  1. Agree about the Austin reno. Hated it! Way too "busy" for my taste. I guess blue cabinets and brass hardware will be trending now. Speaking of which, those drawer pulls were huge! I thought the half bath looked better before. Hated the new wallpaper. I thought for sure they would go with house #3.
  2. Totally pointless. They both bugged me. He's worried about playing ball in the yard with kids they don't have yet...
  3. I'm not sure I would ever invest that much money in that condo. I wonder if they over improved it. Also didn't like the brass with the stainless appliances.
  4. I live in the Alpharetta area and cannot imagine why they would even consider a home in Grayson when there are hundreds on the market in the towns surrounding and closer to Alpharetta. And Sugar Hill? That was also so random. I suppose if I weren't familiar with the area it wouldn't have bothered me. There are plenty of nice houses within their budget near Alpharetta.
  5. I saw it also and found ms blogger to be rather annoying. She was just so full of herself. I really cracked up when she posed for some of those shots. I also didn't like the bathroom. The floor plan was so odd. Did they ever show the rest of the house?
  6. Just watched Mark and LeeAnn. She's a SAHM (6 kids!) and he's a pastor. Their budget surprised me. I wonder what kind of income a pastor makes.
  7. While I did like the reno, I don't see how it added any charm or character. I don't know anything about the neighborhood, but I doubt I would even look at that house. Nothing about it said Victorian to me.
  8. Just watched a young couple in Chicago. The designer wanted to put the stove under the kitchen windows. I know it's against code in many places. Hated the tile on the walls, and too many finishes...brass, stainless, copper...
  9. And don't forget about the magnets on the refrigerator.
  10. I think the most annoying comment to me is "tall ceilings." I always think about ceilings as being high, not tall.
