The adventure with Leia makes me wonder why, in her R2 message in ANH, she didn't say, "Hey Ben, it's me Leia. Remember that adventure we had 9 years ago? Well, I could use your help again." Instead she acts like she only knows him from reputation through her father.

This show has gotten boring enough without the month long breaks. It's like they're trying to alienate what's left of the audience.

I like Ashley. She's the kind of girl who makes an irresponsible weekend in Vegas a lifetime memory...hopefully that "memory" isn't herpes. I can imagine Tom telling his friends about this crazy girl with big boobs he banged on a TV show 20 years ago. Admittedly, it's not great for her. She's addicted to attention and chaos - it won't lead to a fulfilling life.

I don't know about actual whoring but it wouldn't surprise me to see her on a sugar site. She's a typical cam girl. Nothing is off limits as long as she's getting paid. It's sad to see so many women chasing that bag.

Didn't they show everyone locking the boat down before sailing in previous seasons? I can imagine a producer off camera just throwing things or unlocking drawers to create drama.

They aren't though. I doubt even Glenn can actually fire people. Look at all the "your ass is gone" speeches Lee gives, yet people rarely leave. Plus Ashley and Gabriela are out there getting wasted and making bad decisions - they need to keep up the good work. I'm finally entertained by this show again.

Both Tom and Ashley seemed a little attached for just hooking up once. Tom got to have sex with the big boob girl and had her on a talking head saying how great he was. Take the win, bro, and move along. Instead he gets weird about everything.

Ashley's there for the followers. She's a former cam girl (reddit has posted her nudes) and looks to be transitioning to something more mainstream. Going after Gary is the best way to get airtime.

If Rayna is this upset over Heather repeating "Dis ni**a" after her, she better never go to most big cities, especially LA or Miami. White, Asian and Hispanic people say "ni**a" every other word. It's only a problem when there's a hard "R" on the end or it's specifically meant as an insult.

Lee will virtue signal and repeat his "words like those have no place on a yacht" line from his blog. Then Andy will move along. It's crazy that a salty sea dog like Lee would actually use woke buzz phrases like "do better". Makes me think his blog is written for him.

We didn't hear the entire conversation with her dad but what made him think people were walking all over her?

I'm sure tons of captains are available, but are they willing to follow the script like Lee is?

Something tells me Jess isn't the proactive type. Plus she's easily bored and isn't detail oriented. She's cute though.

It's the JJ Abrams “mystery box" brand of storytelling. Supposedly, the idea or anticipation of what might happen is more important than what actually happens. So a writer can just keep introducing more weirdness instead of resolving anything. It's a nice way of saying that, if a writer is out of ideas and can't complete a successful storyline, just keep the audience guessing for several seasons before they get bored and quit. At least you get a paycheck.

They had a ton of weird things to get an audience hooked and keep them guessing, but never explained them or had a payoff. It didn't work for me. I couldn't believe this was the last episode of the season. Next season could either be great or horrible depending on whether or not some of these major plot points are resolved.
