  1. I forwarded through a lot of this episode. It just didn't hold my interest.
  2. The finale was shown August 17 at 12 am and again at 4 am. If you're interested in seeing how it turned out, it's probably on the amc website or maybe On Demand if you have that. The whole series was unsatisfying, but I wanted to see how it ended.
  3. I assumed I was the only one who watched the finale, since there had been no other comments until now. I was hoping that this would be an interesting little mystery/suspense show, but the writers evidently had other thoughts.
  4. Episode 6, the finale, is listed as airing Tuesday, August 17 at 12 am Eastern on AMC. https://www.amc.com/schedule?tz=ET&from=2021-08-17 The strange thing is that imdb.com doesn't list a 6th episode, and the synopsis they give for episode 5 is the same that amc.com gives for episode 6.
  5. At least something happened this week, unlike the previous episodes.
  6. I've occasionally voted in the past, but not a single act last night motivated me to vote.
  7. I agree that George is too obvious of a suspect to be the driver. Unless they're trying to fake us off and have us dismiss him as the culprit by making it look too obvious. There are certainly signs that it could be the son, but I wonder if that's just to fake us off too. I also think it's too slow. I just watched the latest episode and I know I was tired to begin with, but I nodded off for a second or two during the show.
  8. That's certainly a possibility.
  9. I'm still watching it. It's okay, and since it's just 6 episodes, I'll stick with it until the end. There is very little else on to watch (I don't do streaming) and I'm mildly interested to know who the hit and run driver was.
  10. I didn't hate anyone after the first episode, but Frenchie has now made me change my mind.
  11. I just watched the first episode and I'm not sure that I want to watch the second one that I have on my dvr. I loved the gorgeous scenery and the wide variety of animals, but the talking and the "comedy" is lame. I think the show would be better to watch with the sound muted so I could simply marvel at the wonders of nature.
  12. I've seen two articles that say Greg Germann will return in some future episodes. "Greg Germann is joining Grey’s veteran Jesse Williams in departing the medical drama as a series regular. However, this is not the last we have seen of Tom Koracick, as Germann is expected to reprise his role as a guest star in the future." https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/another-grey-anatomy-doctor-exits-010049088.html "Greg Germann is a comic genius and we are so lucky that he brought his talents to our show these last few years. We will miss Greg terribly in the day to day -- but we plan to
  13. I will miss All Rise. I hope to see a lot of the actors showing up in new shows.
  14. I hate that. Prodigal Son is one of my favorites.
  15. I don't think this has been answered yet. The song is To Build A Home, by The Cinematic Orchestra. It has also been featured on Grey's Anatomy, during a dramatic scene.
  16. There is a short deleted scene where Catherine goes to Tom's hospital room to tell him that DeLucca has died and that they are about to hold a memorial service for him. https://ew.com/tv/greys-anatomy-deleted-scene-deluca-death-tom/?linkId=113873158&fbclid=IwAR0dTeFRtFkL2zTTgmdwwlJP-aUULX-AMebc6jXoZJHX1uq06gKZ5Ga9bJ4
  17. I recorded this, but I kept my finger on the fast forward button while watching the majority of the show. I mainly only watched the the two times that Anne and Carla were judging the contestants' dishes. I just wasn't up for listening to all the inane talk and seeing all the inept attempts at cooking from this cast of characters.
  18. I was not compelled to vote for anyone, so I didn't.
  19. That was pretty excruciating to watch. The only way I got through it was to lean heavily on the forward button.
  20. I think it just may have been dialog written for the episode. Here is the complete passage that I found. Pruitt: If you see a fire put it out, then move on to the next one. Whatever you do, don’t stick around once the fire’s out. There is no life to be lived in the ashes. Let them blow away. Andy: Good night, daddy. Pruitt: Good night, Andrea. Andy: Good-bye, daddy. Pruitt: See you later.
  21. It doesn't seem like the sound quality would be very good when the performance is broadcast from the contestants' homes. And for those contestants that don't play an instrument, what will the backing music be?
  22. Thank you. I'm not surprised at the outcome. Even without the fact that Chef Anne's team member usually wins, I thought that Shannon had the more complicated/sophisticated menu.
  23. Will someone tell me who won? My dvr cut off just as the judges started tasting Leo's cookies. So I didn't see who they chose as the winner. Thanks.
  24. I liked the finale. Could it have been better? Of course - it's not easy to end a 15 year run in 45 minutes. Most series finales don't seem to satisfy people, but I was satisfied with this one. I didn't mind the focus on Garcia in the last scene. I've never minded her character. I do find it pretty unbelievable that Rossi didn't retire. I looked up the mandatory retirement age for an FBI agent, and it's 57. I think he is beyond that age. I'm going to miss this show, although there are always reruns to watch. I did get teary at the end.
