  1. I think the books mention that electricity/technology tends to mask the presence of ghosts from investigators. The intro has a scene of smashed computers so maybe tech also agitates ghosts? I have to admit that I love seeing people doing research in libraries and archives instead of google
  2. Can we talk about comparisons to the books in the episode threads? Or should talk of the books be restricted to a specific comparison topic?
  3. That was awful - just a waste of good actors. Felt like it was inspired by Stranger Things but written and executed incredibly badly
  4. After meeting Nora, I would think Iris would do everything she could to avoid getting pregnant. I just started watching again after bailing midway through the Season of Nora . I'm doing a rewatch to catch up and I think I might skip that season.
  5. I’m pretty sure the previous version of this site had a Eureka topic because I remember posting on it when the show was airing. It was a good time. I just finished a rewatch and I’d forgotten how much I loved this show. It really was excellent.
  6. Neither. Is neither an option? If not, FrankenDrew - even with the Deliverance accent.
  7. Valentin is just as milquetoast as Michael. The Red-headed Menace version of Michael was scarier than both of them
  8. I'm probably not going to get to a place where I hate Kim or FrankenDrew enough to want Franco back. Not even if there's a fire.
  9. I mean, that's basically what they did with the tumor excuse.
  10. A mistake? Or is the current Valentin an imposter? If it's door number two, that would be equally woeful miscasting. Tad Martin is not scary I wholeheartedly approve of current Valentin being exposed as an imposter, but replacing him with MK would be just as bad. Now, Vincent Irizarry? Yes. That would work. MK should be Dr. Jeff Webber.
  11. He'd still be very wealthy. And stories about him trying to figure out how to live without the mob and protecting his family from the consequences of his long criminal career couldn't be more terrible than the Sopranos Lite nonsense
  12. i think there could have been much more drama in Sonny trying to go straight when he got out of jail. I mean, probably not with FV and his various HWs (their idea for non-mobJason was a media company) but potentially. GH did it with Luke and with Duke - and they're not writing mob stories for Sonny anyway
  13. Sam and Liz used to be allowed to do it - but it was always over Jason, so.....
  14. I think, Kim or no, his leaving town was the mitigating factor I don't think either of those things is a legit reason to have someone committed.
  15. I think the only people in GH history who have paid for their crimes were Blackie Parrish, Steven Webber and Matt Hunter
  16. I really, really like the idea that Drew's memories are being filtered through Franco's instincts/Id. It's a great explanation for the differences between Drew/Franco and Jason/Drew. It explains everything except the accent - nothing explains the accent. Having said that, I'd still rather keep FrankenDrew. He's a better character for RoHo, and that matters if we're stuck with him. He can fall in love with Liz without the stalking and dog cages and they can raise the bebe that he for sure just created with Kim, who will probably be Heather's roommate in Ferncliff by this time next year.
  17. I do think it was telling that FrankenDrew apparently knows about the brain tumor and he still has no interest in being Franco
  18. Sorry, you're right - the Navy Seal that was helping Shiloh steal the money died at the time
  19. But that's also Jason. Shiloh was also a Navy Seal. They're not a monolith. That is true, Franco is obsessive and selfish - but that doesn't mean that real Drew, with all of his memories, isn't.
  20. Sure, legally and physically Drew is Drew Cain - but he has 20 years of Jason Morgan's memories, 1 year of memories as Jake Doe, 2 years of memories he created when he believed he was Jason, and 2 years of memories he created using the name Drew Cain once he accepted that he wasn't Jason. From what we know about Andrew Cain, he: was never adopted; spent a few years as a foster child in a dysfunctional, chaotic household with Franco, Betsy and her child molester boyfriend; grew up in the foster care system; knew about Jason Q's life; didn't develop any close friendships during school or in the Navy Seals and his only significant romantic connection was with Kim. Real Drew doesn't seem to have any connection to that history, and he let go of Jason's. He has the relationships that he built as Jake/Jason/Drew but his personality seems more like Jake Doe than like someone with Drew Cain's history or Jason Morgan's memories. I think he wasn't getting any direction/background so Drew Cain was more or less Billy Miller.
  21. Well, Drew with Jason's memories was indifferent to her. The man walking around with Drew's memories seems to feel as strongly about her as she feels about him. She wasn't wrong. Of course, the fact that she wasn't wrong about their feelings doesn't excuse her current behavior.
  22. But he's not delusional. He knows that he's not legally/physically Drew. He knows about Franco, he just does not want Franco's life or his memories. And I don't think anyone has the right to force him to undergo Andre's treatment. Does Jason have the right to force Drew to give up his memories of Jason's life and take his own memories back even though that would fundamentally change who he is? I don't think he does. Same thing applies to the DID analogy. The family can try to convince the person to get treatment, but if they're not hurting themselves or others, can the family force them into treatment? Especially a treatment that's potentially harmful?
