  1. The minute the realtor launched into the story about feeding it etc I thought the same thing. I watched the rest of that showing looking for other clues.
  2. I love all the cottages in Yorkshire. And I'm convinced that is a working sheep farm. The costumes as well are so well done. Whenever I see Caroline at school I think yes that is what the headmistress at a fancy school wears. Celia looks so smart in her sweaters over slacks. And the visual change in William is just what I see with boys going off to college and returning as young men. It's like all that awkward starts to go away as they come into their own. The scenes with Caroline and William seem very real. That makes the lack of chemistry with Kate all the more odd. It's not like she can't act. I'm wondering if she is actually acting false in the relationship? The wedding outfits were just perfect. Loved everyone's get up. I loved the young boys in their kilts. That is just how these things end up. For so many that is their one dress up outfit well into their teens. I'm really upset that of all the series for PBS to decide to show us in a timely manner this is the one. Otherwise I would be watching ahead online.
  3. I don't know why Bromstead didn't say something about it. A frig is one of the least expensive things to move and they had more than enough room since they moved the washer/dryer. Just odd that it ended up that way. Since I know about the cost of utilities in LA the change to a tankless was major and will really help with resale. I think that the resale is what is winning the challenges. Last week a dual vanity and this week a tankless water heater. Design wise I'm not into the big hairs aesthetic. For resale as blah as the sisters are I can see their rooms being the ones I could see putting my stamp on the easiest. That empty wall in the kitchen was screaming for a bakers rack.
  4. The actress that plays Kate, Nina Sosanya, is in the current BBC series Silk. We've only had the 2011 series in the US but it went on for a number of seasons in the UK. She is excellent there. Nicola Walker was just on a significant story arc on Scott & Bailey. It's the incredible skills of Sarah and Nicola that make their scenes together so real and enjoyable. Why aren't these two in feature films?
  5. Poor Gillian. I wonder if her father's guess that she finished Eddie off is closer to the deed that was done as opposed to an beginning to end murder. Each time this comes up we get more details but it becomes cloudier as well. I was fearful that Gillian would always resent Caroline. Raff was so impressed with Caroline, 'She read Chemistry at Oxford!' So the fact that the two of them shared such giggle over the hotel thinking they were getting married was a very sweet moment. Kate needs to stop being so self centered. Did she think the transition that Caroline was making was one nice smooth sail? It's rocky to watch someone come out later in life. I've seen it in friends and it takes patience from everyone. Poo boys with their father being such an idiot, their mother struggling with her future, crazy stuff. I really liked the interaction between Allen and William. So sweet. So this isn't going to be one big happy fun romp. I'm okay with that. I like all the different stories and how everyone is trying to make things work out. For now I'm most sad for Lawrence and Gillian. But I'm sure that changes as the episodes play out. They are filming season 3. We see the traditional BBC Christmas special next week. I was a little fearful after reading of the terrible accident that Derek Jacoby had. But if they are filming then things must be working out.
  6. I totally get the married couple winning since it was made clear that it was resale, resale, resale. I do not think that given the market in that type of building that not having a bathtub would be that be a deal. But two sinks, yup I see it. I liked what the twins were going for in the shower. It looked big and lush. And I'm sure there are a lot of couples and bachelors looking in that type of fourplex. But they just never get it done. The married couple bumped out a wall and got it done.
  7. ROL is now reporting that Sonja is helping Bravo recast RHONY. She is a darling of the network so they are building the new cast around her. She is actively looking and bringing friends in now. I. just. can't.
  8. No he said the barn not farm. That is where the incident happened. I think if her husband put his head in a log splitter that her hitting him with a log would be like a mercy killing. But the whole thing really creeps me out. I doubt I'd want to be within 100 miles of the log splitter.
  9. I'm hoping someone that saw this series can answer a nagging question of mine. When they were choosing the script (and fighting like crazy) M. Night Shyamalan optioned one of the loser's scripts. Anyone else remember what the script was about? Did it ever make it into production?
  10. In the article I read he was listed in both. He did refuse to say whether we would see Matt/Ben on The Chair. So fingers crossed.
  11. I just saw that STARZ is airing a series called The Chair. It features Chris Moore with two directors directing from the same script. Lots of a Project Greenlight folks suddenly.
  12. I remember at the time understanding the analogy that Rosie was making. I remember how gobsmacked I was that Bill Geddes, I mean Elizabeth would not answer Rosie's question. There are thousands of military that receive their limbs and rehab at the Center for the Intrepid in Texas. This was a project that Rosie supported with a whole lotta zeros on a check and a whole lotta fund raising. She spoke at the ground breaking. There were pictures all over Fox news with Rosie and John McCain yukking it up together. And Elizabeth cared more about the little voice in her head (Geddes) than the truth about someone that was sitting next to her, had her children at her home and called her a friend. It was when I stopped watching The View. So change all the people you want but I will tune in again when Bill Geddes leaves. He is Darth Vader in this stuff. Andy Cohen is just a sith apprentice.
  13. I do hope the DC buyers end up on HH Renovations. I thought the bit at the beginning where one described what he wanted and the other described what they would buy was very cute. If other HHs are trying for this kind of banter they should watch this episode. This is what it looks like when it is done with humor and love. What? I missed this. Was it in the last minute that TiVo hates?
  14. I'm a crazy OCD cleaner. I dislike curtains for the same reason. When I renovated I put n a steam shower. That means millions of spots. The contractor was all about getting this diamond coating on the inside of the glass. So this coating diffuses the light or something because you can't see spots from the outside. Really changed my mind about glass doors.
  15. See? It's not funny just because you think it is Sonja. It's starting to approach creepy Aviva dad territory. And Ramoana is so negative about absolutely everything. If I was married to her I would be looking for someone new as well.
  16. ROL is reporting that Avivas pervert and his girlfriend are getting a spin off. Ack, I just can't.
  17. Here is the thing about what to believe or not believe. The internet is full of people that simply make something up and repeat it and repeat it and suddenly it is the truth. It is impossible to unring a bell. If we are going to comment on items then we need to educate ourselves on the source as well as the information. So on that note. Radar generally has a source. Friends/family/publicist. Their information will only be as true as the source. They sometimes claim lie detector but sources have come out saying that never happened. Naughty/Nice Rob? He's not got a good track record. Daily Mail? Better than average. TMZ? They are interesting. They get a LOT of their info from court documents. They actually go and get access. Unless proceedings are closed, and Bethenny's is not closed, they report on what they read. I don't trust email and I don't trust anything that is on a computer. I work with that all day and I can write email that has the Queen of England messing around with Justin Beiber. It takes a very skilled forensic specialist to untangle that. We all make our own decisions on information. I bet most of us have changed our opinion on the reliability of something over the last 10 years. So I think the hacking/taping allegation was indeed true. It was TMZ. It was court documents. There was no rebuttal from Jason's camp on ROL. But if I didn't believe that allegation then I wouldn't believe any of them. That would include Bethenny asking for primary custody.
  18. I can handle despotting what I want to know is how your keep it clean were the bowl intersects with the counter? Are they using putty? Can't you see that through the glass? What kind of brush will let you clean that edge underneath the bowl? I'm puzzled every time I see that. Plus I'm thinking that in 20 years people will walk into that house and sneer at those vessel sinks like they sneer at brass fixtures now. 'That's so 2000.'
  19. The other thing that we don't know is what else came up that wasn't part of Bethenny's testimony. Unlike tv reports that outline $$ or the evaluation of the child are often delivered to litigants after the court room banter has started. So for all we know Jason's forensic request was denied. Or the report on their daughter's evaluation was delivered. Then B/J came to a settlement. The fact that Brynn's evaluation had information that one or both of the parents did not want made public or was damaging to one of them may have been the reason for settling.
  20. I kept reserving judgement. You know reminding myself that we are only seeing minutes of a life in the 30 minutes of tv. But then the baby was coming. Bethenny went into labor dangerously early. She started throwing things in a bag and told Jason to call the hospital and the doctor. We see her ask several times, who are you talking to? Jason was calling friends and family. She said call the doctor over and over. It wasn't until her assistant took his phone away that he even helped his wife. Then we watch her assistant call the hospital. So that's when I decided I didn't care for this man. Hate? Puleeze he is only in my life on tv. But I do have an opinion and it is not a good one.
  21. The girl that played Nellie Olsen on Little House on the Prairie wrote a book about that character ruined her life. The other part of our life is that the cyberbullying isn't restricted to children on reality shows. So I just don't see the whole child on reality tv as that unique a threat to a happy childhood. Plus I am much more concerned about the children that are working for $1 a day making t-shirts for Walmart. That is a child working. Reality tv is a child performing. And I am absolutely not concerned about the life that Will and Zoey have or will have. I'm sure that the money will come in real handy since the average surgery in a lifetime for someone with their issues is over 30. That's going to cost some money.
  22. Exactly! Here is how I saw this going. Bethenny testifies. Gossip and judging ensues. (This did happen) Bethenny is cross examined. More judging, opinion battles ensue. Jason testifies. Opinion battles intensify to outright name calling. People get banned. Jason is cross examined. Half of us are proven right and the other half claim that they were not proven wrong. Most of us are now banned. Gossip, innuendo, family secrets …. It was going to be my summer. Ruined, just ruined.
  23. A source close to Hoppy said that he had his parents testifying for him and no one from her family would testify for her. So that meets Mr Creepy and his wife would testify but Bethenny's mother, who she has not talked to in 10 years, would not be testifying for her. But it's all gossip. We only really would have know if they had not settled. So for judgey judges like me I'm upset they settled. For Brynn, I'm glad they did.
  24. It was a photo shoot so they are out there. The other part of that were the two of them eating off the craft services set up for the people working on the shoot. All of her stories had outside witnesses. 'Tidbit of Stupid'? I don't think so. I think this is part of his campaign. There was the secret videos/audio that the judge put an end to as well. I think he is scary. And the fact that his father participated in his punishing of Bethenny is creepy.
