  1. After only a few minutes, I started forwarding through some of the scenes, hoping to find some interesting content. I don't think that I ever found any.
  2. I have never been a fan of Maggie, but this episode was well written, acted and directed.
  3. It looked like Richard Blais tasted his sauce, then put the spoon back in the pot.
  4. Do the contestants not get any instructions on how the equipment in the truck works? It seems like every year there is a problem with the pilot light or some other equipment and the people have no idea how to get things working. Some contestants are already familiar with food trucks, but for others, it's the first time using one. Tyler looked like he finally understands how to get a closer shave.
  5. The focus on this makeover was just for the wedding or event room. In order for this place to be a success, they need to pay attention to the every day aspects too. The kitchen seemed like it needed a new layout, since the food warming area was off the beaten path and awkwardly placed; the cooks aren't very knowledgeable about basic menu items, the staff doesn't know how to correctly write up the tickets. Maybe those problems were taken care of off camera, along with the need to thoroughly clean the lobby and the tower, but they should have mentioned that these problems had been resolved too. Since we only got a glimpse of the room belonging to the couple, I wondered if the rooms themselves were in need of cleaning or updating. I don't see how this place can be a money maker if they only concentrate on the events package without also making needed improvements in the restaurant and hotel.
  6. I enjoyed this show. Although I did not like the excessive violence. I liked it because of the friendship between Hap and Leonard, and I thought the story line was interesting. I also liked it since it was set in a different time, and I didn't have to watch people with all their high tech gadgets.
  7. After last night's episode, I now wish that the show had ended after the first season. I loved the two character's friendship and the fact that they were together, instead of Abbie being off in other dimensions, or away from Ichabod. The show was great that first season, but it really lost its way.
  8. I'm often flipping channels and watching something else when I watch this show, so I rarely see all of it. I didn't see the part where Terra and Christy were throwing glasses at each other. I did just find this link from Reality Tea (a site I've never heard of) that mentions the glass throwing incident, which apparently sent Christy to the hospital. http://www.realitytea.com/2016/01/20/update-little-women-las-terra-jole-attacked-christy-mcginity-threw-drink-christys-face/
  9. I saw Taylor taste his tartar sauce, then shake the spoon back into the little bowl with the rest of the tartar sauce that he served. Either Anne didn't see it or she didn't care. Or she wants him to win so she's not going to point out any more faults of his than necessary.
  10. It's been a long time since I read the book, which I read more than once and loved. Even though the book is far from fresh in my mind, the movie was too different from what I remember. It was disappointing and didn't capture the mood and essence of the book.
  11. As a Sean Bean fan, I enjoyed this. I was glad to see that all the other actors from season one were gone. I'm not a fan of all the time jumps, which seems to be a popular theme lately, but I'll tolerate them for the sake of being able to see an actor that I admire, as well as seeing how some promising storylines play out.
  12. This show is not holding my attention very well, which is never a good sign. I just watched this episode and I barely remembered the characters from the pilot, or what their stories are. If it doesn't get more interesting and engaging, I'll soon be out.
  13. I had been disappointed in this third season, and when I heard the show had been cancelled, I didn't care much. But this finale reminded me of how good the show was, and now I'm sorry it has ended.
  14. My dvr cut off before the end of the show, so it's nice to know that someone finally got the $20,000. I don't think that's happened since they changed the format to one item per aisle.
  15. I liked the celebrity edition too. Since they are all playing for charity, it seems like the producers could give the non winners some money too. Something like $1000 for the first person out, $2000 for the second person out, and $3000 for the third person out. That would have been a nice announcement to hear at the end of the show.
  16. I'm glad that Eddie won, although I liked Dom too, but I'm not interested in watching a BBQ show. Since he is big into fitness, I was hoping that he would have a show about cooking favorite dishes, but making them lighter and healthier. That's a show I would watch.
  17. Did Julia really not know that she would be entering the game? Wouldn't the fact that she was told to wear shorts and athletic shoes have tipped her off that she was going into the game instead of leaving with Liz?
  18. I thought that Eric Dane looked short in comparison to Adam Baldwin, especially in one scene. On imdb.com, Adam Baldwin is listed as being 6'4", and Eric Dane is listed at 6'1". It seemed like the difference was more than that, but maybe the angle that scene was shot at made the height differences seem more pronounced.
  19. They said that sound disperses out in the open air of the deck and wouldn't be detectible, so they didn't have to be quiet there.
  20. I did not see that bow in the wedding footage. Due to its very large size, surely it would have been visible even if it was placed on the dress on the other side of the camera angle. So it looks like the bride came to her senses and left the hideous bow off. Its beyond me how anyone could think that bow was pretty and made the dress better.
  21. There was way too little of Meredith and way too much of characters and storylines that I didn't want to see. Most of the show left me cold and uninvolved, but I did tear up at the very end.
  22. I can't believe they actually killed off Derek. I thought it was going to be a big fakeout after seeing the previews last week. It makes me sad. He loved Meredith and his children. It's too bad that Patrick Dempsey didn't want to stay through to the end of the show. And I hope the end is this year. This has been my favorite show for as long as it's been on, but they've killed off or sent away too many good characters, and saddled us with other annoying, unnecessary characters.
  23. That was very sweet. I'm going to miss all the people of Bluebell.
  24. This episode didn't hold my attention at all. I don't know if it's because I don't care for the new characters, Maleficent, Cruella and Ursula, or not. Maybe I'm just getting tired of the show.
