True indeed! My daughter looked so much like my husband as a baby, but after she turned a year old, everyone said she was my mini-me. She's 5 and people still say "she looks just like you!"

She was teaching a class at Bar Method here recently and she looked great in person! Oh man, Judy choking up got me all bawling and stuff! Will so miss Jinelle!

I imagine the adrenaline rush they get from actually performing at a game is quite different than the nervous energy that comes with auditions. The game rush would fuel your fire and keep you going throughout. At auditions, it's almost unfair because your muscles can get zapped so quickly from nerves, even if you generally have amazing stamina.

Agreed and I came here to say this very thing! I love Phil! He's seems so sweet and he's very encouraging and respectful of all the ladies. He is like the fun uncle everyone wants to hang with!

I was glad to hear Kelli emphasizing dance technique already in this round due to the fact that several girls in the past have made into TC with terrible technique and really just have no business being there because of their looks alone (i.e. Emily, former DMD dancer)

I talked to Nicole Bulcher at Bar Method tonight after a class, and she said that it was difficult enough to sustain full-time employment when she was on the squad (but she did!) and since then, it seems every year, they require more and more of the girls' time and commitment. My guess is this is why we are seeing fewer girls going for 5 years and more and more girls quitting like last year mid-season. It's going to become damn near impossible if they don't treat them like full-time employees at some point. KaShara is an instructor at Bar Method too, but she has so little time to teach, that she's only there once in a while.

I just think Dayton is so beautiful! I would've loved to have seen her on the team this year! She seems very real and genuine too.

Spoiler for Season 13! I talked to Nicole Bulcher at her Bar Method studio the other day after a class. She said that a CMT producer contacted her about filming for a "Where Are They Now" segment for the upcoming season about some of the alumni. Just thought I'd share! :)

@ShellyB, I was wondering if during the quarter change dances, do all four corners do the same choreography? Kelli has said on the podcast that the quarter changes are unscripted and that the group leaders have to start dancing choreo that fits whatever music gets played at the time. So it made me wonder how they would all be doing the same choreo if that was the case.

Her solo is getting lots of love and praise on Twitter by other DCCs. She might be the breakout star this season kinda like KaShara was last season.

OMG! I just saw Nicole this afternoon at her Bar Method studio! I was taking the 2pm class that her sister and Co-owner Erin was teaching and she was in the class too! I got to talk with her afterwards and seriously, she is so incredibly sweet! She's much tinier in person too! She looks awesome and so beautiful! Oh and Ashton Torres Little was also in the class and was helping me out as I worked next to her. She's much tinier in person too but very strong! She and Nicole are like #GOALS! Ashton was also very nice :) Loved being able to meet them and work alongside them. Very encouraging ladies!

Um so guys are actually allowed to try out for this?! How would that work if they actually made it? Wouldn't they have to design a special uniform for a man and would he be doing the exact same thing dance was as everyone else? I could see it if it was a true cheer squad with stunting and all or even a hip hop team, but this makes no sense to me for DCC. Someone please enlighten me.

Man, it's almost dangerous that Kalyssa is going full steam on maybe 3 hours of sleep a night. Poor girl! I would be dead. No wonder she's so exhausted.

Well Shelly and company need to stop acting so annoyed that we want answers. Don't have a show if you're going to leave stuff out that's that major.

Yes!!! I mean don't get me wrong, Kashara is awesome at point. I want her to stay there for the season, but maybe next year, Madeline could have a shot. She's been such an amazing DCC story from emotional wreck to a huge asset to the team in so many ways. All I can say is, trying to hide Erica this season was LAME! And you know they're going to ignore any and all questions about her sudden disappearance. Ridiculous!

Not so much on the Erica stuff. Like NOTHING has been shown on her AT ALL! It's only been beat to death on this board. I for one would like to know what really happened. Not just speculation and rumors.

One thing that upsets me is that this 13 episode so-called "extended" season was not what we expected. Not like Season 7 where they actually went beyond the squad announcement into the regular season. All they did this time was drag out the auditions and training camp. So pissed. Oh btw, my DVR guide says that there is a "surprising departure" tonight. Interesting.

I live in Dallas now. I will say that it can be humid here for sure. This past summer has been moreso than usual. West Texas is dry and East Texas is very humid. So Dallas being in between kinda has a mix of both. Not too dry but not overly humid either. I am guessing the midwest humidity of Ohio was much more than they deal with here normally. Jenna's an idiot. I don't feel bad for her AT ALL. I think Kashara is great at point. I hope she stays there. I don't know why people keep harping on her dancing. She looks pretty good to me!

Looks like they're cutting the Erica stuff completely from the show entirely. Like "nothing to see here...move along!" I did catch a quick glimpse or two of Erica in her warm up suit at HOF and then again, back at The Star sitting on the ground at one point. But it doesn't look as though they are going to show her getting cut next week at all. So annoying that they're just going to pretend it's not happening.

Wow! I really cannot believe how much defense there is of Jenna? Really?! C'mon, there's seriously no other way to explain that behavior. She's only proving more and more how self centered she really is.
