  1. I didn't watch the video, but just looking at him in that pic grosses me out!
  2. With all of these updates, I am beginning to feel that honestly at this point Nugget is an angel. He sacrificed his life, and has most likely saved at least one of those kids. Not that I would ever ask a pet to be treated this way, and obviously his death was not by choice, but I am very amazed at how much has actually happened since the incident. Usually they get away with everything--I have no words on how surprised I am.
  3. I am guessing it could be that they have just been waiting for something to happen to justify taking some of the children out of the house, and now they had something. I know it is hard to free children from this kind of home, but it sounds like many in the area are scared of the creep and he just hadn't gone far enough YET. Now he is showing signs of a deep descent.... I was shocked to see the news on Kaiser, and so happy!
  4. I think you have a good point, but I was glad to hear that he wasn't on board with what his dad did. I am sure he values his life, but I also know he takes the deaths of other people very personally and is well aware he has a dangerous job. So I can see him feeling like he does not want to be the person that caused someone else's death directly in that way. (esp since the other relationship involved was a father / son one as well-- he is basically saying that relationship and those people were just as important)
  5. That is funny about the Gaines-- between N & J and the Gaines, they all do so much of that plain, earthy stuff. I do like some of their rooms, but it gets so old over time when there are so many different color palettes you could use to achieve the same effect. I won't watch Fixer Upper for this reason--it is like a repeat of a repeat episode over and over.
  6. Go Poppy! She just told her parents she doesn’t like white rooms. Lol. I am so over all of these white rooms in the design world. So I am with you Poppy!
  7. That guy is creepy, and that was a sad episode.
  8. It has been renewed! I am happy to hear this... https://tvline.com/2019/05/09/macgyver-renewed-season-4-cbs/
  9. Yes, that is a good thing. They just lost direction too many times.
  10. I personally found it annoying that Barry accomplished all he did, and they had him come back as if he just stepped away from high school two minutes ago (in regard to his lack of maturity). And I just wasn't buying that he would be stupid enough to interrupt her planned event--Barry is stupid, but not that stupid. I enjoyed the JTP, and parts of the other interactions with the teachers. But I still loathe the sappy little statements they make at the end of each episode in this show. It just doesn't fit the school environment as much as it does the family environment in the Goldbergs, imo.
  11. I kind of think it is partly for them to see the struggle that they are causing themselves. And it requires they keep asking for money, and maybe she hopes that in the end they will have some desire to stop that cycle. (though of course that will never happen)
  12. Did you all see Wes--wow, Jillian is probably very glad that didn't work out. (I think it was Jillian's season). lol
  13. Yes, I mean, Mac should be with someone. He is ridiculously cute 🙂 Though I understand as a viewer it is hard to watch the show go there given how that usually turns out.
  14. I liked the episode but agree. She has no reason to help him after how he seemed so ungrateful for her previous help, and of course how easily he moved on.
  15. Yep, this will be like every other Janelle story. It will blow right over, and she will continue to get the big bucks to stay on the show. It sucks, but it is true.
  16. I love the Goldberg's but yes, if they are going to recycle this storyline any further, I would have to agree. I think there are many more things they can cover, so it doesn't have to be done--it is just up to the writers to be more creative. That all said, I actually side with the kids on these storylines. I think Beverly is getting what she deserves to some degree. We all know the kids would be nicer if they didn't feel forced to overdo it. Not that you should be mean to your mom, but she doesn't make it easy to be nice either.
  17. I haven't finished the episode yet, but I don't think if they aren't really aging up Lainey, that they need to age up Erica or Barry. In fact, I thought the Erica thing was over the top and unnecessary. Lainey looks pretty much the same and they don't seem to be doing anything to her to make her older for this show.
  18. I thought the episode pretty much sucked. We have been there, done that with the whole Beverly on Mothers Day thing. I just don’t care. As for the college thing, that story was weak too.
  19. My understanding is that she will only pay for things like the kids school, and living costs like probably their home, etc. she isn’t paying their debt obviously, and doesn’t pay for the frivolous things.
  20. I totally agree with you. But the vacation does bother me some because she has a lot of followers that know she is deep in debt, and then she flaunts these crazy expensive things with no sense of responsibility to those that follow her, etc. She doesn't owe them anything, but as you said what she really is, is a 40 something begging for money to pay her bills--so given that, it does look pretty foolish to go to the resorts that she does on a regular basis. But yes, she is not in a good position, and I have no desire to live her life!
  21. It gets really annoying to see the repeated articles about their various financial offenses, and it all ends up the same--nothing happens. I could even be remotely okay with that IF she wasn't parading around in the media on things that obviously cost money. The fact that they aren't doing a better job of getting a hold of that money is really crappy considering normal folks get far worse treatment and can barely afford to live, much less go on 20 vacations a year.
  22. I do really hate when they mess with fans for the reason you state. I hate when we have to change light fixtures, and I would hate for someone to remove my fan, when I know a fan of some kind would be going right back up--and therefore cause me the work of having to do it. In our house the fans were there. I would actually like to have a fan in the other bedroom but haven't felt up to doing it yet. And in the end, even if the fan isn't fancy it doesn't ruin their design. I don't look up at our ceiling fan when I look at our room. And I would prefer function in this case over looks. That said if someone replaced it with a nicer fan, that would be okay. lol
  23. I have mixed feelings about the episode. On the one hand I was shocked at how simple and tasteful the rooms were, but on the other hand they were so simple that I felt like in some ways I couldn't really tell that a designer did either room. Meaning the homeowners could have easily done their own rooms, and chosen some actual color if they wanted it. I am sure a lot of it for me is the white walls--I am over everything being white walls in home magazines the last year or so. I just find it boring. I did hate the blue chairs though...they were ugly. I also thought that the tissue paper technique only proved that Hildi likes to just simply ruin walls to some degree, as it didn't really add anything to the room, and in typical Hildi fashion created a future problem for the homeowners.
  24. Yeah, I think the show has jumped the ship. Noone cares about Kelly, and she is on too much. The petty concerns of Kristen's employees, as well as having their boyfriends on the show as if we care.... Honestly I mainly watch the scenes with Kristen and Jay, and forward through the rest.
