I think Jade looks just like Giada. I remember seeing pictures of Giada as a baby after she had Jade, and they looked like the same child, and now that Jade is older, she looks EXACTLY like Giada did in middle/high school (pictures are available online), IMO. I think Giada and Jade are close, or as close as a mother and daughter can be when the mother travels a lot for work. That said, I agree...I'm glad that no one in my family is famous. I'm a very private person and have less than no desire for the spotlight.

The Trash Juice sounds better than I thought it would be, too. If it wasn't...you know...made in a trash can...

I have to say that I'm LOVING Giada in Italy. The Amalfi Coast is one of my bucket list places, and I love watching Giada explore her grandparent's old stomping grounds. The food looks delicious (for the most part), and I love the house they're staying in (on Sunday's episode, there were a bunch of family pictures on a table, so I wonder if that is a family home). And I absolutely covet those copper pots she's been using in this series, although I can imagine they would be a pain to clean. Giada's mother has been in this series, in the episode where they're at the restaurant with the guy who makes pasta and potatoes (is that what it was?). She and Giada's stepfather were at the table with Jade. I've never heard her talk publicly about her father, and actually would be surprised if she ever did (although it would be very brave of her, if the stories are true). I have to laugh at the thought of Jade somehow living a "lesser" lifestyle with her father because he makes a measly 15 million/year compared to Giada's 20 million.

Or maybe, as in my case, there was nothing better on, since both Grey's Anatomy and Big Bang Theory are over for the season. I used to love this show. Now I don't care if I miss a handful of episodes...when I do catch one, it feels like I haven't missed anything.

Seriously, this show is coming back again already? Didn't last season just end? I may have to stop watching, this is just getting to be too much, and one season is blending into the next.

I don't think he was an invalid. I think she was just overly "motherly" towards him.
