There is an interesting Reddit theory and timeline suggesting this haunting couple began coupling as far back as "S9 when Rachel started to dress a bit edgier with the short haircut, the hats, and jewelry, sort of dressing more like Ariana. April 2021. This is also when she started standing up for herself "the start of Sandoval's Svengali influence over Rachel". Sandoval apparently loves women with short hair, and he and Ariana both made a huge deal of how much he loved when she gets a long bob in season 5 or 6.
" I think the reason Tom was so involved and invested in Rachella was to get Rachel more airtime and secure her a spot as a main cast member on the show. He knew it'd be a big storyline and wanted her secured on the show before they both blew up their lives. If she and James broke up before they got engaged, we wouldn't have seen her on the show again"

This video suggests a very compelling theory that "making a partner appear to be crazy so I can leave them and look like a good guy/victim" is Sandoval's go-to MO and how he plays the long game to smear a "partner" in order to make them an ex. It includes Unseen Footage from 2019 of Sandoval and James, S8 Ariana's Birthday, and a video of Girl's Night, taken by Sandoval (also in attendance), and what could be the reason behind the rage texts sent by James to Rachel.

Rachel coincidentally texted Janet later that day (pap day) to tell Janet that she appreciated her telling her l to call her family because everyone else hates her and she needs to get a support system and appreciated Janet looking out for her.
Janet didn't respond.
Makes you wonder how nobody in this group saw signs of this serious social disconnection during the years she was on the show.

I thought I didn't want to see these two and the monkey on the show next season. I've since changed my mind. Castmates most likely will shun or put them in their place now that their masks have been destroyed. Can't see them getting a good edit even if they are filmed in India taking Mother Theresa's place.
On the other hand, imagine a full season of sulking, screaming, victim sandy.

Kristens Podcast Sex, Love, and What Else Matters episode 29
They start the episode with Janet saying she pulled Rachel off camera after the first conversation with Katie and was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? You're going to look horrible". She said she told her you look like you have no empathy right now, you're supposed to be this sweet girl.
Janet tries to put Rachel in Katie's shoes by saying what if someone was doing that with James? Rachel (in her bimbo voice) goes "oh yeah I guess." She tells her she needs to go apologize, which is when Rachel goes outside to interrupt Schwartz and Katie. Janet said Rachel literally regurgitated what Janet had told her.

Scheana and Ariana threw the first pitch at Padres v Cubs game Petco Park in San Diego. Attendance: 42655. The friar had a sign that said “team Ariana” (allegedly)
Sandy and the extras played in downtown Douglas, MI (pop 1,378) in Community Church at Beery Field for Pride in the Park.

Lets start with the big one, financial. Ariana is a financial partner, rachel is a load. The way he is throwing money around he may be able to buy out Ariana re the house. I also think rachel was good with the affair being outed. This may be a factor in her bland facial expressions while in the trailer. She is ready to move up.

My karma comment was meant for "real life" as I do not believe this portrayal of their character is an act for the cameras. From what I saw and have read, this is who they are as people. I have no empathy for those intent on inflicting premeditated, intentional harm to serve themselves.
I do, however, enjoy watching them out themselves from the safety of my four walls.

Amidst the loud din of one of the back-and-forths, I think there was a mention, by the CEO of Misogynist Inc., of James and a waitress during an Atlantic City appearance and something about an NDA.
Of greater interest is the briefly mentioned "disappearance" by Schwartz. Lighting candles that this little slip gets fleshed out.🤞

If Sandoval was able to control the narrative the way he tried to, he would have succeeded in painting Ariana as an insane, unstable, emotionally abusive partner. He could have destroyed her reputation and prospects. He could have destroyed her financially.
All to salvage himself.

Ariana exposes a scamdoval "show tactic" and he loses it calling her a ‘motherf**er’ in extended Peacock episode.
Sandoval insists Ariana always called him dumb in the relationship. While defending herself Ariana exposes one of Scamdoval's show tactics to deflect the heat off himself.
“Never let them finish the sentence”
This is exactly what he does. Tom proves what Ariana just said, as he immediately raises his voice, appears aggressive and tries to talk over her. And its not just Ariana- he did it to Lala at the Heartspring party. When she was trying to explain the Labor Day ride situation, he loudly went “I KNOW! Iknowiknowiknow” in her face so she’d shut up.
Ariana didn't bat an eyelid when he called her that, which implies that he has yelled and called her names throughout their relationship. She was clearly not lying when she said he screamed at her for three days straight then acted contrite as soon as cameras went up.
This tactic of not letting them finish, shouting your narrative louder, and drowning out any response is how Scamdoval (and the men) have always successfully pushed their version of events and this is the first time it's being called out. In this scene, he got checked by Lisa immediately and went MUTE.

James hasn't been on solid emotional ground since we met him. While still in his twenties, he has acknowledged having an addiction to alcohol and substances and is in the process of addressing them. He had this grand over-the-top Rachella proposal, promoted/supported/egged on by good friend scandoval, only to months later be humiliated by rachel breaking up with him on the following reunion.
Table for one understanding and being sympathetic to his behavior following the double betrayal.
If in fact, these two emotional demons had been together during this time, would elevate their evil. Why set him up with assisting in the rachella bs and why would she say yes to the proposal?

It's so fascinating watching Tom slip in and out of his mask. He is PANICKING because he realized they don’t have all their stories straight. His hysterics show how unintelligent and/or lazy he is, that he couldn’t be bothered to better organize with his co-conspirators. Tom spirals cause he can’t have off-camera time to coordinate more lies with Rachel and went to his go-to "I'll aggressively bully him til he caves and I get my want". He’s putting on the act and then screaming at the crew. I enjoy watching his blood pressure rise, make a fool of himself, and then not get his way. Props to producer Patrick- I'm sure they're seasoned producers and know Scandovals bullying ways.
Within seconds, he pretends to be contrite and then screaming, blames Ariana. He’s losing it. I was surprised he had the audacity to yell back at Arianna "This is the real you." He just can't help but dig his own grave.

Soooo sick of this guy and his voice.
40 yr old teenager. Can't speak, dresses like a 70's porn star, intellectually dim, injects himself in others conversations, and his go-to when questioned, doubted, or challenged is aggressively attack—cornered rat. Gotta say I am delighted he has outed himself and the mask of civility he wore when he had to is gone.
The only thing I am interested in seeing going forward is more karma slapping him around, as in stuck with rachel as she stalks him to eternity, passive-aggressive man boy schwartz finally realizing he has been abused and this fool is the abuser and they go after each other.
