  1. <<<<ducking behind Hiedi, Tim and Kelly O>>>>>>> Swapnil's dress was wonderful but it looked like the skirt had been put on backwards. The "hem" was demonstrably longer in the front than the back. Just enough to move him into second place. As for Ashley, in one of her first talking reads she talked about never feeling liked she fit in and lacked confidence. I can imagine that after winning, there was some genuine and not so genuine ass kissing which she took as the beginnings of friendships. I would hazard a guess that the same thing happened after she won with Candice (whom, btw, I believe is a living embodiment of Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle" After a lifetime of feeling not good enough, to think you had found that acceptance and to have it torn away again must have been heartbreaking. And anyone who is larger in the society has to have think skin. It amazes me the amount of people who feel it is their duty to let me know I am "fat" as if it is a condition that struck me suddenly, without warning, after in left my house in the morning.
  2. Wasn't there a younger royal in the pilot? Is she gonna show up later like an extra Cosby kid to the dog on the Brady bunch?
  3. The JoJo scene was just hateful. It was a way to get her licks in without Abby having to hold the whip. The "place or never solo again" BS was just as bad. No Nina is not on par with the other girls but when was the last time she had a dance class? Even Maddie, the favorite of favorites, is behind on technique because they don't spend enough time doing Barr work. How is Nina ever going to compete. And FINALLY, Abby, without meaning too, admitted to stacking the deck in Maddies favor. Does she think we are to stupid to put 2 and 2 together. When she goes on her tirade about I will do lyrical cause lyrical always wins and we are to stupid to remember all of Maddies Lyrical pieces against the others themed pieces.
  4. Why does this make me uncomfortable but saying she isn't the brightest bulb doesn't?
  5. I realize they have 17 kids and I only have 4 but these people act like no child ever lied before. My kids are exceptional in lots of ways but I doubt my (then) 9 year old is the only one who tried to blame her baby sister for writing the elders name on my freshly painted wall. 'Course she was easily found out since her sister was about 18 months old. LOL if they think their kids never lied, they are just to stupid to realize it. In the end, I don't think K cared about the fight at all. I think 1. he wanted the anthropologist "think" he did Dad things, 2. He was embarrassed about the security guard, and 3. he was upset because his son betrayed "Man Code" I just hummed the song from "Book of Mormon" about the kid going to he'll for lying about eating the maple donut. And there is no way K would let his daughter wrestle. They can't hold hands but he is gonna let a teenage sperm donar touch her all over, toss her on her back, climb up on her and pin her to the mat? Yeah right. Per the closed captioning, C told K to "Go to Hell." I don't think C is being to whiney, I think she is really raw trying to reconcile her religion with being married to an uncaring asshat. He is either really good at pushing her buttons for fun and profit or he is just oblivious and really lucky. R knows that by joining in, C is gonna get wound up even tighter. Finally, am I the only one who notice the kid didn't really have anything in his room. Nothing on the alls. It looked like a cell rather than a kids room. 6. I get that allot. The voices in my head pride themselves on their artistry and originality Kinda like Ian Z.
  7. Thank you! Now that I am about to lay my head down to sleep, I have the following vision.... Geraldo Rivera, dressed Ina peptobismal pink topcoat with tails. Pink cane in hand. He starts prancing down the hospital halls singing.. Cervix of mine, malignancy free. Malignancy free, malignancy free. Cervix of mine, malignancy free. No matter the oncologist, no polyps he'll find.
  8. If I have it wrong, I will say I am sorry LOL but I still won't like Moffat, you can't make me.What I read years ago (on the interwebs so we know it is the truth) was that when Captain Jack, Martha, and Mickey walk away from the TARDIS, they were to become the new core of torch wood. However, Moffat was to take over and instead focused on Sherlock and DW.
  9. The death of torchwood denying us more face time for Captain Jack, just one more reason to hate Moffet.
  10. With Gerald's ego, I can see a side deal between him and the "Boss" that he will make the final 2, if not outright win. I have also Ben wondering if this season is so rushed so DT can play the "I am/am not running for president game again.
  11. As someone who spent over 5 hours today filling out college aid forms (7 schools with 4 separate forms) these colleges ask for detail that I never imagined. I can't see how they wouldn't discover some kind of scam. Each schools application included a statement that any falsehood in the application/financials forms could lead to severe reprecushions, up to and including revocation of degrees earned. While I can see the adults being cocky enough to try and scam them, the kids seem to be more rational. Just my $.02
  12. Thanks for the responses. I guess I will just keep watching and see what happens.
  13. I notice this season Robyn's son is getting airtime and every time he is on screen my heart kinda breaks. I have three kids on the spectrum and just don't see where there is any active treatment for him. Just finished the episode with the 4-wheelers and can't believe they didn't prepare him, have an action plan, or even give 2 seconds thought to how he was going to handle the situation. I am hoping one of you know something positive about him.
