  1. I liked the beginning when they recreated "A Million Ways To Die In The West", sort of. The mustache thing was a throwback to the song in the movie. Isaac showed up with a mustache and downer Charley had to, once again, throw a wet blanket on everything. She really sucks. They gave her more of a featured part and she just couldn't handle it. If Seth insists on keeping her around, he needs to keep her in the background. Otherwise, I didn't care for the episode. I thought it really dragged. I think we were about 20 minutes into this and nothing of interest had happened. I hate the "I didn't know I had a kid" tropes. They need to explain how fast kids grow on Krill, because she was far too old for the couple of seasons since the event. I did like the shot of Bortus trying not to be sick. At least we had that moment.
  2. I thought this episode was pretty good. However, I found the ending very disappointing. When we last saw the people of the planet, they had become enlightened. This seemed now out of character for these enlightened people to use other people for their own personal gain. Especially in that way. It was cruel. Every time Charly opens her mouth, she is a raving bitch-wad. The first episode was almost steering towards making her the Orville's Wesley Crusher. They have done nothing to make her character more likeable. She just bitches at/about Isaac all the time. Even in the imaginary world. The doctor and Isaac were once again put together on a mission down on the planet. It made me wonder if they were going to be guided back together. I was glad to see a lighter episode. Oddly enough, I was thinking about the original Kelly is God episode during this episode.
  3. I think that this episode was better than last week's episode. It did drag a lot, but it picked up a lot when they got to the mutations. I thought it was possible for John to get mutated and then Claire would have to find a cure. Although I have to question letting the mutants go. "I am prepared" made me laugh. The episode was "Charlie light" which was good. Even though with the few lines she had, she didn't deliver them very well. She really got shoehorned into this show and it isn't working. She's an expendable role. At the beginning when Claire said she wasn't sleeping well, I thought maybe she was secretly seeing Isaac again. It was weird that the admiral left her yet seemed to be still pining for her after 20 years. I assume his mutant character will return some day. His little bit of humanity will still be there because he can't let go of Claire. I liked the action sequences and the mutants crawling all over the walls. The eye thing was creepy. The rest bored me.
  4. Is the new cast member dating Seth McFarlane? I'm just curious because she was an unnecessary addition to the cast. She wasn't a very good actor, plus no one likes an angry bitch. First thing out of the gate she's bitching at Isaac. This was not a good introduction to her character. Then by some twist of fate, she's the only one who can save him. It kept my enjoyment of the new episode at a minimum. I suddenly remembered before the premier, that Norm MacDonald was part of this cast. It made me sad to think about it.
  5. I watched Eureka on Prime a few times now. Is there a missing episode? On one of the "Last time on Eureka" they show the Jamie Ray Newman character arguing with Carter. She's a hologram coming from Australia. Was that in an episode or was it just thrown in?
  6. I was surprised at how poorly Steve did on the bowling pin. Did he just give up? His asparagus was amazing. I was wondering if the bowling pin - with the obviously bad rings was a decoy to fake out the judges. I was like, really? What happened? I think I only missed two of the money bags. I could not tell which podium was the cake. They have some amazingly talented people behind the scenes making cakes for this show. I did note though, that when doing luggage or handbags, the contestants are better off not making the leather looping luggage straps. I liked the host up to a point. Towards the end of the season, he seemed to be pushing the creepiness factor.
  7. Dr. Linda and Amenadiel have an open relationship? Did we always know that or was that thrown in to this episode?
  8. I did like the ending. However, we don't know what happened to Trixie. They didn't even have an adult Trixie. Just the other daughter that they shoved into the plot line. I really didn't buy the angry daughter story. Her father left when Chloe was barely pregnant with her. She had family members around. Lots of family members. So, it didn't make sense to me. She was angry for years over someone who was never in her life to begin with. My favorite moment was when Charlie sprouted wings. That was so awesome! I was glad Dan got to spend eternity with Charlotte.
  9. I don't get the anger from the daughter. It sounds like she never met him. He was gone before she was born. How did he ruin her life exactly?
  10. This was pretty bad. I think if the show had come out sooner, things might had been better. They pushed everything too far and it was a big disappointment. There were no memorable jokes or songs. When I saw the title of 9 - It's Almost Over - I thought thank God for that. The ninth episode was the only good episode and then they had to ruin the ending. I think these guys can stop anytime now. Big Mouth hasn't been good since season three and it's no better with this show.
  11. After watching season 4, I didn't need to keep watching Big Mouth. Season 4 was horrendously bad. I gave up Netflix for over a year, but I renewed it for a limited time so I can finish Lucifer and After Life. So I did watch season 5. I wouldn't say the season was bad. Just not memorable. When I watched this show originally, there were episodes I could watch repeatedly. Season 1-3 had good gags, songs and memorable plot points. I won't watch season 4 again and season 5 was forgettable. The show has really lost something.
  12. Just wondering, since I didn't watch the series when it aired on network TV, on Hulu, are they playing the final few episodes out of order?
  13. They found a woman in the freezer in an earlier episode. I won't write any more details just in case someone hasn't finished the series before reading this. I didn't see this series in its original run. I saw a few episodes which I remembered. The series episodes were very hit-or-miss for me. I found the series on Hulu and just finished watching all of it. Season 4 was unwatchable. Just cringeworthy. It was like the entire cast had already moved on. Season 1-3 were worth watching.
  14. I don’t look at competitions that way. if the women don’t perform well enough to stay, then they should go home. If it ends up an all male competition, that’s the way the ball bounces. I think a woman won in a previous year because “It was time for a woman to win”. Not because she was the best performer. I didn’t think this was a good song choice for Swan. She sounded weak.
  15. I wasn’t at all impressed with Swan’s performance. I thought she should have gone home. I have no real guesses. I want to say Chameieon is Snoop Dog, but they were really pushing the weed references, so maybe those are red herrrings. I have no other guess though. I think Piglet is Nick Lachey. Russian Dolls is Hanson. I have no idea about the others.
  16. I had a couple of thoughts on Katie’s pregnancy. My first one was she was carrying the baby for her friend who wanted a baby. Then she mentioned the no weird middle names and it seemed like something she would discuss with Greg first. Another thought was this was someone’s weird dream and the sleeping person will wake up next season realizing this. Another possibility will be that they will pull the sitcom trope of the baby magically becoming 4 years old next season. Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Family ties are two examples of this.
  17. I did have that same thought. I figured it was possible that he told Katie what she wanted hear, but continued with his plan to become a chef. I have no problem with a baby storyline. I actually liked how they handled it in Big Bang Theory where we never actually saw any babies. Being that the episode aired on March 31st, I thought they were going to treat the pregnancy like an April Fools Day prank. Joel McHale and Jim Rash were in the same scene together. I can’t remember if they had any interaction or if it was just snide remarks.
  18. Just going with, one post about the latest episode, two days after it aired - this show is on thin ice. Wokeness will kill the series.
  19. When they showed a yellow rose, I thought it was someone from Texas. Jessica Simpson was born in Texas.
  20. I didn’t get to pay attention, last night, like I like too. I think - the old monster character - might be Sir Mix A-Lot. I don’t have a guess on anyone else. The only thing I was pretty sure about, last night, was the Phoenix elimination. I was really confused. I thought Phoenix was a woman. Then sounded like a man, with a really familiar voice. Go figure. .
  21. Just someone who got paid to wear a horrible dress.
  22. I rewound during this performance, because I missed the Eddie Van Halen moment during the tribute segment. When I got back to where I left off, I thought “That is John Mayer”. Really? A live performance of WAP? This should be interesting..
  23. I wasn’t too sure about Niecy Nash hosting. She was carried out on a throne, like Madonna at the Super Bowl. I thought she was going to be obnoxious. It turned out that I really liked her. She was a good choice for a host. I hope they keep her. What is going on with Nick Cannon?
  24. I think Robo Pine is D.B. Woodside. I haven’t liked Kermit since the first replacement voice. I wished they had retired Kermit after Jim Henson died. I would have never recognized his current voice. I found it disappointing that there wasn’t a real person. Although, I couldn’t figure out how a real person would have been crammed into the costume. It would have been terribly unconfortable.
  25. If Mac has to ask how Riley is feeling, then he shouldn’t entertain the idea of marrying Desi. I dislike the character and never liked their relationship, but if she was a real person, he would be marrying a consolation prize. If he suddenly realized that Riley is available and she lies because she doesn’t want to get between Mac and Desi, then Desi is screwed big time. It would be a crappy thing to do to her. The ending I imagined, Desi says “Yes”. She gets killed off or gets her dream promotion and leaves the show. Desi says “No”. They break it off and she leaves the show. Now Mac has to find out if Riley still has feelings. Desi should cut her losses and get a new job.
