  1. You are mistaken the final round with the one before it. In reality, if you see the pattern beforehand, you can chose which to skip and which to answer. They should have kept them separately in that round as well.
  2. I don't think Graham got anything. Yeji got 10 k, no?
  3. Good job, Vanya! Where is your God now, Graham? Although absurd, I could have sort of seen Katherine's dad's point.
  4. Children are allowed to be different. Not everybody wants or enjoys what you think they should. I was a huge reader in my childhood and that was both fun and informative for me. I also had to play sports in school, and I ended up being the captain of my team, but the enjoyment I derrived from winning games and championships was pale and insignifiant when compared to reading.
  5. On another forum, someone claimed to have remembered Kristi from an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras.
  6. It's easy to be understanding when it's not your kid the one leaving.
  7. It seems to me that they are handed particular material to study in which case ... it is more about memory, resistance to stress, and reaction speed.
  8. If Katherine cried, she would just be a "sore loser".
  9. Why? Looks like on the next episode Tanishq's parents go to the jury and try to make them change their mind about an answer they marked as wrong. I just hate Graham and his smug Christianity.
  10. It seems they are all handed material to study for the weekly tests. If that is the case, there isn't much genius involved, just a healthy dose of good memory. Am I the only one irritated at the Indian boy (can't remember his name now) who kept on saying he did "good"? For such a smart child, he has issues distinguishing between an adverb and an adjective. As a non-native speaker, it is driving me crazy.
  11. I fully disagree. As someone who used to be involved into such competitions as a child, it was very important for me that my position and my score were accurate and reflected closely my performace. I would have never been ok with losing a spot because of a jury error. I find their attitudes appropriate and supportive of Katherine. Plus, there is a difference beteween being in the 3rd (on the podium, bronze medal), and in the 4th.
