  1. Not me. I just assumed it. A rich older dude who likes to marry younger women, prone to making shit up. Sounds like something Lu and Sonja would dig. I remember the reunion where Lu just casually threw out that the Count didn't like Jews, like it was no big deal. She said she didn't agree, but seemed to have no issues with his own intolerance. Told me all that I needed to know.
  2. They are on a reality TV show. They talk about their divorces, domestic abuse, eating disorders, their sexual preferences, and all matter of things that the rest of us would never share on TV. But their role in a democratic society is a topic that is just too damned personal to discuss? Good Lord.
  3. Butt hurt and fucking pissed off. That's all I got.
  4. Interesting. I hadn't read that after the reunion she tweeted #blindersoff. Hard to imagine that means anything except she had seen the real Tom that everyone had been warning her about.
  5. Everyone can rest easy. The couch has officially been reupholstered. https://www.architecturaldigest.com/story/carole-radziwill-gives-ad-a-tour-of-her-soho-duplex
  6. I agree, which is why I think it all depends on how ugly this gets. Lu won't want to hurl too many accusations at him because he could open up the vault. Better to say they married too quickly, didn't know each other well enough, didn't want the same things. Or just blame everyone else and their constant chatter for the failure.
  7. Yep. There might be all kinds of good stuff he could reveal. And since I believe now and believed from the beginning that he is a dick, he could do it if it meant that he could extend his small time fame or make a buck. Probably all depends on how ugly this thing gets. Might not get ugly at all and they remain friends (if they are actually still friends and care about each other). For starters, he could clear up their first meeting. The allegation being that Lu introduced herself with something like "it's my turn". Would be interesting to know if that were in fact true, since it goes to what Lu did know about the others before the fact. But then, since I think he was probably in on this whole deal from the beginning - the fake storyline - more than likely he will just slink away as per their agreement from the start.
  8. I cannot speak for anyone else, but I didn't want their marriage to fail, I just believed that it would. Because, well, it was kind of evident from the beginning that it would.
  9. He wouldn't have to reveal 4th wall antics. He could just dish on Lu. I cannot imagine there is any Bravo contract that stops him from selling dirt about his wife. Just because no one has done it can't mean that he does not own the type of character that would allow him to do something like that. We've also not seen a dude remove his mic while talking to his ex-girlfriend on camera while his wife was 20 feet away. He did that which certainly means he could do something else.
  10. Well, no, but they weren't under a major public spotlight before, because they weren't semi-famous people. My point is that it remains fairly consistent, as it did for Lu and Tom. I believe it was ZM who posted the number of articles before they were married and the ones after (but before they filed for divorce) and there were more before than after. I think saying that the HW's wanted the marriage to publicly fail is lumping them all in with Ramona. She is the one who was inviting (supposedly - I have no idea if it was her or production) Missy to things. For the most part, the conversation about Lu and the big fat mistake she was making was all before the wedding. I didn't hear much after the wedding. Sure, you had Dorinda telling her to stop bragging about her great marriage, but I don't remember anyone sitting around with her trying to make her see reality after the vows were exchanged. They just seemed to roll with it all. I don't even recall that much media stuff until the slap heard round the world got reported. And many didn't believe that there was trouble in paradise then. And there was.
  11. I don't think they necessarily have to be great friends when filming stops in every instance. They can still enjoy each others company, and care about each other and have a true fondness for each other. How many of us have had great relationships with folks at work, and then when we move on to other jobs don't really hang out much any longer? It just happens. Tamra and Heather did have a great relationship for pretty much the run of the time they were on together. Heather and Shannon came to care about each other on the show as well. That might not have continued for another season. They might have had issues. But those issues would have been more interesting to many because of their shared history. I would have been far more interested in seeing Tamra and Heather have problems than I am in seeing anything between Peggy, Lydia or Kelly. Because I just don't care about these people in any way. Their stuff is just boring without history and any relationship. JMO of course.
  12. Exactly. Blame everyone except the parties involved. Maybe they should pull a Shannon and blame Vicki. Makes about as much sense IMO.
  13. I was kind of kidding when I said that Heather could save the show. But I did like her and I do miss her. I said I wouldn't watch if she were to go because she was the only one I could stand, and I am trying to keep my promise. I don't think any one gal can save the show. But the NY show has sealed my long-time feelings that the show is better if you have some gals in the cast that really like and care about each other. The more the better. Shannon and Tamra are not close because they have no one else to film with. They have grown steadily closer over the last two years - on camera and off. Heather also had a relationship with them. There was a history there, which I think is important. There is so little history with the others. Meghan, Vicki, Peggy, and even Lydia who was only on for one season. None of them really care about each other, which just makes it seem off to me.
  14. Yep, have never done it any other way. If I am frying a chicken - regular fried chicken, chicken fried chicken breasts, or chicken tenders (we really like to fry chicken around here) it gets a soak in buttermilk. Delicious. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes to all of this.
  15. I have only watched the first 3 episodes and the remaining ones are on my DVR and will probably go unwatched. I only hop on here to read the witty comments of you fine people, and for the hope that someone will tell me that Heather is coming back to save this shit show.
  16. Well, then they are really stupid if they thought the scrutiny would be over after the marriage after so much publicity before the marriage. When they are on a reality TV show. I would assume that I am not alone in knowing folks that made marriages that others thought doomed. It is hardly the practice for folks to just stop looking and wondering after the vows have been taken. Lu just made a really bad marriage and IMO that is the real truth.
  17. My guess is she has assembled a focus group already to see what plays the best. I agree it will never be about money, because she would sound pathetic, and like maybe she was just interested because of the money. She can't say he cheated because then everyone else would have been right. At the end of the day, it will be whatever makes for the best storyline.
  18. I don't believe any of this to be the case because there was a ton of scrutiny before the marriage, but if it were true, why not just say it? Just say, "we really love each other but the pressure of the constant scrutiny is too much. We don't want to live a life that is constantly questioned, probed and analyzed". Sure folks would snark, but that sounds far better than what she said, which was: "It was impossible. We were having problems and we tried really hard to fix things, and we finally came to the conclusion it was just not going to work." I mean, that just sounds dumb. And made up. How hard could they have tried to fix things? They got married in January and filed for divorce 8 months later. Unless things had been impossible from the day of the wedding until the day of the divorce filing, how hard and how long could they have been trying? But that is the thing. You never know the truth with Lu, because she is never going to really tell the truth. She is always going to say the thing that she thinks folks find palatable because she is so concerned with how things appear. She does this to herself.
  19. I just didn't see this at all. I think they were pretty subdued on the whole thing. I mean, it was going to come up. It was going to be questioned and analyzed to an extent, but no one seemed to gleeful about it at all. Honestly, I think they are all weary of talking about Lu and her silly wedding.
  20. Looks like Dennis is back in Bethenny's life. Doesn't sound like he dumped her. http://www.eonline.com/ca/news/874956/bethenny-frankel-and-dennis-shields-are-back-together-and-having-fun
  21. She didn't seem one bit embarrassed by the conversation. Dorinda admitted when they went on the ski trip that she forgot her suitcase because she ran over to John's place for a quickie. She even said "sorry mom". Hardly a big deal, but she didn't seem to have any issues talking about having some quick sex on camera. She also didn't seem to have any problem talking about anal sex on camera, because she was the one who had the most to say. She also picked up a huge squash when asked what John's tool looked like. Doesn't appear to be the actions of someone who is prude to say the least. Which also doesn't make her a slut or a dominatrix. Just a woman who doesn't have problems talking about sex on camera. At all.
  22. Lu absolutely killed in this dress. I am someone who thinks she usually wears her clothes well, whatever the garment, but this one especially. Her body looks incredible. I would have loved to see her wear this at the reunion. I also think she looked great in the rehearsal dress she decided to wear. The neckline looks very good on her. But what it evokes - a marriage gone bad, and it had already gone bad when they filmed the reunion - just makes it a strange choice IMO.
  23. Gang bangers? Oh lordy. What part of the world are you in? I'm in the midwest, and drugs are all over the place. Not done only by people who have nothing better to do, but by people who have all kinds of great things to do and the money to do them, but still want to get high. Or find themselves being led down a path they never considered due to a dosage of something that came with a prescription from a doctor. I mean seriously, this is all over the news right now and it is no fucking joke. People keep a lot of behavior on the down low when they are around folks they don't think would approve. A lot of behavior.
