    Worst Cooks In America

None of which excuses hiring a hit man to kneecap Kerrigan with a crowbar. Harding isn’t trash because she got bad breaks. She’s trash because she’s a terrible person. I think this show has been really dishonest about the way it has promoted her.

My question is whether or not the Blurryman was actually embedded in all of the other episodes.

    S31.E09: Let's Split!

The problem with your theory is how anyone standing in those lines is supposed to know that. They didn’t think the other woman was going to leave until she left. To me it looked like two lines.

    S31.E07: Living Fearlessly

That kind of crap is why I would never even consider watching one of those other shows. They appear to have all of the bad stuff from reality television in general without the beautiful scenery of TAR.
  5. To all the people who think they can sort out “fame whores” from “non-fame whores” on a show that only exists because everybody agrees to being on camera all the time, good luck with that. It’s like sorting out who is “mugging for the camera.” The answer to both of those questions is everybody on the show.

I take the strangeness of this reality to be due to the fact that the story is about two alternate universes, neither one of them OURS. This show screamed nothing at me. Maybe if a viewer has a reason to be overly sensitive to it.

I agree with a lot of what you’re saying, but I think you’re asking this particular episode to do a lot that is beyond its remit. The show was a parable about toxic masculinity. I don’t think it was prepared to offer solutions, just to show the horror of what is. And yes, individual men can be good and individual women horrible, but that’s beside the point. If anybody thinks the pressures that Annie was under going on her job before the meteor shower even began were an exaggeration, they are wrong. Women on a whole have to maneuver a minefield of sexism in their day-to-day existence that men on a whole just do not.

    S08.E05: The Bells

A “happy ending” for Game of Thrones could never feature a “benevolent” monarch on the throne. The only true happy ending for the people would be democracy.

The “good guys” were responsible for some of these atrocities.

I don’t think the business about the poison is over.

    S31.E03: Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy

I’m not sure we’re watching the same show. All of those people definitely mug for the camera. I can’t think of a single contestant who doesn’t.

+1000! EVERYBODY on this show mugs for the camera. Why single Tyler out?

S31.E02: Knock the Newbie Out of Us

I’ve never been more happy never to have seen Big Brother if she’s an example of a “superstar” on that show. I’ll take Tyler’s mugging all day, every day.

The point was pretty much given to us by A. Traveler. You tell somebody what they want to believe and they’ll buy anything. There were no Russians involved. This was an alien invasion of a town full of doofuses. They didn’t know where the power station was, so they had to get the trooper to lead them to it. And, if you don’t think people can be duped by stories about YouTube fame, you haven’t been paying attention to social media. Edited to add, it’s no small irony that the Europeans who settled Alaska did much the same thing to Yuka’s ancestors.

S02.E14: Such Sweet Sorrow, Part II

About 'The Signals', 7 signals were initially spotted, Spock dreamed of 7 signals, but Michael only created 5 of them -- so who created the other ones (the ones the Discovery never visited -- this seems like a big WTF with the whole 'signals' plot). Six was the one Discovery followed and seven was the one for Spock to let him know she was okay. (I don’t have a clue how the quote jumped outside of the box.)
