  1. Yes, this is a terribly titled TV show.
  2. It is a testament to my inability to tell many characters apart that I thought one of the 20/30-something characters in this trailer died last season. I stubbornly refuse to learn their names.
  3. I've watched the first 3 (we have the first 5) and it's... kinda... not firing on all cylinders yet.
  4. I picked up Sandman and I'm just through issue 1 or maybe 2. Loving it. Thanks.
  5. iPhones in garbage disposals do not slow down audio like a Walkman running out of batteries.
  6. I f'ed up the name of the game. It was "IF It's Funny Once" not "It's Funny Once". Derp.
  7. Ahhhhhhh that was goooooood. Tara might have squeed at the ending.
  8. This is the 4th time someone mentioned that Hawkeye series to me so I'll have to check it out. I'm not generally into the capes and cowls stuff either.
  9. Oh I forgot I did read Maus when it came out. That it came from a Wacky Packages guy is a bit of a mind fuck.
  10. So I've been reading comics on my iPad recently and loving it. As I posted, I've read a lot of Dark Horse Star Wars comics but I've pretty much caught up now and I'm branching out but I need some suggestions. This is what I've read: Watchmen (read this before the movie came out and absolutely loved it!) From Hell (hate hate hated it) Dark Knight Returns (great) Preacher book 1 (great but the other ones are only available as single issues digitally so I might have to go to a real book store) I welcome your suggestions!
  11. Noooooooooo. American Gods on HBO seems like such a perfect union. Argh. I only read it last year (or so) and man, that was a up-until-5am read.
  12. Ah, I called one of our TWoP staff get-togethers Wrath of Con. I had no idea.
  13. Mad typist, steam community says there's no mad_typist and there's +160 ladykillers.
  14. Snow monkeys! My best guess is that the virus is for making affordable molasses. That was okay. I'll stick around for a bit and see if it kicks into high gear.
  15. My friend Wendy (Bob's Burger writer and wife of PTV writer and EHG guest Jeff Drake) said my favourite thing about the movie on Twitter: I enjoyed the vision of the future tech it laid out. I thought it was pretty smart though maybe too rosy. Otherwise I only got through it pretending it was the backstory to The Matrix.
  16. That was an assured episode for a pilot. Reminded me of a less wackadoodle Scrubs. The opening sequence made me think a war setting show could work too. How long has it been since MASH?
