  1. Legit, I think Candiace saw the writing on the wall, whether I agree with her or not (many times I don't) I do believe she was 100% authentic to her feelings (again, many times I disagreed with her) she legit thought Robyn was her friend on and off the show, and she knew things weren't going to change unless Gizelle left the show, which I'm sure she knows wasn't happening. Plus, after the Deborah debacle, I'm certain she either was going to get jumped and/or her marriage was going to be attacked again. I'm sure she will miss the money, but while I don't believe she's rich by any means I don't think she will be hurting. Do I think her singing and acting career equals what she was earning on the show? Absolutely not, but she's not going to be in any trouble financially like, say, Robyn and Ashley.
  2. I'm only on the first episode of the second season and, regarding Alex Hall and Tyler, I think the implication is that it was at least rumored that they've been hooking up before Brittany Snow filed for divorce, or at least that's what was rumored. I don't believe Brandi's pressed because of her client ranted to her for 30 minutes, I think since she is or was friends with Alex Hall she cared about her friend's reputation. Since Austin was making jokes about it (it appears for some time) and Polly was wondering what would happen if they ended up together, it seems the entire office had an inkling those two (Tyler and Alex) were more than friendly. One thing is for sure, had it been Jarvis or Rose instead of Alex Hall, all the women would've called them all the types of bitches and whores.
  3. I think it's safe to say they're the break-out pairing of the season. At the end of this episode I was like "is everyone at least somewhat part of the LGBT+ spectrum in this school? Maybe Nick's blonde former friend isn't, but of course there's always next season". I think Tori deserves better next year, I mean, sure, she had her scenes when playing the protecting sister, but I wish she had something else besides that and sipping her drink. I don't need her paired up with someone else, just have another storyline other than "lonely girl that loves her brother". I don't mind in the least that Isaac is asexual, but, can we drop it with the books? I get it, boy likes to read. I don't doubt that he is asexual or at least he's trying to find and/or figure himself out, but I'd ask myself why I'm so attached to physically holding a book the entire time. Sure, it's okay to not be interested in sex or finding a partner (especially if they're just turning 15, isn't that Charlie's age?), but, can you at least, you know, leave your book at home while you're going to prom? Do you mind NOT reading while we're in a group with friends? As I write this I'm realizing how annoyed I was with this. I didn't notice in the first season but he was more of a background character, but since they decided to give him more screentime it's all I could see this time around. I wasn't surprised Charlie's still dealing with the aftermath of the year he was bullied and I'm glad the show is addressing this, he can be extremely happy being with Nick but he can still have PTSD from his past, it won't be easy to get over it especially since he's a teenager. That's about the only think I could think of, but I mean, I love true crime, so my mind immediately goes to "why is he walking by himself after midnight? He's practically begging to be kidnapped", but then I remember this is a kids' show. Had it been me? I would've been running in zigzag until I came home, and THEN I would've texted the "I love you".
  4. As of right now they're all giving me "Friend of" energy, except for maybe Jenna but not because she's a "star", it's because she sticks out like a sore thumb among this group of influencers. I now know everyone's name but, to me, they're all interchangeable. I thought Sai was going to give me a fashion show with her three suitcases but I still find her quite ordinary, considering her profession. I actually do like/know a few influencers but I've said it before and I'll say it again: influencers belong in social media, you need a different set of skills and background if you want to be on television and/or movies.
  5. Do they even have houses in the Hamptons? Just asking. I feel like we were supposed to believe that these women are much wealthier than the OG's, and maybe they are but I don't think there's much of a difference. Maybe Jenna might be the wealthiest of them all, but I don't see much of a difference between the rest and say, Ramona, Dorinda or LuAnn. I know Bravo wanted to go back to the roots of RHONY but these women are all falling flat for me, I just don't think the new girls are nowhere near as funny and/or delusional, I'm still missing someone saying "I wanted to order a pizza, my name? It's Countess De Lesseps".
  6. Love Pitita and she's my winner, however, I'm glad she didn't win last night's episode as she clearly had an advantage with her partner being a seasoned drag queen. Plus, they needed to spread the wealth. The judges are still the best part of the show, however, part of the reason why I think Pitita is winning so much is that there weren't any clear frontrunners aside from her. I mean sure, I LOVED Bestiah and Pakita but they had a very specific skill-set.
  7. I think this is what Chrishell was alluding to when she told Mary the property was overpriced. It was semi-interesting to me that Mary and Chrishell stopped being close after Chrishell broke up with Jason, yet Chrishell and Jason remained cool pretty quickly. Me thinks Jason isn't as "nice" and/or holds up too much power over Mary, and probably made Mary choose either him or her. I know Chrishell is the bigger star and Mary knew Jason way before than Chrishell, but one of the very few real moments on this show is that Chrishell seemed hurt that Mary stopped talking to her. I know I might be in the minority and 95% of Chelsea's beef with Bre was producer-driven, but Bre's situation gave me some ick. I agree with Chelsea being one of the villains (the top spot obviously belongs to Nicole) but the main difference between Chelsea and Christine is that Chelsea seems to be very well-liked by most of the "office".
  8. I think I know who will be on next season of Atlanta Housewives...
  9. I'm convinced Jimbo is losing these lip syncs on purpose. I mean sure, Jimbo's no dancer, but she's such a personality and performer that I find it odd that at the time of the lip sync she's so terrible. As of this episode, I think she's convinced she'll make it til the end and she'll surprised the judges at the final lip sync. I saw the first two episodes and right now I'm just watching Bianca's recaps on YouTube, maybe I got used to All Stars 7 but this group is really lacking, there's a reason why the early outs were... Early outs? I'm only interested in Jimbo, Jessica Wild and Heidi, and that's not enough to be glued to the screen whenever she show comes on.
  10. This is exactly what I thought, I know Robyn has a good heart but even for her I didn't understand why she went after Fisk considering he has been nothing but trouble to her and her team. I think this will be how they'll be save next season, otherwise I don't see how she can magically do it herself unless Mel gets herself free and saves Harry and Dante. I think someone will have to die and hopefully it'll be Fisk, I don't believe the CIA works in the context of the show but if they bring someone else from the CIA I'd like it to be someone like Bishop that helps the team rather than the team be involved in these types of storylines. I wouldn't mind seeing Dee and aunt Vi form a team to help other people, Dee could be the mini-vigilante and aunt Vi be the heart of the operation. At least I prefer this to Dee trying to make it in fashion while aunt Vi's just there as an art teacher. On a superficial side, I just love the wardrobe people, they dress Robyn so cool yet comfortable enough for her to do her vigilante stuff and I love Harry's style too. I didn't realize the show is actually successful, at least they're in the Top 20 and I think that's good enough to last at least 2 more seasons, while there's definitely some flaws I enjoy Queen Latifah and especially Lorraine Toussaint.
  11. I think the whole point of this episode was to drive Jimbo against Pangina, but while I do think Heidi and Jessica did better than Jimbo, Jimbo's look was way, way better than anything else on the show.
  12. I usually blame Dee for everything but Robyn and Aunt Vi seemed accepting of the way she handled things, which was a bit surprising since in this case the real victim here for me was Stacey, actually, for a second, I thought Dee was going to embrace Stacey. I have absolutely no idea how the fashion industry works and I tend to buy clothes online anyway, so relegating Dee to the back of the store because she had braids seemed like a storyline I would've watched in the 90's, I would've thought rich ladies (from NY? Was that store in NYC?) would appreciate having stylish hip girls help them style them to look more youthful and trendy -yet conservative. But then again I'm not a rich older lady so what would I know? But MAYBE this is the show's way of derailing Dee's ambitions to work in fashion and instead work her up to become the next Robyn? Now I'm scared to write this as I will seem like the lady who didn't want Dee at the store, but I think Dee's too tiny to become a CIA agent/Equalizer. And yes, Mel is also tiny but I thought she was more of a shooter than a fighter.
  13. Sheree should become a premium personal trainer or a fitness influencer of some sort and call it a day, leave those 'fashions' to Shein.
  14. That's it, unless something miraculous happens this season for me is officially a flop. Candiace is reverting to her old ways, I want to believe that her fight with Chris was sending her to the edge but her fight with Porsha was completely unnecessary. Having said that, I was completely on her side with bottle gate. Gizelle really needs to stop self-producing and no one gave a shit about her bottle, I agreed with Candiace, she probably had it in her room, OR, since a bunch of them were drinking that tequila it was probably empty and the staff threw it away (or maybe Gizelle and production concocted that tired-ass storyline). I'm still not feeling Whitney that much, but at least she had the sense to stop talking about Heather and her black eye. And when it comes to Heather, I'm over her and her "self-deprecating" humor. Only Bethenny did it well and even she could become exhausting.
  15. I don't mind Leah as much as everyone else, but I do agree that she needed to chill, which was surprising since I felt that in NY she needed (or wanted) to have the opportunity to hang out more with people her age. I understand she doesn't drink and I would NOT recommend this type of show to ANYONE who has issues with alcohol, but here we are. The only grace I will give her is that I agree that the rest of the women, especially the SLC girls, seem to defer to Porsha and Gizelle, except for Candiace, so if they don't like you, you're pretty much screwed. Again, not to defend Leah but I didn't think what she did was so horrible. I love Candiace (always have) but she really did stretch it when she called out Porsha and Gizelle for being bullies, at most, maybe they targeted Leah a tad too much. Now for Gizelle, now everyone knows she supported Candiace because she HATED Monique, and like Candiace said, she can be grateful to Gizelle for having her back, but Candiace still can be upset because Porsha flat-out aired Monique's false claims about her, clearly Porsha was Monique's messenger. Aside from Leah (again, I don't mind her but I'm not crazy about her either), the biggest mistakes in this cast are Whitney and Heather, sorry but those two are bringing the series down. I don't care about the black eye and I don't want to hear who is loyal or not loyal to criminal Jen Shah. If they really wanted to bring SLC they should've brought Lisa Barlow.
  16. I think the girls, understandably so, are pissed that both Melissa and Joe gave themselves credit for putting food on the girls' table while their mom was in jail and their dad was jobless. Whether the Gorgas were there for the girls all the time, part of the time, or they were only there while cameras were rolling, that was a really shitty thing to say, so I don't fault Gia or Gabriela for having an opinion nor did I expect them to warm up to Melissa ON camera. I do prefer Teresa over Melissa and Joe but I'm far from being a "tre-hugger", but when it comes to Teresa's daughters I do understand where they're coming from.
  17. I get it, Margaret and Jennifer hate each other, and I've been getting it for the past 3 seasons. It's time to let either one go. Jen brings her whole family and she's Teresa's friend, but Marge keeps the stories going (i.e. Lissa Rinna) and she's one of the main antagonists (depending who's side you're on). Either one can go in my opinion but I think it's time for one of them (plus Jackie) to leave for good.
  18. This is the part that I don't understand, maybe the first season they weren't paid a lot, but at least for the last 3 seasons I'm sure she has received that amount or even more, considering she's an OG. Where's all that money? Surely she didn't spend it on her wardrobe... Lisa from Miami and Ashley, for me, seem to be the same character on a different franchise, they both have cheating-rich husbands, they both have apparently iron-clad prenups, both have small children. But while Lisa's storyline has been her divorce and how she's coping, Ashley seems chill in comparison, while Lisa isn't really involved in any other drama surrounding the rest of the cast, Ashley was more embroiled and 'passionate' with the Chris Basset / Karen vs Robin feud than her divorce, something happening in her real life. Something's off with Ashley. That to me is the biggest question mark regarding the wedding, and I don't even think Robin is "in love" with Juan. Why go through with the wedding when A) her husband cheated B) he's broke C) see A) and B) I would think that maybe the 'Dickson" (sorry I'm 12) is too powerful, but honestly, I don't even think they have sex anymore.
  19. If Chorrizo thought going back to the show was going to cure her depression she's more delusional than I thought, maybe had she come for Robyn that would've made it better? Probably not, but at least it would've been a twist. I'm sure either production or Andy must be PISSED at Gizelle and Robyn (and maybe Ashley too), at the very least the two of them knew about Robyn's true infidelity situation, yet they chose to focus on Chris for no good reason. Now that both the season and the reunion are over, they start talking about it on their podcast? We all saw the crickets that infested their liveless show, how much money do they think they're going to make on their flopcast versus Bravo money? Now Robyn is saying if "it comes up" on season 8 she's ready to talk about it, but, who told her she was signed for next season? I say production needs to reprimand her by making her a "Friend of" and give Gizelle and Ashley an ultimatum to show their real life or else.
  20. Ding Ding Ding! This just goes to show how ill-equipped she is at the Housewives game, all of the women (well, those who have the means and the real storylines) hustle to try to snatch camera time, and part of the game is to host dinners, parties or any type of events. Charrisse is right, she knows Robyn the longest therefore she should've come up with the idea of hosting her friend to a bachelorette party, but she was either too slow or lazy to do it. Maybe it's just me, and I'm not even too fond of Karen, but "outing" her for going to rehab crosses the line, it's called AA for a reason. If she wants to share this that's fair game, but gossiping about someone's alcoholism when said person hasn't discussed this is low, I think it's even slightly better to gossip about "Blue Eyes". I think she'll still want to be a part of it because the platform is just too good, look at Kandi Burruss. While I think she's a legitimate good singer and her acting ain't that bad, I don't see her walking away unless she reaches Cardi B levels. I mean, sure, I do think she's making good bucks for her singing and acting, but I still think her main income is through the show, for now.
  21. Now that's the real reason Charrisse is mad and the real reason of this "drama", yet, as Karen pointed out and Charrisse even acknowledged, Charrisse DIDN'T cast Karen, production saw her and decided she should join the franchise, I don't care if Karen was thirsty for this and sat down at Charrisse's table, Karen got on the show because of Karen. Karen was wrong about the way she acted, and I'm sure she realized this and this is why she was so subdued at the last dinner, Charrisse, Robyn and Gizelle kept trying her but I'm glad Karen didn't reciprocate this time. And Charrisse, remember Jill Zarin? She also put the group together and look how that turned out for her, and in Jill's defense (and I can't believe I'm about to say this) she was far more entertaining than Charrisse. Robyn might be all for Charrisse because Karen has always humiliated Robyn in all of her interactions, and Gizelle probably wants to be the undisputed face of this franchise so getting rid of Karen might bump her status, but if I were Robyn and Gizelle and they want this franchise to work, trying to get rid of Karen might just be the biggest mistake they could make. If she's so rich and bougie and always asking for champagne (and that's RHOC's Heather's thing, and much more believable) why is she always so poorly dressed? When they were in the beach she had Walmart leggings and a Target white t'shirt, everyone else was in trendy bathing suits, even Gizelle didn't look so bad, pink definitely suits her. Charrisse is always mumbling her words and always appears bored or sleepy. If she's the real queen of Potomac she needs to be dethroned. I always knew Candiace had it in her, that was some intelligent, subtle shade that Ashley couldn't deny wasn't true, she even had to admit she holds resentment towards Candiace (duh!). At this point I don't see how they could become friends, I'd rather Candiace return to her alliance with Karen but Candiace needs to realize, although I think she has, is that no one is her friend in real life. My bet is that since she started getting therapy and all of her successes she's now more secure and mature, she doesn't depend on the relationships among the group. Remember when Ashley told her at one reunion that she was the least accomplished and that she was a "house-daughter"? Well, I think that besides Wendy, Candiace is by far the most accomplished of them all. Notice that none of them is coming after her in regards to that... Now it's about her relationship, but oh well, small victories. 22. I understand Lenny is an asshole and Lisa will do better in the future, however, I don't understand the divorce proceeding since I recall Lisa saying she had a prenup. Can she fight for that? Knowing Lenny I highly doubt there was an infidelity clause, although since there are children involved and I'm assuming Lisa will have at least 50% custody maybe she can plead her case?
  23. This episode highlighted what my issue with Gizelle is, everyone has their own personal "storyline" aside from the drama within the group, and the only thing she had to offer was her alleged hysterectomy and we didn't even see her going to her doctor, telling her kids or her group of friends, etc. The only thing we got was her talking to Robyn on the phone (while driving) and she seemed even more alive when she reverted the topic to Charrisse and Karen. When Jacqueline and Mia were having their kerfuffle Gizelle was more interested in the gossip and what they were saying to each other, even Wendy and Candiace showed more empathy towards the situation when Gizelle was supposed to be friendlier with both Mia and Jacqueline. I get that Gizelle's job is to be messy, but it's impossible to imagine why, at this stage of the game, ANY of them (except Juan's roomate) would tell her anything about their lifes, hell, she even blurted out Robyn's BM schedule just because it annoyed her. Speaking of Robyn... Not that I care about weddings on reality television but, if you're going to show me a fitting, let it be your dress fitting! If your sons aren't Sheree's or Dolores' I don't need to see them at all. I think the reason why Karen is on Robyn's neck has more to do with her role on the show, the GEB have always come for Karen regarding her finances and her marriage, so Karen is returning the favor, just like when she was questioning Gizelle's flop relationship with Jamal.
  24. Don't give them ideas for next season, next storyline is that either Eddie or Chris, or both, will be gay.
