I wonder what's in it for Janelle

Janelle is a lazy slacker. I guess I will add delusional into that description because she shills this "healthy" mlm crap and lifestyle while glued to her lazy boy looking like a wikipedia description for comorbidity. She can't be bothered to have that thing growing on her lip looked until she can see it without a mirror. Unless one is delusional, nobody that looks like Janelle would be serious about promoting healthy anything.

She's in this lifestyle so she can coast, and doesn't mind kody brown telling her what to do. No heavy "decision making" lifting, being in a rotation so she  only has to deal with the guy one on one infrequently. Her autopilot personality is a cover for her insecurities, which she then eats, in private.

Which makes her performance this season so phony. Out of the blue, assertive Janelle is going to address the communication pink elephant creating chaos in the brown fambly. Didn't work, not sincere, not entertaining and the only elephant I saw was her frozen in that camp chair stone faced. She has zero discipline or ambition.

BTW, have we ever had a scene with just her and Robyn?

  2. Janelle's polar opposite reactions to Robyn and Christine.

Group Lunch: Robyn pre fake crying "are you referring to me" and Janelle jumps up from chair to comfort her.

Plague Acres Picnic: Christine proposes Utah move, Janelle reacts to her crying and distress with anger.

Theme for this season: Janelle Strives for Communication

What's up with Janelle? Producer driven garbage, Janelle is a phony, End of the season and she was worn out from pretending to give a shit.

    Her anger seemed authentic.

    So much for communicating Janelle.

it’s that the light seems to have gone out of her eyes

Karma for being the chosen one, including living 24/7 with kody brown.

Don't believe for a second her comment about kody being with her all the time and not the other spiritual wives had anything to do with her being gracious to them and her being a sister wife team player. Even she doesn't want that psycho around all the time. She got the ring, the title, the legal paperwork, and the mansion. Covid is the excuse he uses to avoid the others. Surprise Robyn! You have monogamy kody! You might want to load up on that LIV water.

  4. Buckle up kody brown, the bumpy ride of negative press is going to ruin your shocks.

"With his four wives and many children, Kody Brown is the controversial patriarch on Sister Wives. He hasn’t impressed viewers with his parenting skills or his ability to be a supportive, loving husband to any of his wives. Yet, Sister Wives is the train wreck audiences can’t look away from. The dynamic of four people trying to share a single spouse naturally lends itself to drama and fighting. Viewers now want to know more about Kody Brown and what he does when not badly handling his home situation."

"Kody Brown was born January 17, 1969, making him 52 years old, which is surprising given his immature behavior that is often displayed on the show."

  5. "Something about PK? Bravo fans were quick to judge Dorit Kemsley’s accent when she started on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but it turns out she isn’t the only one who adopted PK Kemsley’s dialect. Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel recently revealed she did too."

There are great hospitals and teaching hospitals in the southwest.  No need to go to NJ.

Strange they couldn't go to Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. Maybe staying with her sister was a factor. Or getting away from kody.

"At Mayo Clinic, neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons draw upon their vast experience with spinal fusion techniques to help provide exactly the treatment and care you need for your specific condition."

Ok wait...I've read where they all said they liked Flagstaff because they believed it was more conservative

I read that somewhere too. I think what he meant was liberal socially but conservative politically. Whatever that means. Since he never lived in Flagstaff before moving there and has no "friends" there, wonder where he came up with that. He obviously isn't into research.

I bet his lifestyle isn't as much of a deterrent as is his suck the air out of the room personality.

After thinking about what I wrote, I'm thinking maybe this is a big reason why they move so much. We aren't the only ones that deeply dislike the guy. I refer back to the visit back to his hometown/high school episode. Didn't appear to be a lot of warm and fuzzies. Could they have gotten paid to be part of that episode? I'm guessing a little kody brown goes a long way, wherever he lives. I'm also guessing that after the initial shock and awe of his personality wears off, people run the other way when they see him or tell him to knock it off to his face. His kryptonite grandiose personality, impulsivity, and big mouth alienates those around him and his "go to", is to move.

Now that Kody has been a fixture in Flagstaff for two years, I wonder what kind of reception he gets from the locals.

According to one article dated 12-8-2020, ‘Sister Wives’ Kody Brown Still Feels Shunned In Flagstaff.

"he previously mentioned that he thought Flagstaff, rather “liberal,” would accept the family. However, it now looks like Sister Wives‘ Kody Brown still feels unwanted in the university and touristy town. In fact, we suggested back in March this year, that Kody might move the family back to Utah. The Sun UK reported that they talked with Kody Brown. The patriarch of the TLC show told them that he and the family still feel ‘not popular” in Flagstaff, Arizona, as neighbors ‘wish they weren’t here.” Recall, they moved there two years ago. So, it seems that from Kody’s perspective, people still don’t care for them. He told the outlet that they’re ‘not popular around here.”

    https://www.tvshowsace.com/2020/12/08/sister-wives-kody-brown-flagstaff/

So what has kody brown done to assimilate himself and his 4 backup singers to the town and residents of Flagstaff? Was he expecting a parade and keys to the city upon arrival? Flagstaff may be a university and tourist town, but "the town" is a small town. The Brown traveling circus, ie. photo of the head clown outside the gym, the grifting they most likely attempt at local stores/"Kids Eat Free"restaurants, and press attention would not be welcomed, liberal town or not by the locals.

I've lived all over this state, Flagstaff, Tucson, Sierra Vista, Prescott, and now Phoenix. I've been here so long I am considered a local.  For the most part people like living quiet lives.  Not surprised at the neighbors reaction while Meri was moving into the first rental. I too would be running for the phone. kody brown is flamboyant. If he thought he would be a big fish in a small town, his personality would prevent that. I bet his lifestyle isn't as much of a deterrent as is his suck the air out of the room personality.

Interesting that this article stated "In fact, we suggested back in March this year (2020), that Kody might move the family back to Utah." Put's another spin on the last episode.

  11. Went down a Robyn rabbit hole. It is now plainly clear why nothing makes sense and these people are odd, at best.

Mindy Jessop is Robyn’s “step-niece,” if such a term actually exists, outside the inbred world of polygamy. Mindy’s mother is Lisa Sullivan. Lisa Sullivan is a daughter of Paul Howard Sullivan Sr (Robyn’s stepfather) and Robyn’s “other mother” Carol Sullivan. Robyn's mother is Alice Fullmer. Mindy’s father (Lisa Sullivan’s husband) is Michael Jessop. Michael Jessop is a son of Morris Y. Jessop.

Most viewers will recognize the surname “Jessop,” as the same as Robyn’s ex-husband, and erased father of three of her children, Dayton, Aurora, and Breanna. David Preston Jessop is Mindy’s second cousin. In case anyone is wondering, David Jessop is also…

1st cousin & 2nd cousin of Christine Brown [1st cousin through Christine’s father Rex Allred, a half-brother of David’s mother Mary Diane Allred; 2nd cousin through Christine’s step-grandmother Ethel Jessop, a sister of David’s father Louis LaMar Jessop]

1st cousin of Meri’s “other mothers” Shirley & Judy

    3rd cousin of Kody Brown

“Mindy is Robyn’s niece, and she has been babysitting Robyn’s kids for a few years now.”

Anyone think Robyn was paying Mindy for her babysitting services, or would this be put under the "grifting" category?

  14. I think Robin gets off on being in the power position more than she adores her failed prophet. Monogamy didn't work out so good for her the first time. I believe she wanted a group effort, ie financial and hands on support and kind of got a bait and switch in the kody department. Their time together would be divided by 4, and now she's stuck with that guy 98% of the time. He seems more into her, than she into him. They deserve each other.

    My vote is politics.

I should have included the non existent vomit emoji after this. I don't have the slightest idea what this guy's future holds to make money. With all the noise and nonsense of late, politics was all I could come up with. He sure gets all roostered up telling people what to do, thinks his ideas are the best for the "people", and cannot manage anything even basic car maintenance.

I can't even come up with someone, past or present, on the small screen that has made a similar or worse portrayal of themselves or a fictional character. Heck, Tony Soprano had his sympathetic moments. This guy . . . none. Even if this Kody is not "real", as is the case in Reality TV, could he possibly think anyone would want to partner with him in any business endeavor or embark on an emotional relationship with him? I get the spiritual wives, even the dark wife. But Kody Brown, new level arrogance/ego/stupidity.

Even tho he was the President of the Las Vegas cul de sac HOA, realistically, he could never run for politics, not that this would stop him. His reality is at a different level than most and has drastically changed from when he first approached the AUB about his documentary show.

I imagine him dancing into some guys office to sell him ad space on a billboard after 10 years of negative publicity. Guess he's stuck with MLM's.
