  1. Oh, god, I don't know, but broken bones take 6 weeks to heal no matter your age. I'm sure it's been much longer than that! Complete atrophy, which should be disgusting by now. Time for some serious PT on that wrist. I wish they'd remove it since it was never explained and never commented on. It's obviously a prop, that thing can slide right off and on.
  2. It's hard to say. Christine's heart was in the right place (it usually is), but Martha is one sad sack doormat with no sense of humor nor ability to play along. A raging wet blanket. Does she have any interests whatsoever? Should have never gone to Vegas in the first place and should have just gone back to the room and let Christine go to the club with the girls. She did finally stand up for herself and it's true, Christine doesn't always listen. I hated that she stuck up for Dale, though. Dale is one rotten piece of crap.
  3. I don't think we'll ever get back the magic that was season 1. That was "must see TV." Last season and this are more like "when/if I get around to it."
  4. Unfortunately, it was already renewed for a second season before the first premiered: http://deadline.com/2017/10/alone-together-renewed-season-2-freeform-lonely-island-esther-povitsky-benji-aflalo-1202190512/ Sorry, but I don't care for the show. Vapid, shallow, neurotic characters we're supposed to root for? Ester plays pretty much the same character on My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. No obvious range.
  5. Shoulda been Loving Vincent, which was brilliant, but I knew it would go to Coco.
  6. Seriously! I think they must draw most of their contestants from a base that thinks Chipotle is "too exotic." I know a lot of people who can't cook, but have fairly discerning palates! Glad Lacey is gone, I guess she must feed her family lunchables and cold spagettios. And Titi -- that tutu was a fire hazard looking for a place to happen. I'm surprised they let her in the kitchen wearing it. ?
  7. He said in an interview, I think it was in the first season, that he is channeling his mother and a few other female relatives. Whatever it is, he's brilliant and it's probably going to be his greatest role ever.
  8. I thought Chip was exceptionally douche-y to Martha over Thanksgiving Dinner, especially when he just stood up and left. I was glad the "clouns" called him on his "Renoir" costume and made him burn it. I guess it was cultural appropriation that offended them, plus it was incredibly dated! I'm so glad Christine had a nice Thanksgiving in the end. She really should have spent it with Ken and his family. At least they treat her right, unlike her dumb-ass kids (all 4 of them).
  9. This movie is 30 years old. It was dark and campy in its day, but hasn't held up over the years. Too many school killings, violence, and bullyings have taken place. I watched this 10 years ago and made that observation. Ten more years and look where we are today. I can't watch this movie ever again.
  10. The whole series (Tudor, Victorian, Edwardian, etc.) has been up on You Tube for a long time: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhJOul3n978 And, yes, it does cover the poisonous green dye and wallpaper.
  11. I don't know. I'm sort of cringe-watching this season. Maybe I'm too old for this brand of humor or something. Still think the Beatrice/Frederick twincest is pretty funny, though. I hope we haven't lost Peepers for good, I think he was my favorite.
  12. Good interview, but one big mistake they made: Louie already had 2 Emmys from his animated show "Life with Louie" way back in the day.
  13. I totally agree. Buttload of cats is funnier than fuckton.
  14. Yes, but here she's the Queen and not trying to supplant The Doctor, so it can be overlooked a bit. Martha was my favorite companion and Clara the least. Donna least fav before Clara, but I know I skew outside the norm!
  15. This episode is so far the best and most affecting in the entire series. Gripping and really drove home the horrors of the Potato Famine and the British attitude toward the Irish. Heart wrenching to say the least. I've begun to soften toward Jenna Coleman. While I still can't abide her role on Doctor Who, I am starting to appreciate her as an actress, at least in this role. I know! Who'd a thunk it?
  16. Nick, upon getting his foot caught in a bear trap: "I just keep discovering bold new frontiers of suck."
  17. Ah, but like Bryan Cranston, Meloni loves getting naked, so you probably won't have to wait long for the next vision. Such a bizarre show, but it's so entertaining in a very strange way. I agree that it will be difficult to keep the premise going. I only wonder, who will Happy end up with? Hailey or Sax or both?
  18. I have set a custom setting on my tv (which is about 8-9 years old, so most tvs should have that function by now) that I've adjusted for "dark" shows and I just switch to that. It really helps a lot and you can actually see a lot more. And an outdoorsman and Rough Rider! Although, the glasses were a bit of a giveaway!
  19. Martha has lower self-esteem than anyone I've seen on TV (other than abused wives on Lifetime).
  20. Hooray! Mrs. Baskets is back. I love Christine, but I want to slap Chip & Dale silly. It's amazing they managed to live this long. I think Louie could carry the entire show by himself, if he hasn't already.
