  1. Well, I give Bethanny's relationship with Dennis the same chance of lasting as I do Luanne's with Tom. Lulu is rushing into hers too fast, and I can't see any man putting up with Bethanny's personality for long. I don't have as much of a problem with Luann being with a guy that dated Ramona a few times (and they both said they didn't sleep together) or a guy who, at some point, bedded Sonja as some here do. Besides, with all the men Sonja claims to have slept with, I don't believe her story about a ten year relationship with Tom. If she didn't have a problem with Ramona dating him, she shouldn't care about his relationship with Luann. i loved the Sex and the City reference someone made way up at the beginning of this thread regarding Luann's sudden upcoming nuptials...."I think we should get married." "Alrighty!" I can still picture Charlotte relaying that conversation to Carrie. Good times!
  2. Bethenny thinks her THs are so witty and funny. I don't find them to be either of these things; in fact, some of them don't even make sense. I hate Andy Cohen for letting this bitch steamroll over whichever castmate she wants whenever she wants. If he has, indeed, promised Bethenny her own show after a couple of seasons of HYNY, give it to her now, Andy, so she can fail, just as she did with her talk show. I can't think of anyone more deserving!
  3. I don't know why Tom being in a scene in the first season is even being brought up. That picture makes it look like there was some kind of relationship between Ramona and him. Since Ramona was 'happily' married at the time, I'm assuming the picture is showing Ramona trying to fix her girlfriend up with Tom, right? Right???
  4. I hope that, at the reunion, Luann warns the other women not to let Bethenny near their men since she had no problem stealing one of her best friends' husbands. Therefore, she'd have no qualms about going after theirs since none of them are really friends anyway (except the one who has her lips firmly planted on Bethenny's ass).
  5. I thought Luann's apology to Carole at Ramona's party sounded very sincere, yet Carole said it sounded 'a little more sincere' than the last one. What is Luann supposed to do, keep apologizing until Carole deems it to be sincere enough for her? i haven't see Luann broadcasting her sexual exploits as mentioned by someone in an earlier post. Of course she has no need to since Bethenny feels it's her job to do it for her. That motormouth never stops to take a breath when she's on a tangent. She is a nasty piece of work and I find her SO exhausting!
  6. I'm liking the new GG. She's not getting wasted all the time or fighting with everyone. A refreshing change.
  7. I haven't figured out how to do quotes on my new iPad yet, but I want to respond to Shoegal's remark "If there is nothing wrong with being sexual free, why is slut an insult?" I consider myself sexually free, but that doesn't make me a slut; therefore I would definitely take offense at being called one. Of course the word is an insult, just as Betheny meant it to be. Luann saying she is dating, having fun and seeing people is the truth. However involved she is with any of the men she sees is absolutely none of anyone else's business. She doesn't owe those women any explanations.
  8. I loved watching Bethenny ranting while Luann sat there, for the most part calm, with a smile on her face. The more Luann didn't react and scream back at Bethenny, the more loud and screechy Bethenny got, until she practically had smoke coming out of her ears. She's not use to someone not being intimidated by her. Luann isn't my favorite by far, but I enjoyed seeing her get Bethenny to lose her shit on such a grand scale.
  9. Good lord, Meri's constant crying is getting old! If I was that miserable, I'd move out of the cul de sac, find a nice little house, get a job and leave Robin and Christine to vie for the douchebag!s attention. I don't think Janelle even cares enough to compete with the others. i can understand Mariah being upset with what Meri did, but making all about herself? She needs to cut her mom some slack, and Meri needs to stop misrepresenting what she did. If "Sam" had been a man, she would have been gone in a heartbeat.
  10. It was nice to see that GG wasn't drunk on her ass at Asa's party. I had to laugh when she said (after they poured MJ into the car) "And they call me the crazy one?" She seems to have mellowed out a little since the camping trip intervention.
  11. Kelly is so passive/aggressive. All this week she has tried to come across as beasties with Michael; however her little digs, being seen outside carrying Anderson Cooper's book, the book'David and Goliath', and wearing the jacket with'Freedom' on the back isn't fooling anyone. She's not as clever as she thinks she is, Eta: That was supposed to be "besties" above, not "beasties". Damned autocorrect!
  12. Persia was the name of the country until 1935, when the name was changed to Iran.
  13. I read that it took Kim something like 16 hours to get ready for the Gala, so I expected her to look spectacular. This dress looks better than the couch cover, but I can't see how it could take 16 hours to get the current look.
  14. I'm not a fan of Kim and would never make excuses for her, but when she and Rinna had their little talk, and she mentioned Rinna's outrage about the lunch with Yo, I had to shake my head when Lisa said it was HER business and she didn't want to discuss it with Kim. I wish Kim would have said, "I can respect that, but it would have been nice if you had stayed out of MY business and stopped hounding me about it when I asked you repeatedly to stop." Kim's sobriety was the business of her family and close friends; Lisa was NOT a family insider and should have dropped it when asked, just as she should stop flapping her gigantic lips about the Yo/LVP mess. Why the fuck does she feel the need to insert herself in everyone else's business? If I had been at Kyle's shindig, I would have been with the group who stayed after the stupid drama and joined the dance party. Rinna and Eileen don't know how to have fun and enjoy a party. Lisa couldn't even take the time to give Kyle the bottle of wine she brought before whisking Yolanda away to start running her mouth. When she wasn't talking about Yo/LVP, she wanted to know what everyone else was saying about it. Between Rinna and Eileen, they sure can put a damper on a party!
  15. The Potomac women can't get through a conversation without bringing up etiquette, and with the Dallas broads (especially Leanne) the word is charity. It would make a good drinking game if I found any of these self absorbed twits in the least interesting. Since I found every one of them totally boring, I'm going to pass on this franchise.
  16. Leslie, the woman who's husband died seven years ago and is in a rut, looked so familiar to me. I'm sure I've seen her on some reality show before, perhaps as a pal of the women on one of the many Housewives franchises. Did she seem familiar to anyone else?
  17. Well, if Grandpa Duggar cheated and that made him not Christian enough, doesn't that mean that Joshie is also not Christian enough for JB? Oh wait, we're talking about the golden boy here, so that can't be the case. Blaming the devil for Josh's failings is bullshit. Didn't God give man free will? Josh chose his behavior. Another thing that burns me is that they don't hold Josh responsible for his actions, but Anna is made to feel like she failed in some way.
  18. I didn't watch the show and, from what I've read here, I'm glad I didn't. Seeing JimBob hamming it up in any form or fashion makes my blood pressure soar, so its detrimental to my health. Since it looks like he's going to be pushing himself in front of the camera in every episode, I won't be watching at all. Not to mention that it sounds like the show is a boring, hot mess. However, I did watch The Willis Family, and what stands out to me is the fact that when they talk about each other, the parents (and kids) actually know the likes, talents and personalities of the other family members. In one scene, one of the sisters sought out the oldest boy (Jair) who's engagement was called off and she was concerned about him. She plopped down on the couch next to him (with no one else in the room - gasp!) and they had a nice conversation. When have we ever seen one of the Duggar girls actually have a meaningful conversation with one of their brothers? They're not even allowed to be alone in a room with one of the boys because you know what will happen if there's not someone to keep them accountable. Then the youngest girl (4 years old) ran into the room and jumped up on Jair's lap. It is obvious that these kids all adore each other. Its so sad that the little girls in the Duggar family can only sit on daddy's lap, thanks to both Josh's actions and the fact that ANY contact between boys and girls before marriage is not allowed. JimBob and Michelle's preoccupation with all things sexual is mind blowing. A pox on TLC for giving these sick people a platform to spew their disgusting beliefs.
  19. Whoopie always looks a hot mess, but IMO she looked especially bad at the Oscars. She's quite homely to begin with, and neither the dress nor the hairdo did her any favors. Yuck! Watching Raven show how stupid she is by using words that she doesn't even know the meaning of (like plethora) is one of the only things I enjoy about this show. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy it enough to watch daily, so I appreciate all of you who do watch and report back. I also can't stand to watch all the Full/Fuller House crap because I can't stand Candace or Bob Sagat. I was also thinking of moving to Canada if Trump won the ELECTION, but have decided that Canada isn't big enough for both Raven and me!
  20. All reality shows on TV are scripted, but I don't pay much attention to that because I watch this show for entertainment only. What isn't scripted are the kids' reactions to all the things Bill and Jen expose them to, and its delightful to watch their curiosity and exuberance for all the things they're introduced to. They have such expressive faces and are so entertaining that I'm mesmerized by both of them. I also find Bill and Jen to be really likeable people, whether or not I agree with everything they do. Its fun getting to watch them raise two cute little kids.
  21. I can't find it right now, but am I the only one who read on Yahoo this morning that Erin Bates Paine and Lawson both have turned their backs on the whole Gothard/ATI thing? Finally, someone from that group growing a brain and making their own choices rather than blindly following the teachings of that old pervert like the Duggars do.
  22. We can only hope and pray! I HATE TLC for continuing to give this bunch of lazy, greedy, judgmental group of morons a platform to spew their boring bullshit. Now excuse me while I barf!
  23. I can't compare Kim with Yolanda when it comes to their diseases and being on the show. Yolanda says she is using her lyme disease (whether she even has it or not is questionable at best) to bring awareness to the disease and made it her storyline. Kim didn't use her alcohol addiction to bring awareness nor did she try to make it her storyline. In fact, it was her secret that she lied about, denied she had a problem with, and actually thought she could fool everyone. That's what alcoholics and addicts do; they lie, deny and try to convince others that they're wrong (or to blame). The day Kim has admitted to herself what she is and is in actual recovery, she may look back and be mortified at her behavior on the show. In the meantime, Yolanda will find the cure for lyme disease and bask in her awesomeness.
  24. Why should Kim's family need to validate anything to LisaR? They didn't do anything to her. If anyone needs to validate/explain/apologize to Lisa, it is Kim, and only Kim, and there's no chance of that happening as long as Kim doesn't admit she has a problem (and be sincere about it). Personally, I think that Kim's disease never should have been highlighted on the show; TPTB should have removed her from the show when it became clear that she was filming while under the influence. If LisaR felt so threatened during the car ride with Kim, she had every right to announce her fear to the cameraman and driver, and demand to be removed from the situation. That's what I would have done if I were that fearful. Now, a year later, she's still SO traumatized. Of course, that's her choice, but I still feel very strongly that she shouldn't be bringing it up in a group that includes Kyle, knowing full well that it makes Kyle uncomfortable. When Kyle got up and left the table, and Lisa said "I'm sorry, Kyle", I wish Kyle would have told her to take her apology and shove it up her ass. LisaR has a habit of bring up sensitive subjects, no matter who is around. As much as I don't like Kim, I had to side with her on the several occasions when Lisa would confront her about her "addiction", like when she was doing it on the plane and Kim kept telling her to keep her name out of her mouth. Lisa isn't stupid and should have realized that she wasn't going to get anywhere by poking the bear. Come on, lips, show a little self awareness, mind your own business and leave the diagnosing to the professionals. Better yet, get your own storyline instead of hijacking Kim's and Yolanda's.
  25. Unlike some others, I have no problem with Kyle talking about Kim with Bethenny, Faye and Adrienne. You know the old saying "I can find fault with members of my family, but don't YOU talk about them"? This group of ladies (Katherine, Erika, LisaR, etc.) are Kyle's co-workers, not close friends, so she shouldn't have to sit there and listen to them discuss Kim. However, everyone needs someone they can talk to about intimate things, and Kyle is very close to Faye and obviously feels that Bethenny and Adrienne are good enough friends that she feels comfortable discussing her feelings regarding Kim with them. I totally get it.
