I don't like Caelyn at all. She looks and acts so fake. After asking for all the gossip, Colton didn't even eliminate either of the women who were the subject of the "gossip". It was all so strange and the editing was super weird. It all seemed like so many things were cut or edited out, not sure why. Both Caelyn and Cassie seemed so fake and appeared to lie when he questioned them. And the segment with Ben, there was hardly any advice beyond the usual "don't be scared", etc. It was so useless. This season is so bland that I barely remember the names of the ones left. And Kripa and Colton have zero chemistry, it was just a matter of time. I just can't stand Caelyn and don't find her that pretty, her face seems strange and her teeth so distracting. What a snooze-fest. Why aren't the Bachelors interesting enough to carry a season? And what about Colton is making the women bolt so fast? No other season have women left, and Ben Higgins was so scared that women would leave during his season because he was too into Lauren early-on. I wish I saw some humor or a proper villain who truly got under people's necks, or just something of humor. Granted this is not a comedy but does nobody have a funny bone? How can that be? Ugh!! The show has become so boring. I always multi-task while watching but some seasons have something noteworthy like the doctor whose eggs were rotting, or the two Italian women, I mean, something!! We need some entertainment and this season had none.

Arie does look much older. He is older but the salt and pepper hair does him no favors. He looked much better in Emily's season and dark hair makes him look young. I was surprised that the show aged him with that hair, he just doesn't seem as attractive in that color. Every season of The Bachelor is boring, and every time we discuss how boring TB is. So this one is no surprise. I was surprised at the hate for Krystal. She doesn't owe the girls anything and I was surprised that they hated on her for taking Arie first to the side, I don't get why that was so personal. The girls keep taking her desire to not talk about her dates so personally, it is her wish, she doesn't have to talk about it. Having said that, he voice and mannerisms are super annoying. She keeps asking Arie how she should behave and he keeps telling her to be herself, which is confusing I guess because she is acting aggressive, and he seems to like that. I don't know, I thought the girls were picking on her unnecessarily but she seems annoying too. I am happy that Bibiana is gone. She was over the top with constant complaining instead of getting off her butt and going and actually doing something about it, instead of picking on Krystal and acting passive aggressive and bullying other girls because they did what she would not do. I could not stand her personality so am glad she is gone. I think the producers got Annaliese to go back to Arie. I mean, she kind of knew that there was no chemistry and it was pretty clear but even after that she went to him again, I feel like the producers talked her up asking her to seek clarification because it was not clear to them and that she still had a chance. I would not be surprised if they told her they thought she had chemistry and she didn't think so and they asked her just to go and clarify it with Arie because they saw something else.

Just watched After Paradise. Jared was awful, just awful. Ashley didn't regret anything and didn't even want to apologize to Caila, she has such an entitlement like it is Caila's fault for not "listening" to Ashley and leaving Jared alone. So what if Caila said Jared is not her type? She can go after whomever she wants, she can change her mind, she is allowed to change her mind! It's not like she and Ashley are best friends who hang out a lot. Ashley was so awful, I am glad Sean called her out and "forced" her to apologize, but even her fake apology was just fake. As for whether Caila was as into Jared as he was into her, how can Ashley protect him? That is something he has to explore for himself and see if it is true, and whether Caila's feelings for him can grow. It is not a crime for one's feelings to be stronger than the other's. Ashley and Jared make it seem like Caila was committing a crime by not reciprocating Jared's feelings in the exact same magnitude. Ugh! I absolutely HATED how Jared threw Caila under the bus while defending Ashley, saying "a few people came to me about Caila's feelings not being as strong and it wasn't just Ashley". The way he was defending Ashley was just too much. And throwing Caila under the bus, ugh. Caila looked so hurt and upset, and she was as always trying to be classy about it. Jared and Ashley deserve each other. After they left, miraculously Ashley got over it and started going after Wells. It just didn't make sense. And Ashley called the Russian girl a hooker, ugh. I really hate the words hooker and whore, it just shows more about Ashley than the women she is speaking against. I hope it comes back to her, but so far I just see Ashley encouraged in her behavior and Jared the wimp going along with it and actually doing trips with her. Just too much!

I despise Ashley. I think part of the reason Caila is not liked by the people in Bachelorette is that she is guarded but also different, she has a grace that others don't. Most of these women can't relate to her. I did see some women take her side and tell her that it is Ashley's problem. Caila has done nothing wrong or out of class. She liked Jared, asked him out, and held her own instead of being a pushover despite Ashley's crying non-stop. Ashley has called her awful names, totally reflective of Ashley rather than Caila. I thought the last conversation of hers with Ashley said it all, Caila didn't want to be a part of all this mess, and she has a very good head on her shoulders. Her "I don't need the attention" is telling, she doesn't need this show like others and doesn't need to stay if her relationship is not going any further. She also knew and said that she can't do anything until Ashley hears it from Jared's own lips, and since Jared wasn't doing anything she had to leave. Caila dealt with Ashley with so much grace and maturity. She didn't resort to name-calling or yelling, she only focused on talking about her feelings and what mattered to her. I know many people didn't like her on TB, but here she dealt with everything with grace. It would have been so easy to lose her cool and respond in kind but she didn't, she decided to talk to Ashley and then leave. I despise Ashley. She is by far the worst person to talk the way she does. And Jared is a wimp, total wimp. He doesn't want to cut her loose but doesn't want a relationship. Jared will NEVER have another relationship till he lets Ashley go for good. I don't understand the "friendship" they can have. Ashley, with her Master's degree and all, is doing nothing with her life, nothing. She jumps from reality show to reality show, gets people to dislike her, for how long? What a waste. She talks sense when she is not crying and crazy, and I am surprised that she can hold a conversation, but mean-girling someone is just too much. As for Lace, is this the same person who left TB to "work on" herself? What work has she done other than those ridiculous eyelashes? Grant is so patient with her and talks like he wants a real relationship while Lace is all drama all the time. With Chad she started then pulled back, with Grant she is all trying to pull back. What did she expect when she coupled up with him? On such shows saying "love" is common, which is making her run away, but what did she expect? And why doesn't she talk about her feelings and confusion clearly like an adult rather than accuse and blame him? That is not a good sign. Grant needs to let her go now before it gets worse. Like Jen said, it is just one fight. I don't think Lace has been in any serious relationship. I like Jen, she is very mature. I liked how she spoke to Amanda and then Lace, whatever she says is mature. I also like Nick and never understood the backlash he got on Andi's season. He asked Andi point-blank why she slept with him if she didn't intend to keep him, and she reacted strongly. I totally was on Nick's side because it is a fair question, and I liked how honest he was and he tried to say it very calmly.

I slept through the film, woke up, rewind, then fell asleep again. It was hard to keep my eyes open. What I could not get over is how bad Bridget's makeup was. I could not get past the white highlighter below her eyes, her eyes always appeared to made up and that highlighter stood out above everything else. It was a very bad makeup job, I am surprised nobody noticed! The dialogues also seemed out of sync sometimes. Like when Ed Weeks told Bridget "if your father were here what would he say" and she took offense. It just seemed out of sync, like poorly delivered dialogues probably because the actors were improvising and the script was not tight. I wish Jason took this as a positive challenge. Limited budget? No worries, you can use sound effects to have an impact or facial expressions given the good round-up of actors. They were able to get a good cast together. Unable to film in the dark? Use digital effects to get the same look and feel. Instead, he focused on the one second squint that Ed Weeks did before kissing Bridget. A one second squint that nobody else would notice in the entire movie. I was in the market for a TV. I compared with and without LED, HD, etc. Then I realized that I see the difference in all the features only because the TV sets are in front of me, so I notice every minor difference. At home, with just one TV set, I would not even notice them and would be as happy with my TV as any other. So I decided not to pay a premium on minor differences. Since then, I use that to make a lot of decisions in life. It helps me prioritize. Jason has a real issue with prioritizing. Len was right in calling him out and asking why does that scene not work. I LOVED Len's matter-of-fact attitude. He basically said let us play the scene and see what is not working, and he said cut the frames and let us see how it looks. It was such a refreshingly practical way of looking at things that you could not argue with. For Jason to argue about even looking at alternatives was ridiculous. I think Len tried to salvage the story by putting the one-liner for Fiona. It would not save the movie, but it would fill a bit of the gap that Fiona's character obviously needed. A one-liner, all because Jason refused to write something to fill the gap. Which again Jason was passive-aggressive about. He refused to even listen to audience feedback, and all he heard Ben and Matt say was "you did a great job with what you were given", not what they said after. His expression was like "yeah I had limited resources so given the challenges this was my best". A creative person would be able to make things work. Leverage all the resources instead of constantly complaining. Regarding the editor's reaction, at work I once got into this argument with the finance person. She and I could not see eye to eye, we were locked in a long argument. It was the three of us - analytics, finance, and marketing. The analytics guy sat at the computer rolling his eyes and laughing sarcastically and stayed out of it. I think he felt like this editor but did a good job hiding it. Poor guy. He sat through 2 hours of argument at every invoice, probably ready to shoot himself. While we argued and argued and argued. So his reaction may have nothing to do with Jason or Len, it may have to do more with the discussion and argument, and that he was there not knowing which way they were going to go, it was a waste of his time to be there during the argument.

I could not have said it better. Jason has felt from the very beginning that this project compromised his "artistic vision". In this episode he got his boys club together which included Pete and Farrelly who clapped for him and spewed some words of praise instead of being honest. Effie was honest, clearly Len supports her and respects her for saving money from the meagre budget for reshoots. Len hired Effie for a reason, and she did her job and I respected her for walking out towards the end. It was infuriating watching Jason. His squints, side smiles, strange words, ugh, all got on my nerves. Who does he think he is? God's gift to mankind? Ugh. It was too much. He kept arguing with Len, who clearly has way more experience in the business and is providing the money. Effie's only issue was personalizing her communication, but I understood where it came from. She said to Jason "I saved up money", Jason heard "I have unlimited money that I hid from you to sabotage you", and Effie probably used "I" a lot since she is used to not getting credit for going above and beyond. She also framed her words as "I think Fiona is not...", Jason heard her attacking him, and all she meant was that this was her opinion. It is very disappointing that Matt Damon is such a part of the "white boys club". He could not see and appreciate Effie for doing her job. Ben, OTOH, was very professional and gave good advice. I felt like Ben gave Jason the best practical feedback - find out what the audience thinks. He clearly felt that there is no way Jason could argue with audience feedback, and as a fellow Director that was the best advice he could give. Marc has clearly gotten to where he is by climbing on shoulders of people like Effie, sucking up to the big guns, and throwing the more competent people under the bus. He panicked and could not function without Effie. He was like "yeah let us set up a meeting with Effie". He was so out of it that he didn't even know that Jason had not included the scene that Len had asked to be included to add to Fiona's character. He acted like he had no idea and just went with what Len said. Len has so far not felt the need to visit the set because he had full confidence in Effie, he did this time and Marc acted like he was just not in control. Instead all Marc said was that good thing Effie wasn't around, he was less stressed. What a doofus. Len took control and was obviously frustrated working with Jason in just one day. I find it ridiculous that people like Marc have gotten so far. I worked with incompetent people in my previous job. When I was new, two women who resented my joining in a higher position did everything to throw me under the bus from day 1. My boss was close to them and had no experience in my field. Since the 2 women also didn't have a lot of experience, they used silly things like I wasted time on reviewing data for marketing decisions, etc. to show the boss that I was incompetent. My boss believed them. I literally had to write presentations on why I looked at specific data and what purpose that would serve. It was ridiculous. She put someone else above me, and I told him candidly what I went through. He was shocked and tried to communicate to the boss why data was critical to our decisions. It was the worst experience for me in a job, being "upped" by two incompetent people just because they were closer to the boss. It sucks for Effie, she uses her strong personality and over-the-top behavior to protect herself and yet support her vision and belief in diversity, and to do her job. And people like Jason suck up to the right people and totally downplay her role. Nobody other than Len supported Effie. I really think she wanted validation in her role as a producer, and what HBO told her was different from what the "white boys club" thought of her role. Matt Damon was all about bringing his friend "Farrelly" in, Effie was not a part of major decisions, and her authority and commitment were questioned at every step. This was an infuriating season, I really wish they had focused more on film-making. Even Pete, in season 1, admitted that towards the end shooting season 1 film in the water was a disaster, and they improvised by following the producer's recommendation on an end scene that worked better for the film. Jason thinks he is all that and is just not open to anyone else's feedback or opinion. He is "my way or the highway". And he is just not as good of a Director or as successful to be making those kinds of shots.

That video says it all. I see how frustrated Effie is with Jason, understandably so. She has been trying to stay within the defined limits while Jason keeps pushing boundaries. Jason has no idea how to execute his vision. He really doesn't. He also doesn't have a way of communicating. But Effie focuses on doing things within boundaries and doing them well. I like her approach, and while I find her to be too stubborn to budge when certain things were negotiable (eg. budget), overall she has done her best to give Jason what he wants. He made bad choices that prevented him from getting the most important things. He should have laid out all his priorities from the very beginning instead of fighting every battle. It is interesting how this episode Effie worded that she hoped Jason learned from his mistakes. She accepted that Jason is new to this and that the best he can do with this experience is learn from his choices. I think Effie could have done a better job communicating but Jason has just not cooperated from the very beginning. I can't believe he blamed this entire thing on her. Regarding the car accident, I really don't know who is at fault - Jason for not realizing that time was more important than shooting on film, or Effie for not being able to execute his vision and communicate with the stunt man. But if Jason were a very good Director, he could have created the scene without needing the accident to actually happen, he just is not that good. So far I have seen nothing of the film that interests me other than Ed Weeks. Disappointing because I was hoping to see more filming this season instead of the Effie-Jason dynamic.

My statement is being misunderstood. Let me rephrase. The reason Effie took on this job is that she wants to bring about more diversity and this is a good opportunity. I respect her for that. However, her authority is not being respected by her bosses. When Jason went to Matt and Ben for more money, they should have directed him to go through Effie and involved her in a discussion. Instead, they gave a different directive from what they gave Effie - her job was to stick with the budget, but her bosses allowed Jason to go above her without her involvement and gave him more money. Effie is frustrated and unable to get what she wants from this experience, hence I think she is not a good fit. Yes she has added more diverse people which is great, but she has a HUGE chip on her shoulder which is hard to overlook, and Jason's movie and story itself does not allow for diversity in characters. Behind the Scenes we are seeing diversity, but I think her goal was to get diversity on the screen which she is unable to do here. So her goals are not fully realized and clearly she doesn't have the authority she thought she did. While anybody can be a producer here and do a good job (white or color), given Effie's principles and goals clearly this is not a good fit. I take back my statement that a white male would have been a better fit - it was late when I was typing this - ANYONE else would have been a better fit who didn't have such strong goals that the story and Director didn't support.

This show was interesting, not anymore. I really liked watching seasons 1 and 2. Season 2 directors were awful but the season itself was interesting to see how a movie is made. Now that reality TV is the thing, it seems like HBO brought in reality show people to direct/edit this show, hence all the unnecessary drama. I am sick and tired of tuning into the Jason vs. Effie show. Jason is annoying and has no idea how to direct. Effie's personality grates. Effie does seem to be fighting the good fight, but she is fighting ALL THE TIME! I have worked with people like that, and after a point, it gets tiring and becomes hard to work with someone who always rolls their eyes and laughs tauntingly when they don't get their way, and who is always on the defensive. Effie is always fighting, so it is very annoying to see her on my screen. She should have sat Jason down and shared with him what can and cannot be done in the budget. Understandably it doesn't seem like they have the time to do that, it seems like due to budgetary and timing constraints she is finding out day by day what can and cannot be done, and she can't run to him to tell him everything. They should have worked out priorities though - what are the most important scenes to him, and Effie can procure them. I haven't seen Effie really partner with him. From day one it has been a stern "No" in a school teacher stance, and then feeling offended when he hasn't agreed. In the past we have seen that they are able to go up for a bigger budget and negotiate, Effie makes it seem like they can't. Jason is no cakewalk, I am not even looking forward to the movie because it looks and sounds awful, and the movie is not right for Effie. She would do much better in a situation where there is more diversity, and the budget is kind of set. Here her authority is questioned all the time, she is not able to partner with Jason and realize that certain things can be negotiated, and the story itself is too white for her. It just is not a good fit. I think a white male Producer would have been a better fit because Effie has certain principles that she wants to ensure the movie meets, and a story and Director like this just won't be able to meet them. Clearly HBO thinks the drama will make people tune into the movie. I do hope this doesn't affect Effie's chances in Hollywood. She has burned a couple of big bridges. And I still don't get why they chose Jason when he clearly didn't want to do this.

I found Effie incredibly annoying. Her entire agenda seems "diversity" but not much, it is more focused on bringing more of her background. I belong to a minirity group as well and I didn't really see diversity. I guess she did bring in people she has worked with, but still. She just seemed so dismissive towards Farrelly. I get that in a workplace you have to be territorial from the very beginning else it could mess things up, but she dismissed him outright even though he was just trying to help. Honestly I'm an industry where relationships are everything, she seems to not be a people's person. I don't see how Jason is being hard. Isn't that what Directors do? Isn't that what makes the team work harder? He doesn't want to compromise on his artistic vision, what is wrong with that. He was cool with all the people Effie brought in but didn't want to compromise on the look of the film itself.

I have been on the receiving end of this, but not from "white people". I am Indian, and I endured it in school on a project from the two African American women I was working with, and it was frustrating to be told "it is too last minute to make any changes" even though I knew the ideas were bad. They delayed submissions and asked for an extension, I was done with my part and trusted them to finish theirs and submit since I had to leave the country. I got a very poor grade and was surprised, I confronted the teacher and she felt that I had contributed nothing since I wasn't present during submissions. I explained my situation and saw that the final result barely included my part. I took my entire work to her and showed her pictures and examples of my research, she updated my grade. So it is not just Caucasians who do this, even minorities do it. Back to this situation, I don't think Matt was racist, he has from the very beginning focused on finding the best Director, and I respect that. He doesn't want to get into the issue of race and other factors because they probably don't exist in his mind and he has not endured it. He is missing the point that others may not share his views. And I absolutely hated how he cut Brown off. I respected Brown a lot, it took a lot of guts to say what she did and react so openly in front of everyone. I found it very rude of Matt to not even hear her POV while everyone else got to say theirs. Probably he doesn't know her as well as the others, but that is no excuse. He could have let her finish her POV and acknowledged it but still gone his way. Brown completely withdrew after and it is clear she has been in that position before, and her answer "Jason" seemed forced, she checked out a bit. I felt bad for her, it was not fair of Matt to do that when clearly he is in a position of more power. It did make me like him less.

Kaitlyn is just so mean, as is Shawn. You "won", so why not just be gracious. It is disgusting how these two are going about dissing Nick. In the ATFR, I was surprised by how Kaitlyn was all "I said get out of the limo not come halfway through the season". Um if she didn't want him to be there, she should not have SLEPT with him. She was all trying to put it on him and cackling, and the audience was silent, I am glad nobody laughed with her like she expected. She had so much off-camera time, she could not have given Nick one hint? She made it seem like Nick came all the way but what about her sleeping with him, even if the producers wanted her to lead him on to F2 she didn't have to sleep with him and tell him she loved him. And now dissing him in post-show interviews? Sick, absolutely sick. Both deserve each other. By far the worst Bachelorette and final. I hope she doesn't get DWTS, that would be awful.

Just watched the AFTR. Katelyn's rolling her eyes and expression when Nick says that she told him she loved him a few times was cringe-worthy. Ugh. She has come off so badly overall, and he cackling is so annoying. Shawn could have been gracious given that he "won" and Nick "lost", instead he talks about how Nick talked about intimacy in front of the guys. Clearly Nick had a very hard time trying to find the right words so that he doesn't come off badly like the last time with Andi. Katelyn told Shawn he is the one, then had sex with Nick which made Shawn crazy insecure, kept telling Nick she loved him over and over and had sex with him multiple times, it seems she had sex with Shawn as well. She led both guys on without any consideration for their feelings. Basically she wanted Nick to go away and not question her at all. It was just too much. I was Team Nick during Andi's season because I don't think his questioning her was wrong at all. He clearly shared his feelings with Katelyn, she was also rejected by Chris, and he thought she would never do that to him. And she did - lead him on and dump him. I am sure the producers played a role, but given that Katelyn has done whatever she wanted, I don't blame the producers. I am so glad this season is over, now bring the fun on with BIP.

Is she so desperate to do it that she doesn't want to "waste the FS date"? Would she have kept Joe around instead? Also, did she get 4 FS dates? Ugh this woman is just too much.

I can't believe the way Kaitlyn reacted when Ben said he wanted to talk to her. Just because he doesn't want to do the deed with her doesn't mean he is a virgin. Ugh. She looked so disappointed. And while Shawn's constantly saying "the other guy" was exhausting, it was a voiceover so I am sure the producers edited it in. He may have said "Nick" but it was probably replaced with "the other guy". And it was such a silly thing to ask to speak with her after she called him for a rose, keeping the other guys waiting while he had his rose. It was just not fair to the other guys. Why is Shawn so possessive? After watching Unreal I think that he is being manipulated to react like this all the time. I think he is not sure because Kaitlyn says one thing and does something else. I see that too and other guys have called her out for it. But he should either leave or suck it up, because his confronting her again and again and again and now going to Nick who really doesn't owe him anything is just too much. It must be producer motivated because he is deep into this and her and is obviously close to a producer and he is using this. This season is so awful and Kailtyn is so so boring. All she can do is prank, she doesn't really have a sense of humor. I mean, she says she is funny and all that but I haven't really seen her being witty, just pulling stupid pranks and stupid dates.

This season is such a drag. If I were one of the guys and took a break from my job and came on this show, and saw how Kaitlyn is, I too would leave. Why waste my time off on her and this show that is sucking the life out of everyone? Ben H. so gently told Kaitlyn to cut him loose if she was not interested. So much stuff has happened between Shawn and Kaitlyn off-camera. I think Shawn is the way he is because Kaitlyn's actions are not matching her words. She clearly promised Shawn that he was "the one" and probably slept with him, and now he finds out that Nick was "intimate" with her and he suspects that something happened between them, he doesn't trust her and feels like he maybe taken for a ride. So many guys have called her out for her actions not matching her words, and I think that is what is freaking Shawn out. He has fallen for her, he believed her, yet why would she be so into Nick if Shawn is the one. So I don't see him as entitled given what probably went on between him and Kaitlyn and what she has told him. She doesn't want to reassure Shawn since he seems to want that constantly, but I don't get how she cannot see that Nick and she had an overnight date that may have caused Shawn to question what was between them. She doesn't even trust that Nick would not tell the guys anything, I mean, with so little trust and so little self-control, why did she even come on this show. And Nick lied when he said he didn't use the word intimate. I don't even know what Nick was trying to tell the guys - was he trying to say that he came into the rose ceremony confident since he had a rose but is now not since Kaitlyn is a mess, or that he has a rose and is not worried? At this point the editors are just piecing things together and it makes NO SENSE. I don't even understand half these conversations. Why does Nick talk in a strange manner like he is always lying or something? So strange. Kaitlyn was such a mess, I can't watch this show anymore. It was so so so so so boring today. Cupcake was not crying, I mean, my 2 year old boys cry like that with no tears when I tell them they can't have something. He probably did it for the producers and hid his face because he had no tears! None of them have any connection with Kaitlyn, she herself is not interesting at all, and after Nick they don't seem to care. Please please just do Bachelor Pad or get a new fresh lead, I can't stand these recycled people anymore.

I don't care much about Kaitlyn. Ian was right, she is shallow and there to just make out with a bunch of dudes. I don't blame her for sleeping with Nick, but I do wonder why she could not get him out of her system before going on this show. From what I have seen of Shawn, it seems like she led him on and told him he is the one, to then go all crazy after Nick. Someone upthread said that Shawn must be exhausting, opening and closing up and then opening up again. I think it has to do with the process. He is scared of opening up because he doesn't want to get hurt, but develops feelings for Kaitlyn and opens up, then he sees that Kaitlyn's actions don't match her words, is confused and wants to close up again but is too involved emotionally to do that naturally. I do understand that part, he probably is not like that in real life, it is the Bachelorette process. Kaitlyn is incredibly boring. She really has nothing to talk about, can't carry a show, and most of the guys are disappointed and really not that interested in her. I can't stand her gummy grin and duck lips either. Having said that, when she speaks, I find her to be very sincere. When she first heard that she was chosen as the Bachelorette the first thing she asked is if Britt is fine. She is also completely honest about having sex, something people usually keep under wraps. It may seem like TMI but I like her honesty. But it also makes me question her because clearly she is not honest with Shawn in giving him the impression that he is the one and then sleeping with Nick after. She lives in the moment. It is hard to build a relationship with someone like that unless the person changes a bit. Relationships need more long-term thinking and commitment interspersed with living in the moment. She lives in the moment all the time, making what she says unreliable and doubtful because she can change her mind the very next minute. Nothing can be long-standing with her. So clearly she is not ready for a relationship. I am tiring of this show's having recycled Bachelors and Bachelorettes. Chris was boring, I only remember his dolphin laugh, he was so vanilla, as is Kaitlyn. It is time to introduce someone new and fresh, not recycle from the past season. None of them come across as well as they did in the past season, none. I would totally tune in for someone new and fresh who can start with a clean slate. And nothing wrong with having eye candy.

This episode was just so awful, awful. I don't understand why such terrible dates. Boxing? Sumo Wrestling? And teaching kids sex education? I could not believe it when I saw that. Is that even acceptable, teaching sex education like this to kids? Ugh. And Katelyn laughing and trying to be one of the guys was just too much. Nobody seems into Katelyn, they all seem to be having more fun with each other. I liked their cracking jokes at Joe's expense and how he just didn't care. Do the producers involve Katelyn while deciding on dates? Does she have a say? I can't believe how bad this season is. The guys are awful, Katelyn is not that good of a catch, and the dates are boring. I thought that the lovey duwey dates were gag-inducing, but this is so much worse. There are no dates to create "connections", the dates are just "entertainment". They have nothing to do with Katelyn. And she sucks up to the guys so much. All the time she talks about why she likes them, so far I haven't seen the guys say the same to her. And I agree with Tony. After his mumbling craziness in the past episodes, I was so shocked to hear him make sense, makes me feel like he was playing a role but then got over it and just wanted an out. I could not believe that he of all people was making sense!! And seeing Katelyn try to justify to him and apologize was just too much. She should have cut him loose if he wanted to leave, not try to justify herself especially if the producers are setting the dates.

I visited Maine a few years back and wanted to go white water rafting. We stayed in the outskirts of a small town, and found a huge room with a Jacuzzi for a small amount, and were shocked to see how large the room was for the price. In the evening we drove around and realized that we were the only ones on the road for miles around. The next morning we had a nice buffet breakfast for only $2!!! After living in NY, it was such luxury and I could not even imagine that the $2 would make the restaurant a profit!! Arlington reminds me of that town. There was nothing to do, the weather was too bad to go rafting, so we went back to Acadia national park and spent the rest of the days there. I can't believe such ghost towns exist, there is absolutely nothing to do! You would really have to love the guy or like that life to move there, clearly not for anyone on The Bachelor. So many women here are fake - Britt, Kelsey, and Whitney. I find Whitney really fake with her over the top excitement at taking photos everywhere to replicate the art gallery they visited. I just find her too much in general, just too over the top excited. She does come across as mature in that she doesn't get too involved in the general bitchiness but it could just be the editing. Her telling her sister that if Chris doesn't pick her due to the sister was too much, because if Chris really cared for her the sister would not be able to dissuade him. She was trying to tell her sister that it would be on her if Chris rejected her, which is absurd, and I could imagine Whitney using it against her sister for years! Someone above said rightly that Whitney is treating it like a job interview. Chris is so boring. I just don't think it is a good idea for someone to leave her friends, family, and job behind to be with a guy, who is rich, but is fine with taking a backseat and doing nothing much, and has nothing much to offer other than money. I know I would die of boredom in the town and resent the guy forever.
