  1. Funny you say that because when the episode started, I knew for certain the guest star on this episode was some child actor I was familiar with. I was frantically googling Jurassic Park, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory etc. but I couldn't come up with it. IMDB informed me it's Joseph Cross from the movie "Jack Frost".
  2. OH yeah the cute line this time was Carisi saying "A real cocaine and Abel story." And was it Fin who asked if Carisi was "this grumpy as a detective"? Wasn't Fin there? Or maybe that's part of the "humour".
  3. The rape at the beginning of the episode was obviously SVU, but murdering the victim - why did this all stay with SVU? Does that make sense in real life? The father was so bad too , just leaving his son with the mother like that. "A dysfunctional mother is better than no mother"? He wouldn't have had no mother, his nanny would have been his stepmother. Makes no sense. How selfish. The nanny is this wonderful angel who rescues the husband, but NOT the child? Please! Like I've been saying for 3-4 weeks this show is going full crazy this season. I am not exactly complaining but it's very odd. This episode was just one big showcase for Olivia to judge the mother. She SHOULD be judged, but it doesn't exactly seem like the right place or person. Also, the rapist son should be judged too, like Carisi pointed out. He's 32! Olivia telling Muncy to put her jacket away also struck me as very weird.
  4. I feel like that about all competition shows like this - fashion ones too. I know Chopped a lot better than this show and on Chopped I definitely notice a bias. There are certain judges on there who will lecture and yell at chefs, flirt with chefs, comment on their looks etc. which is ridiculous. Anyway, blind judging would help eliminate some of this petty bullshit.
  5. Sometimes my favourite dish is the judges' favourite dish. This time, the dish I wanted the most was Amar's 😄😄😄 Honey fried chicken and orange pancakes! That looked good to me! Buddha and Begonia were really affronted but I also don't blame them. But yeah. Buddha was Not Having It. LOL I didn't think Begonia was the obvious boot. I thought it would be Gabri (?). I don't know who has been in the bottom more between the two though. I assumed Gabri because I think he was in trouble episode 1.
  6. People go to Thailand because it's insanely beautiful with a great culture and incredible food, among other things. Even if things cost less once you're there doesn't mean it's a shitty place to go. It also costs thousands to get there by plane. And you have to have enough privilege to take that much time off of work. It takes more than 24 hours to get there, so you're not just going to hop over for a day or two, unless you are insanely wealthy and very used to flying. Maybe I'm not really sure what point you're trying to make, but I think it will be just as nice as Sicily and Hawaii. There are definitely luxurious places there. It is an entire country that dwarfs both of those places in both population and size so there is a lot of opportunity.
  7. Santina is just the wooorrrrrrrrrrrrst at this. She brought all of the suspicion onto herself. WHAT WAS THE POINT, what was the reason? She could have just kept her mouth shut and acted normal but she insisted on 1. Stalking Renee like prey from room to room 2. Declaring in front of many witnesses she was gunning for POV to take Ty off the block because "That's my guy" 3. Get UPSET AT TY FOR TAKING HIMSELF OFF THE BLOCK (we know he didn't, she knew he didn't but still) 4. Get upset at Ty for supposedly not trusting her. ?????????????? Starting a huge fight with him??????? Oh my god, I can't stand how bad she is at everything So is Santina forced to throw this HOH comp because she can't be HOH twice in a row?
  8. thank you. Something really funky is going on. It always shows up at the END of Abbott for me. And I keep Googling Chuck Lorre + this show and finding zero connection. Sigh.
  9. Soooooooooooo many things I can't understand. 1. Why would Hope trust Daniel 2. Why would Daniel trust Ty. So stupid. 3. Santina is RIDICULOUS. Stalking Renee all through the house. And I hate Renee! It's like I want to like Santina so bad but she makes it so fucking hard. 4. Renee is rIDICULOUS. She acts like she's Tony fucking Soprano! Nobody is allowed to do anything against her? Who is she? I hate how they called it an Invisible POV competition when everyone could see everyone else! WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE KEY? WHAT DID IT EVEN MATTER? Was that how they found the scale/reference point? Ugh, I don't even know what I'm watching anymore. LOL. So many tiny sub alliances but the whole picture makes no sense.
  10. What does Chuck Lorre have to do with this show? I keep seeing his tags at the end of the closing scene.
  11. Ali Wong has a new movie out with Steven Yeun and she's making the promotional rounds. Jason Bateman is also promoting "Air" but I think I'm being too hopeful with that one.
  12. Seriously, he was so good in that! My mother went on a trip and bought all of her kids presents. What's the first thing she says? "These bags are nice, and I want them back."
  13. https://www.tvinsider.com/1087826/according-to-jim-reboot-jim-belushi-growing-belushi-season-3/ Jim Belushi talks a bit about SNL here and his friendship/partnership with Dan Aykroyd. I liked Murder Mystery 2 much more than the first Murder Mystery, and I've been having a great time watching Adam and Jennifer Aniston and all of their interviews the past couple of weeks. I think Adam implied Lorne tried to get Jennifer on SNL the same time that Adam was on the show, but she wanted to do the serialized shows instead.
  14. This episode was fun for me. Cool to learn that Santina is Indigenous. Feeling more open minded towards her now that Zach is finally gone. Cannot understand why Dan S. acted that way towards Santina in the kitchen. He is not HOH and has no power but was acting so sassy towards her like he was holding all the cards. Trying to figure out how that helps him. 😄
  15. Well Chandler did quit his job in Season 10 right. They definitely talked about money for those episodes and I think Joey was finally doing better than him. That's how both Chandler and Mon asked Joey to borrow money.
  16. Thank you for being the first one to say it. From show to show and decade to decade I feel like I am being attacked by John Corbett is hot propaganda. I guess some producers and writers really feel like that but I will never believe it, you will never make me and it will never work. Give it a rest. The episode 2 episodes ago, took me a week to get through. A week. And the episodes are only 20 minutes. I watch shows with episodes that are 3x that with no problem. It's not funny enough and there's no stakes. They need one or the other and some shows even have both.
  17. Very good point. So sick of them hyping up people in audition rounds and quietly cutting them during HW with no clip or explanation. I'm now starting to wonder if Fire made some kind of deal with a producer to get exposure on this show, so she could get a lot of social medial followers or something. Because the soap opera that they're writing for her is so complicated with so many episodes, there has to be some kind of reason. I too don't understand why Kaya didn't just sing sick, also, gross, she was so close to Fire so she could have easily spread the sickness to Fire, no masks, no quarantine, nothing. The whole thing is weird AF!
  18. I think the men are pretty good looking - Marshall, Paul, Brett.
  19. How many episodes have been devoted to the drama that surrounds Fire? This is 3 now, or has it been four? It is very, very, very hard for me to believe this isn't completely manufactured. I understand people get sick, but, there's a lot I'm very suspicious about here. It feels like a producer writing a story. LOL. You're making me see this in a new light. I should watch it again with your attitude. They performed it in a very pared down, acoustic way. It made me see the song in a whole new light. It doesn't sound like the original. It was really cool.
  20. I'll try to add songs that were sung here as I am watching. Feel free to post. My Girl - The Temptations I Put a Spell On You - Screamin' Jay Hawkins You are the Reason - Calum Scott (Country song? I don't know? Sorry LOL) I'm Still Standing - Elton John (First Round) - Oh my god this is majorly cringe. From Katy's dancing and cheering to the performance - what an utter trainwreck lol. I actually can't believe it didn't go worse but I could barely watch. (Isaac?) made a big mistake focusing way too much on choreography. If you can't remember a song, then don't fucking choreograph dancing. How beyond frustrating was that entire thing. Don't Stop me Now - Queen Buy Dirt - Jordan Davis ft. Luke Bryan The Weeknd - Save your Tears - Holy crap. When I realized what song it was, goosebumps everywhere. Sorry yes, his name is Iam. Thank you to all who pointed that out, I have been spelling it wrong. I'm still standing by Elton John (Second round) - Trio. Well they really showed up Zachariah and Isaac. Hit em up Style by Blu Cantrell - Such an odd choice by this show. It was such a one hit wonder, wasn't it? I loved this song but that was 20 years ago and people of this generation shouldn't know this song. Do they? LOL. Very creative and fun performance though. Very confident. Listen to the Music - The Doobie Brothers Whatdya Want from Me? - Adam Lambert The fact that Matt Wilson made that girl audition for him, LOL. Gee. I thought he was humbler than that. They also played The Golden Girls theme song "Thank you for Being a friend" and "That's not my Name" by the Ting Tings. Also some John Legend song I think. "Never Break" by John Legend.
  21. Personally, I do not have "Zack love" I just can't stand the way some of those women talk about him. It's nasty.
