they had to go there.
  2. I'm trying to give this show a chance, since I was anxious to watch it after seeing the promos, but it's hard to like with so many unlikeable characters.
  3. I can't believe the judges used (wasted) the save on Qaasim. I'm glad that I recorded this show so that I could fast forward through most of the performances after listening to a few bars of each song. Clark and NIck had the only performances that I felt inclined to listen to in their entirety.
  4. So next week, I assume that either a competitor from Bobby's team or from Curtis' team will be eliminated.
  5. Why does Amelia keep getting shoved down our throats? Especially since it's at the expense of so little time for the rest of the cast, most of whom I do want to see.
  6. I was surprised that Riley didn't make the top 8. I thought that the tweens and teens would be voting for him.
  7. This is what the writers come up with when there are only a few episodes left? What was the point of any of that?
  8. I didn't feel inspired to vote for any of the girls.
  9. Way too much Amelia. Way too little of Alex and Meredith.
  10. LaSalle is my favorite character too. I loved it when he pulled up his shirt and revealed his chest, to get some beads.
  11. At least we were spared the presence of Sue and Becky.
  12. Could this show be any more stupid? There wasn't a single storyline in this episode that was funny, entertaining or believable.
  13. I was sorry to see Alvin killed off, because he added nicely to the show. I can think of one reason why the producers would have him die. A big part of this show is the financial struggles that Christy and her family have. With Alvin now a part of their lives, and being able to buy them things or give them money, that takes away a big chunk of the plot line. This certainly isn't the first comedy to kill off a character. A few other shows come to mind right away - M*A*S*H, All in the Family, Roseanne. I also noticed the curly haired "geek" from Two and a Half Men. Maybe his stint on that show is done, since he hasn't been on lately.
  14. The girl singing House of the Rising Sun was awful. It sounded like a cat who had its tail repeatedly stepped on. I couldn't believe that she got a golden ticket.
  15. Thanks for telling me about the ending, betsyboo. I think you are right about the phrasing Zoe used when she told Wade about the baby. This is a feelgood show, and I really like all the friendships and character interactions.
  16. I was glad to see a new episode too. My dvr cut off right after Zoe told Wade that she was having his baby. Did he respond ?
  17. Although I prefer this show to focus mainly on the regular characters, I enjoyed last night's episode. Shows can get bogged down by the same old themes and storylines, so I found it refreshing right from the start when I heard William Forsythe's voice over, which gave the show a different feel.
  18. It was good watching this again. Sort of like seeing old friends. I know that the show can be corny and lame at times, but it's a refreshing change of pace from most of the shows that I watch, which are dramas that can be heavy on the violence and angst. That deep/bright red lipstick did not look good on Rachel Bilson. Maybe it was due to the lighting as the previous poster mentioned.
  19. I enjoy this show a lot, except for the presence of Paige. I don't care if she is supposed to be in the group to provide a "normal" person's perspective, she just isn't needed. She continues to put herself into harm's way. She ought to see by now that this group gets involved in dangerous situations. I can't believe she doesn't worry about leaving her son motherless. She was so nonchalant after they figured out they were in a minefileld. She made jokes about dying on the flowers instead of the bare dirt. I think anyone else in her position would have been freaking out and thinking only of her son. Her character doesn't work at all for me.
  20. Watching sweat drip off the firefighter's nose would have made me lose any desire to taste his food, if I was a judge.
  21. Yes, it was very predictable. I was sure that they wouldn't be coming home from the hospital with a baby.
  22. I'm more than a week late in watching this. I thought the hospital looked fake right from the start. It looked like some kind of ward, especially with that other unknown patient. If this had been a real hospital, the agents surely would have been in their own private rooms, or possibly still in cubicles or rooms in the ER. Regarding Lizzie's butt, I didn't think she looked flabby at all. She looked toned to me.
  23. I did have a few small laughs from this episode, but the whole premise of Walden marrying Alan just to get a kid is incredibly stupid and unbelievable. In the first place, Walden is very wealthy. It seems like he wouldn't have too much trouble finding a child to adopt. And does he think that it's a good thing to bring a child into a home where the whole set up is a lie? Walden and Alan may be married on paper, but they certainly don't have a relationship and they aren't a family. It's just dumb, dumb, dumb.
