  1. Just no. The fact that a person doesn't financially disown you does not mean that they are not an asshole. Again, I am beyond jealous of people that aren't personally aware of these truths.
  2. Maybe Momma Hoppy, bored with trying to get Poppa Hoppy to put on his pants and stop walking around the house in his underwear when they have guests, uses her time instead to horn up the tabloids pretending to be Bernadette. And Bernadette doesn't mind one little bit.
  3. Oh, I don't believe that anyone is calling up Bernadette. I think she has them on speed dial. Bethenny just isn't important enough for all of the rags to wonder what her mom thinks about all that goes on in her life
  4. Me too. That little nugget came from Kelly, a person I don't believe has a soul. She would probably love nothing more than for the world to believe Heather had been demoted while she - Kelly - was asked back full-time. Kind of the ultimate slam for these gals, short of being all out fired. There was also the blind item about Terry cheating. And the premise from some that she didn't want to go through that on TV. Who knows. She said she wanted to leave, and Andy said she was welcome back. If she did leave for family reasons, or to spare her kids from having to watch or read more about an affair due to her being on the show, then good on her for stepping away. We don't need another Shannon Beador situation on our hands and I don't believe that Heather would ever put her kids through that.
  5. She isn't just starting it. She started it in S2. Remember she showed us her belly and the weight she had gained after the S1 reunion. We met her trainer. It was all about how she had gained weight because of the trauma of David's affair. Then she lost most of it. She has been down this road before.
  6. If you want her perspective, Bernadette will tell you. In interview after interview. The gal is not shy or afraid to give her side of the story. She is more than capable of getting whatever she wants out there.
  7. I hear ya, Ryebread. And even if we see it with our own eyes, well who the hell knows anymore. But one would think that if she really were not saying all of these things that she would put down the vodka bottle and alert someone. Say "hey, I didn't say she was a moron". What kind of a mother would allow these things to be floating around with what appear to be direct quotes if they really didn't say those things? Or if they were taken out of context? http://www.lifeandstylemag.com/posts/bethenny-frankel-shark-tank-133065/photos/real-housewives-bethenny-frankel-225848 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3676082/Bethenny-Frankel-s-mother-Bernadette-Birk-says-no-feelings-speaking-star-12-years-estrangement.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2120546/Bethenny-Frankels-mother-says-daughter-leave-husband-Jason-Hoppy.html
  8. I certainly get the point, and I know a lot of folks agree with this. But if not getting her money, or talking to it is making him unhappy, then why doesn't he compromise? He is apparently acting in this fashion because he is the one who is unhappy with their current situation. Why is she the one to compromise and give him what he wants when he is the one causing the drama? She doesn't want to give him her money, or her time. It always seems like it is about what Bethenny should be doing to keep the peace at all costs, while he should be doing nothing.
  9. Give him money and attention? To make things more pleasant? Whatever he needs? Well, where I live it's 2017 now and we womenfolk don't have to push our feelings and wellbeing to the side to make things more pleasant for the menfolk. I don't know any loving mothers who would do that, and I know plenty of loving mothers. None that I know would put up with all that bullshit. And what exactly would a loving father do? Harass and stalk the mother of his child? Get himself arrested after being warned to back it up? When exactly will it be time for Jason to behave in an appropriate manner? Why does he get so many passes? The talk is always about Bethenny as a mother. How about Jason as a father?
  10. But it was also evidence of the fact that Lu finds intolerance acceptable. Acceptable enough that she could marry it and procreate. Which means she could also vote for it. For me, the whole thing was just shocking. Perhaps more shocking than anything I've heard a HW say at a reunion (with the exception of everything Teresa G said at every reunion). But it was the way that she talked about it. The Count didn't like Jacque because he was Jewish. Zoom in on the face of Andy - her boss and a Jewish man. She said it like it was no big thing. Like he didn't like McDonalds or something. Like it was perfectly understandable because - as Lu said I believe - The Count was French. She didn't seem to see anything particularly shocking about a person feeling that way, which said a lot.
  11. IMO she was being a bitch. There are many other interviews she has done over the last two years. She called her dumb and lazy when it was announced the Bethenny would be on Shark Tank. Said Bethenny had no real skills with the exception of being able to surround herself with smart people. Said recently that Bethenny was a bad mother. That she let other people raise her daughter. I believe in the same interview she also said she knows nothing about Bethenny and doesn't want to. Said that she would probably cheat on Dennis, and that she cheated on her first husband. Talk like that doesn't come out of the blue. A person just doesn't suddenly morph into being that hateful and cruel. She does more every time she gives an interview to solidify the fact that she was a horrible mother and that what Bethenny says about her childhood must be true. I also find it incomprehensible that folks from these rags are calling her up randomly to get her comments. It sounds like she calls them up and gives them stuff about Bethenny from time to time to keep her own name out there.
  12. Right. Like a lot of people. I don't many folks - from either side - that went into the booth with the opportunity to vote for the person that they actually wanted above all to be President. They made a choice between the candidates that were on the ballot. I was responding to the poster that said Bethenny implied she didn't vote for Hillary. She didn't imply that.
  13. Well, no. Hence the hullabaloo that has transpired since. And Beth implied nothing, unless saying "I voted for HRC" is implying that she didn't vote for HRC.
  14. But she must have allowed it. She allowed someone to take her picture. A picture she would have no control in editing. She allows herself to be on this show, where the power to edit belongs to Bravo. She takes pictures at all kinds at various events and on red carpets where she has no control over the edit. All kinds of pictures that folks can zoom in on for whatever flaw might be lurking. If she wasn't allowing it she would pull a Jason Hoppy and cover whatever she didn't want us to see.
  15. Aw, thanks Film Noire. Be warned - I am going to try to wear you down and come over to the dark side on the Bethenny Divorce Thread ;)
  16. So I am going to say something nice about Lu. I haven't done that much over the last couple of seasons, but credit should be given where credit is due. I thought that she was very gracious and almost emotional when Andy asked her if she better understood what Bethenny was saying to her in The Berkshire's. She seemed truly empathetic to Bethenny, and Lu often comes across as a person with little empathy to me. But I thought it was nice and I think that Bethenny appreciated it. I actually think that even after everything that happened with them last season, that they are in a very different place than they have ever been in before.
  17. I think the deal with Lu is that she always refers to it as the Penthouse. I have no idea if that is accurate, but then some days I am dumber than hair. I just think it is strange that she always has to mention it when talking about where she lives. Do people really talk like that?
  18. I could be alone on an island here, but I don't think that a person being unable to walk the runway during fashion week is the same as a transgendered person who wants to serve our country being told they cannot because of who they are.
  19. She has said more horrible stuff, IMO. This from last May. My favorite part is that because there are no hereditary medical conditions in the family, that must mean that Bethenny couldn't have a health crisis. She is a real piece of work to be sure: http://www.intouchweekly.com/posts/bethenny-frankel-mother-health-crisis-93301 “Bethenny is a publicity-mad drama queen. When she has a hangnail, she acts like her finger is falling off,” she exclusively reveals of the Skinnygirl mogul, who is refusing to reveal what she’s suffering from, saying only that it’s something “many women can relate to.” Bernadette continues, “Bethenny went into the hospital for an overnight medical procedure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was for a tummy tuck! I mean, there are no hereditary medical problems in our family, so I really can’t imagine what kind of issue she’s having.” But the reality star claims the condition is so serious that it’s forced her to explore a living will. “As far as her living will — I’m getting one made, too, and Bethenny won’t be a part of it, nor will her daughter [Bryn, 5],” says Bernadette. “She’s a miserable daughter, and if we never speak again, it’ll be too soon.”
  20. Girl, once the sight of you spreading your legs wide and getting your nether regions tended to have been beamed into my living room, or I know the kind of sex toys you put in your dishwasher, asking you who you have voted for is nothing. Certainly not rude. This, all day long.
  21. Bethenny seemed quite authentic in her comments, and they went along with the vibe you got from her Twitter feed on the topic. She was originally a Bernie supporter, and like many other folks, didn't really like her choice at the end. But she was completely honest about it, and the girl has a big business to run that some might say could be impacted by her choices. But she still says what she believes. Carole does as well. She took a ton of shit over on Twitter (and gave it right back), has read the comments about what people think about her strong stance, but she isn't hiding in a corner all afraid of what folks might think of her. The others just come across as very much afraid of how they will look if they answer that question. And they will be judged, just like they are judged for a million other reasons. But one has to wonder if things were going differently, and we were all tired of all the winning, would they be more willing to say more.
  22. We saw him very early in the season, then Bethenny mentioned that they were not seeing each other any longer while they tried to figure things out. Said they still cared about each other, but were taking a break.
  23. Exactly. And she voted for Andy's candidate. While the other gals who didn't still have jobs. Kind of proves the point. Although we have no actual idea why Heather is not on this season. Just a bunch of speculation.
  24. We have actual history on things like this. He didn't fire Yo on the BH show when she said that folks who were gay were making a "lifestyle choice". Nor did he fire Teresa G on the NJ show when she and her husband threw out what were clearly homophobic comments. He said in an interview that he thought that all of the NJ and OC gals voted for Trump (Heather Dubrow set him clear that she did not). I don't think their jobs will be in jeopardy because of the person they voted for. Perhaps for other reasons, but I don't think that will be one of them.
