Petty? Not when the exaggerator is a newsman. We really need to have trust in our news people.
  2. My interest in the show is waning, now that three of them are back in the studio. Alex is fine, but Jeff is hamming it up too much and GZ has returned to his Great Sphinx schtick. I guess TPTB at FN weren't loving the at-home videos as much as some of us, thus the push to return to the studio.

The first time I noticed Brian Williams was when we put the hotel room's tv on while on vacation in San Francisco. He was announcing the news of Diana's death. Never forgot that.
  4. I ordered Thai delivery. The Stupor Bowl fan made his vegetarian chili (great aroma, but boring). Cardamom coffee cake or key lime pie for dessert. And the beautiful snowfall ended at noon and melted, mostly.
  5. Grilled pork tenderloin, Spanish roasted potato salad, and key lime pie.
  6. I think you're right about getting a new cast. I think this group is out of ideas (and maybe so are their bosses at FN). So, maybe this group of cooks/chefs has run its course and they need a new chef/new show for Saturday morning. Re: Sunny standing out there in the cold and snow? It's time to tell her get into a kitchen or hit the road.
  7. Actually, they were making fun of him for creating elitist gourmet foods at some chefs' stadium food competition (no idea when this took place). Alex was at the same competition and enjoyed teasing him about his grand creations.
  8. Just had to turn off The Kitchen a few minutes early as Jeff is cooking up more hot dogs (his first go 'round had all the savory stadium flavors...I know Mr P914 would love them!) Oy. I loved Alex's beef empanadas. Her secret ingredient of cream cheese had me drooling. Sheesh...was that real snow falling on Sunny's patio? You could see her breath while she was speaking. I give up 🙄
  9. I've sort of lost my luv for Jake in the past year. He comes across as sour (can't think of a better word right now). I don't think he's always projected this... attitude? image? whatever, as I used to really like him. Of course, he's a lot more palatable than the wolf man!
  10. Ham steak, (Bob's) mashed potatoes, and salad. A fast & easy supper.
  11. @Yeah No: I am so sorry to learn about your dad passing away. Losing a parent is so hard. Take care of yourself.🌷
  12. I have an inferiority complex, but it’s not a very good one. What if Soy milk is just regular milk introducing itself in Spanish?
  13. It will move to HGTV next season (according to the MCM folks).
  14. Lidia is a real deal Italian cook. Always a good cook, always a professional.
  15. I dunno...S/K are beautiful skaters (especially Katsalapov!!). If Chock & Bates can't be on top of the podium, let it be S/K. The thought of The E. Twins winning Worlds is depressing. I can still see their empty seats at the 2018 Olympic team competitions (off practicing instead of cheering on their teammates).
  16. We got enough snow to be beautiful and our roads are clear. I sauted two salmon fillets in sesame oil, mural of flavor & garlic powder, and served w/ angel hair pasta in peanut sauce, and Spicy Mango Salad.
  17. Oh geez laweeze...Sunny & her Nunya Business stuff again. What's the big deal secret about using store-bought bbq sauce (or store-bought anything) when creating something that tastes good? If it's delicious & memorable, who cares?
  18. I watched today. GZ & Jeff were really salivating over Alex's stuffed, French onion soup-styled burgers. Oddly, Sunny never made anything but she was bellowing out there on her faux patio. Katie made some sweet/spicy granola to put on her baked brie. Jeff made chili rellenos. GZ made some sort of cheesecake that looked burnt on top but he insisted it wasn't (ok, if you say so, Geez). Alex's OTT burgers...I'm still thinking about them and imagining the yummy taste.
  19. They better follow the rules. Masks hanging under their noses should not be allowed (I'm thinking of some of their coaches). Anyone caught not following the rules needs to be told to leave.
  20. I needed a break from cooking (or even thinking about cooking) so we ordered & picked up crabcake sandwich dinners from our neighborhood golf course restaurant. They were good (for inland crabcake sammies 😊) and I enjoyed being able to concentrate on the news.
  21. Go on a cruise with your friend! You unpack once, no need to walk forever to find a restaurant you like, you can do excursions (or not--I love staying on the ship when almost everyone else is off adventuring...it's like having your own mega yacht). The Alaska cruises are spectacular. We also liked the Baltic Sea capitals cruise. It's an easy way to see Northern Europe, even Russia.
  22. Roast chicken shawarma, with stuffed grape leaves, broiled tomatoes & tiny Yukon potatoes, etc. Followed by snitched candy from the Valentine's box I plan to send to MN to our grandson (I'll replenish the goodies 😋)
  23. The problem with kleptomaniacs is that they always take things literally. Worrying works! More than 90 percent of the things I worry about never happen.
  24. My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance. I'm not going to vacuum until Sears makes one you can ride on.
  25. Blech! I saw that promo tonight. Ryan does it on Maine Cabin Masters (maybe he's copying the Chipster?) and it's so stupid...plus, just asking for injury.
