  1. Going back to the previous episode, is it just me or did Kyra look disappointed that Will did not ask her to be his girlfriend during their date? She came back, trying to be cheerful with the girls and that she is on the same page as him, but she looked super bummed to me. She definitely likes Will more than he likes her.
  2. If I were Blake, I would be concerned that my fiance is so determined to get her #girlboss moment by spending that much energy on her ex and indirectly embarrassing me in the process. ETA: oh and I will also be concerned that he/she will do the same to me if we were to break up and end on bad terms. Those are red flags.
  3. Lol you hit the nail on the head. She should have at least ACTED like she was unbothered.
  4. Now that Olivia has taken over the title of Queen Bee in the villa, she is unbearable. Unfortunately for her, Korey is not into her, especially since she (over)shares as usual that he is the one asking to slow down the physical intimacy. At least she is aware that her talking non-stop about herself is a turn-off to some people. Korey is so vapid too, so listening to both of them "talk" is painful. Not Trina trying to fish info from Charlie to use as ammunition against him with the girls. She and Olivia sure are petty.
  5. We all think we are the protagonist in our story but Cash sometimes take it too far, not considering other people's feelings. In one of the earlier episodes, I remember Cash confronting Trina about how "disrespectful" she was for going behind her back to pursue Cinco. But later down the road, Cash did the same thing to Trina. Within the context of the game/show, I think neither was wrong nor "disrespectful" for doing it both times. So I didn't like how Cash or some contestants throw around the word "disrespectful" without understanding what it actually means and when they actually meant the person did something they did not like. Lol. Another time Cash was also wrapped up in her own drama and being insensitive was when she kept talking about her dilemma between Charlie and Cinco TO Charlie. No one in Charlie's position wants to hear that! Charlie even told her directly that he was tired of their conversation surrounding Cinco, but Cash didn't get the hint, because once again she was only focused on what was going on with her. Nor did she get the hint that Cinco was never truly into her. If he really liked her, he would not have done ALL that. Cash seems like a fun and sweet friend, that you can count on to be sympathetic and hype you up when you need it. And she is good at expressing herself so that is part of her charm. If you are willing to endure all the drama and self-absorbedness in the long run, I guess.
  6. Even in recent seasons, there is Luke P. in Hannah B's season, and Yoseph from Clare's season who berated and belittled her. Greg would not even make the top 20 in the bad behaviour list for me in all of Bachelor franchise history. 😆
  7. That was my favorite part of the episode. This man doesn't open his mouth much but when he does, it's truth bombs everywhere. He's my favorite Islander now, so hope he won't disappoint me! Both Alana and Charlie seem more mature than the rest. Where was Cash? Was she not feeling well? If she was unwell, I hope she gets better but I also enjoyed not having her drama around for an episode. I was so sorry to hear about Josh's sister. What a devastating news, I can't even imagine. Even if Shannon was not into him romantically, they have formed a bond or friendship during their time on the island, so I think she was sincere in leaving with him. For some reason, the way Elly speaks turns me off. She almost sounds like a tween, especially when she called K-Ci "lame" for not having been to Chicago. I know she was teasing but it's like something a pre-teen would say.
  8. Cash playing the victim again. She still refuses to accept that what turned Charlie off is her flirting with and considering Cinco and always bringing him up during their chats. Lol. I can't with Olivia trying to start drama with Charlie at the kitchen. And good for him for not falling for the bait.
  9. I have came to the conclusion that Cash loves drama and loves starring in her own soap opera, giving grand monologues. The way she talks about her men in dramatic fashion, how Cinco and her could have an exciting beautiful life together; like he's the star-crossed lover of her dreams. Then with Charlie like how he is THE prince charming, the one she has been waiting for all her life. Relax lady, you know the guy for 4 days. And now she is starting a new drama of how she deserves better. If I were Charlie, I would find it a big red flag that Cash is speaking about how much she sacrificed for him. If letting Cinco go was such a big sacrifice (like somehow Charlie owes her), she should have left with him. No wonder Cash and Olivia are besties. Both of them love to wax poetic about themselves and they go around doing it to everyone in the villa. Surely all of them are tired of listening to it. How many times did Olivia talk about her Korey situation to different groups of people in this episode alone? Lol. I feel like Korey will always end up in a friendzone somehow on the show. Perhaps he has a really immature side to him that is turning the ladies off. There have been a number of new girls (including Florita) who came in excited to know him but it never turns romantic. Olivia is deluding herself into thinking she likes him in such a way too. Alana appears too smart for this crowd.
  10. The producers can encourage what kind of behaviour they want but they can't control the lead 100%. Tayshia basically told Zac, her F1, "I love you too" during their fantasy suite date. She had a traditional ending to her season and still came out unscathed. Also whenever Zac told her he loves her or falling in love with her, she never stared blankly like Katie. She always responded in a giddy or reciprocal way. That shows to me that Katie (whether she knows it herself or not) has mentally checked out in her relationship with Greg. Maybe it's just pure Bachelorette fatigue she's feeling at the end of the season, but I could understand how it must have looked like from Greg's end.
  11. I actually think this is it. He liked the version of Katie he had in his mind but that illusion broke by her vapid response during their last date conversation. Perhaps because he was more emotionally charged in that moment, he found the difference in their emotional involvement very jarring. She also kept using Bachelor-speak in her conversations with him. "Number 1", "fight for us", "receive a rose", "trust the process", "it's going to get harder", etc. Which is fine in the context of the show but I just think he has reached a point where he couldn't take it anymore and he sees Katie for who she is, just someone playing the role of the Bachelorette and didn't find that attractive anymore. Neither one truly loved each other. So it's not a big loss. It might also be too soon for Greg to sign up for reality TV. He was still in the toughest parts of grieving and thus not emotionally stable to handle it.
  12. I have no sympathy for Will for the tongue lashing he got from Shannon. It's obvious they are not each other's biggest fan just by the way they started their conversation, but HE chose to approach her to get some explanation of who the girls saved. She didn't seek him out to attack him. And his unhappiness over who was saved is misplaced if you ask me. The girls actually saved him, so he should be grateful. He should be questioning his bros instead why they chose to save Jeremy (who has no real connections) over him. Kyra and his relationship is their business but he went to Shannon and opened an opportunity for her to give her opinion. That's all on him.
  13. Fair enough. But if Kyra's my friend, I wouldn't encourage her relationship with Will too. He's such a bullshiter, IMO.
  14. To be fair to Shannon, even though I doubt she cares that much about Kyra, she would be going just as hard (or even harder!) at Josh if he has done what Will did to Kyra, so she is not being a hypocrite about it.
  15. I agree. And Love Island (even the UK version) is kinder to the contestants with the edits than the US Bachelor franchise. Love Island do less editing and franken-biting for the contestants characters as they do not have as much time to craft a storyline as much as the Bachelor. I think it's okay to keep the same formula because it's all in the casting for me. That's what makes or breaks this show. Characters like Jeremy, Olivia, Kyra or even Korey adds little to the storyline, so it's boring.
  16. So strange that the OGs who are also there for Instagram followers are having (or pretending to have) issues with Leslie and Genny being into social media. Leslie and Genny sure do seem immature but I can't deal with the OGs acting holier-than-thou. After Will's own immaturity in Casa Amor, I would also prefer him to be quiet. Kyra and Shannon are on two extreme ends. Shannon will crack down on Josh for the slightest things and never really let him off the hook, whereas Kyra seems like a pushover. It's fine she chose to forgive Will about what happened in Casa Amor, but she didn't even give him the third degree to find out why he did it. She just quietly accepted it. Who is the real Trina? She came on so strong in the beginning of the season, wheeling and dealing and now all her self-esteem seems to have wasted away. I'd respect Leslie and/or Genny if they choose to leave after that showdown. For mental health reasons, it just isn't worth it to put up with Shannon. Or Cash or Olivia, since they are all one clique. And L&G are never going to win anyway. Same for Trina.
  17. Cash has became 100% delusional. When she was giving that speech that she probably learnt from rom coms, Cinco sat there with his eyes glazed over. He had no reaction at all until the end when he gave her a grunt and a slight smile. It's hilarious. Cash really thinks she's the protagonist in a low budget rom com. I mean, I guess since this is a TV show but I haven't seen anyone laying on that thick on Love Island (in all versions) in a long time.
  18. About the Isaiah drama, I thought it was just Shannon trying to stir up trouble and kill Cash's buzz about Isaiah. Also some jealousy involved as Isaiah was into her initially. But after the kiss with Cash, he hasn't looked her way at all and that's probably annoying her. She and Trina are similar to me, they think or have been the hottest ones in the room for most of their lives and can't fathom when others who are less attractive (in their minds) are getting more attention. I'm also side-eyeing Kyra and Shannon for going "yas girl!" when Trina told them smugly that he has chosen her. They don't have your best interests and are not your "friends", Cash.
  19. The sexy times on this show is the least sexy thing I've seen. I fast-forwarded them all because they are so boring and a drag to the storyline. No sensuality whatsoever. Is it because Billie doesn't have chemistry with both Brad and Cooper or are they just badly shot and choreographed? Lol. Speaking of storyline, a whole season passed and Billie still has no clue what she actually wanted. She just wants what she can't have. Her friend Sasha has a lot of patience for her, I've to say. Brad is abusive, plain and simple. The classic abuser move with the tears and apologies after. That's how they rope you into the toxic cycle. How has no one in Billie's life pointed it out to her?
  20. Yeah it's dumb of them to admit it. Also dumb to admit that they have not considered anything for season 2 and is just starting to brainstorm now since it got renewed. This showrunner may be too "honest", lol. Just say you are working on it and it's gonna exciting and go.
  21. I liked the show better before reading the showrunner or writers' takes. LOL. Unfortunately, they don't seem to know what they are doing fully. They should have either embraced Jeanette being psycho or not go there at all.
  22. This. And I would also have to disagree with the suggestions that all teens are a little bit of sociopaths and that explains Jeanette's behaviour. Maybe some of the shady behavior but definitely not most of them, including stopping to smile after hearing Kate's cry for help. Most teens would have 1) try to open the basement door impulsively to investigate further where the cry for help is coming from or is what they heard even real. 2) run away in panic at first but later spilling it to their parents or siblings what they saw because they were so shakened by it and don't know what to do. Not stand there and smile like Jeanette did.
  23. I thought of this too. He was always trying to guilt trip her about her ruining his life, when he was actually ruining hers. And he made a big suicide speech but didn't/ couldn't go through with it because it is just another manipulation tactic of his. That particular scene with "Disarm" and the final scene with "Creep" are covers sung by Olivia Holt. Such well-produced covers, I hope they'd upload the full versions somewhere.
  24. Did I miss it where they said she called in a tip?
  25. Jeanette was telling Kate the truth when she told Kate that all she ever wanted was to know how it felt like to be in the spotlight/popular like Kate. Kate probably didn't expect to what extent Jeanette was willing to go in order for that to happen or how crazy she was. Unfortunately for Jeanette, throughout the show, it has been made clear (at least to me) that people are drawn to Kate because she is kind and gracious. Kate and Mallory's conversation at the therapist office summed it up for me. Mallory: Can I confess something? I used to really dislike you, like a lot. Kate: I don't hear that very often. Mallory: Yeah, I'm starting to get why. I am glad for the slight twist at the end, if not this episode was going to be such a let down and predictable.
