  1. Wow Meri seems to have gain a few extra pounds. The girls with no shoes - they were probably just finished wading in the surf.
  2. At the time of moving to Vegas, things seemed to be equally split between wives. Houses, money, time, etc. I think Christine, Janelle and Robyn may have gotten a bit more grocery money. So Meri was able to give Mariah more in the way of material things, than say Christine was able to give her kids. All attention was on Mariah in that house. When Kody came over, Mariah didn't have to fight for his attention. She wasn't raised to think of herself as part of the larger picture, but that she was special. Of course she expected to be able to go to a high priced private school - why wouldn't she? I think when she came out, some of her siblings (and adults) weren't as supportive as they could have been. She ruled that house with Meri, and instead of, deespite, warning her mom about the catfishing, she has chosen to scold her, alienate her, and get Kody to side with her. Kody was already alienated from Meri, so he could care less - the catfishing only gave him an excuse to be more obvious about it. Meri is no more a part of the family than a distant aunt who happens to live nearby. Until CP is settled she'll stay around for a payout. I suspect she spends a lot of time crying to Jen how unfair things are for her.
  3. Meri never got along with Janelle or Christine. The kids all adore Christine, and Janelle acknowledges her contribution to raising the kids. Meri has always been difficult, and then she think she will have a "true" friend in Robyn . . . 2 against 2. She thought she had something to hang over Robyn's head - but didn't turn out how she planned. Meri alienated her only child, and it doesn't seem any of the other kids care whether or not she's around. Janelle's kids came to Christines during Covid. They expressed their feelings clearly over where would everyone spend Thanksgiving. Meri was the treated like the "old lady" neighbor who Kody & Robyn felt sorry for, so asked her over. No matter what daily affirmations she has, she's one lonely woman, with nobody in her life. She gloms on to Jen, or people in LLR, but day to day, she's on her own, with nobody in that huge family checking in on her, wanting to see her, checking on her. Now, she further down the ladder with Christine leaving with her head held high, family that surrounds her, and adores her. Meri could possibly have had fan support had she left first. But now, she would just be copying.
  4. In Sept 2021 Janelle registered a new retail business NTYK LLC with AZ Sec of State The location is a space at 809 W. Riordan Rd. Flagstaff AZ . Janelle is the main "agent", but Christine, Kody, Robyn & Meri are all listed as 5 company contacts. This is an office building, renting for $2,000 per month. Questions. 1) How can they afford to rent yet another space. 2) what are they selling? Plexus?), and why would all their names be associated. Riordan Mill Center is the complex. They are listed in Suite 100. But what shows up for that is a Mail Box Plus , pack 'n ship, franchise.
  5. When a "fan" took those pics of Robyn and Kody in a mall in Sedona, Roby's hair was lighter, not in the tight ringlets, makeup done and she was dressed in more flattering clothes. I think her look for the interview was on purpose to look dowdy, dated and more "poor me" .
  6. Cataract surgery is a breeze. Life changing. No pain, one day recovery. I had a fast growing cataract four years ago, then the other eye. Came home from first surgery, looked around my living room and said "OMG who picked out this paint color". It is the easiest surgery with the biggest impact. You will be fine, and have a whole new view of the worl.
  7. Janelle posted this today. I bet Robyn is screaming "It should be me, I can make a relish tray". But nice to see Janelle support Christine.
  8. I think it was to point out that she's remaining faithful to their religion and could be judgemental based on the religion. She was, in an awful, not subtle way, trying to say Christine gave up not only Kody but her religious beliefs. She wanted to look "sweet" and pious.
  9. She went out of her way to look "prim" and matronly. From the ringlets to the 1970's polyester blouse, and notice the black flat shoes. She was telegraphing that she is the proper plyg wife.
  10. When Kody told Suki he didn't want to talk about Christine, they broke away. When they came back - scene was cameras getting ready, and you can hear Kody apologize to Suki "I'm sorry I walked away, I wasn't angry with you". Now that would have been something worth filming.
  11. TLC just announced Christine will have her own digital series @TLC.com - Cooking with Just Christine. New episodes every Sunday on FB or streaming @TLC
  12. I honestly suspect that Kody kept daily journals of every disobedient wife's actions. Every slight, every single time he felt disrespected by one of the wives or one of the kids. Wrote them down with times and dates. So, all those boxes in Christine's garage when she moved him, marked Kody's books, were probably just those journals.
  13. TLC dropped a new sneak peak on FB. OMG Clearly Kody & Robyn rehearsed. Robyn says she found fractures in the family once she married Kody. It seems, in her judgemental mind, they never dealt with issues, or "they didn't know how" "didn't have the "tools" to do it. In other words she felt duped, was clearly the only one who knows the proper way to fix fractures in relationships (except her first marriage), self-righteousness oozing out of her. Kody comes on to say "They" were on their best behavior when he was courting Robyn. It was obvious they had agreed on a story to make the other wives seem totally to blame. UGH!
  14. We purchased a home in a planned subdivision to use as a rental. 4 different floor plans, but all about the same size. An original buyer had backed out, but he already put in $40K worth of upgrades that we didn't have to pay extra for, but we did add a patio in back, and shutters for all the windows. The agent for the property made an error in something, and my agent said we were inconvenienced and they needed to do something to compensate us. We got that 12K worth of shutters for free!!!
  15. Janelle used to manage the finances. She realized that the Lehi house would not accommodate Robyn and her three kids meant making the money go further to allow for a rental away from the Lehi house. Stretching the budget even further. She also may have known that Robyn was bring with her a $38K debt from her divorce, and absolutely no assets. So what actually was she adding to the "family"?
  16. Why did Robyn say "I would help any one of those kids have a conversation with their dad, TRY TO MAKE IT SAFE FOR THEM". How horrible a man is he that his kids (not just Garrison and Gabe) don't feel safe having a conversation with their father! I got from that the kids talked to Robyn, she told them talk to your dad - and they said all he does is blame and yell.
  17. She should have used the old acting trick of putting a slice of onion in the tissue.
  18. It was interesting to see how careful Meri & Janelle were when speaking about Robyn. They don't want to be friends, family or really have any kind of relationship, but what they seem to want to avoid is any wrath of Kody that they aren't being nice to her or respecting her. I thought Christine was very kind in what she chose to say. Kody & Robyn seem to have rehearsed and planned for this interview. Kody was going to get the words obey, loyalty, respect in as many times as possible. And determined not to take any blame or even partial responsibility for his family falling apart. And how nice of him to take this opportunity to tell the world that he no longer loves, cares for, or want relationships with women who have been with him 25+ years. Wow. Robyn came armed to be the victim. Fake cry, stall from answering, and not understanding why the other wives don't want to be her friend. She is in Kody's ear, and I'm sure her constant refrain is the kids and their mothers don't respect you.
  19. Robyn doesn't seem to understand that Meri, Janelle & Christine had a foundation - as disfunctional as it was - well before she came along. So Robyn enters the pic, a divorced woman, in debt, with three kids, and not understanding the basic rules of "courtship". There is physically no place for her at the Utah house. When they got to Vegas it was further separation - and the other wives were dealing with their own kids, getting them settled, in school, finding rentals. There was no time, or energy to form this magical bond Robyn thought would happen naturally. With the exception of Janelle & Christine - and that had a lot to do with co parenting all the kids when they were little - these women aren't friends. Kody put aside, as usual, any recognition of what it takes to blend a family. He was, and continues to be angry that "they" aren't nice and friendly to Robyn. He and she want to blame everyone else. Their anger at the other wives is overwhelming, and if they lose the TLC income it will blow away any remaining contact with the extended family. If you don't make Robyn your friend, and if you don't go out of your way to make Robyn's kids feel included, then you are no longer part of this family.
  20. Janelle doesn't seem to have a great deal of motivation to do anything other than stay. Leaving would require planning, dealing with financial arrangements, etc. Right now she can just hang out at home, go out if she wants, and have very little interaction with Kody - which seems to suit her fine. Except for Christine, she clearly doesn't want to put the effort into having day to day friendship/interaction with Robyn or Meri. When Robyn suggested they "work" on their relationship, Janelle looked like she would rather have a root canal. Kody will care less what she does - as long as it doesn't involve putting even the least demand on him. Christine left because she wanted a better/different life. Janelle is perfectly happy with life as it is - without any of the latest drama.
  21. My husband and I have a plan. Whoever goes first, the other takes the urn (or box) to the house, but also plop it in the car for a ride now and then, go to the beach, hang out in the garden, etc. Stay "home", then when the other goes, their ashes go into the same urn (box). Our kids have agreed to keep them for a year, then decide what to do with us. Whatever they decide, we will be together. My brother just died, and his wife put his ashes in a biodegradable urn, and they are going to kayak out into the bay and let it float away. Wish I could be there for that.
  22. Meri has never met a motivational quote she doesn't like. Post them, buys a sign for her house, wear a tee shirt, etc. She doesn't take any of them to heart, but seems to think just getting them will make her stronger, etc. Why bother to take a serious look at your situation, stop blaming others and take responsibility, when buying yet another sign will do it all for you.
  23. Wow, I have whiplash from trying to understand Meri. You stay for the family, but the ONLY people in the family interested in seeing you are Robyn's kids (and then only the young ones). I bet before this she got together with Robyn and promised not to say anything negative about her, but just wait, she will throw Christine under the bus. She's staying only for the TLC money, and her share of the property. If they sell or the property is repossessed, and the show is cancelled, she's gone. I question whether she shares any of her B&B money, or LLR money with "the family" - I would say no. Kody is going to treat her like a distant aunt - have a place in the far end of the property, but not include her in anything. He's going to use Janelle's kids as a reason to distance further from her. He really is a pig in shoes. Divorce goes against his religion and conscience, but he married a woman who is divorced, and he divorced his first wife. Oh, I get it - it just matters if its the other wives, just not Robyn.
  24. I think she purposely dressed down, and matronly for the interview. Her hair was in tight curls - no fluff. She wanted to look more "religious", and following the "culture" they built. She has repeatedly said the other wives blame her, so by looking dowdy, and beaten down she conveyed a sense of being beaten down, and oh so worried. Notice that it is definitely not the same type of clothes/hair she was seen in while out shopping/dining with Kody. It's all an act. Victim look.
  25. Robyn looked like she was trying to look like a plyg wife - modest, old fashion, hair modestly tightly curled. She was trying hard to look like the only wife who is respectful, and fits in with this culture. Not anything like the pics we have seen of her out shopping, or out to dinner with Kody. Victim dressing.
