  1. Emphatically agree! Age appropriate Psych/Med screening might be ok.
  2. The good: The art direction is beautiful! There were some scenes that made me feel like I did when I saw Avatar for the first time. The bad: The story telling could stand some improvement. The episode drags. Did they really need to use as many flashbacks, instead of just more of a straight forward narrative? How where we supposed to know how the pieces of the robot fit together? Or even that the the robot was stuck? Would it have been so hard for Will to say, "What's the matter boy, are you stuck in the tree?". The final resting spot of the ship was far more unrealistic than it needed to be, but whatever, it's LIS... If they couldn't get back in the ship after getting out, how did all that equipment get out? One minor nitpick: During the descent, the altimeter clearly displays meters, but audibly reports in feet. Highpoint: Seeing Bill Mummy as Smith, although I would have totally missed that, if it wasn't for the eagle-eyed forum posters here. Thanks!
  3. Is there anyone with a Naval Medical Corps background aboard? Blair's bio says: "I am taking a few years away from surgery residency to serve as an active duty doctor in the Navy." Does anyone know how that works? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_Corps_%28United_States_Navy%29 I am wondering how common is it for someone in an active duty program like this to be exused for the almost four weeks the Race requires. Casual google stalking shows no indication of his rank.
