Just speculating here, but I think most of the problems with Kyle, Kim, and Kathy stem from Big Kathy and how they were raised. The 3 of them talk about her as if she was a wonderful loving mother, but there is some truth out there that she was anything but. Of course abused and exploited children/adults often make up stories or embellish for many reasons. Little Kim was supporting her family while Big Kathy groomed all three how to snag a rich guy. Little Kathy was expected to marry big time and she did. Kim did too, but the drugs and drinking took their toll. I am not saying Kyle is a saint, but I think she just wants her family to get along. She is addicted to wishing, hoping and the drama. Kathy to me looks medicated. Walking thru an airport in slippers like us mortals wear in private? Making a fuss about her tequilia? Who knows whats wrong with her, but we all know the biggest rule in that family is to NEVER let anyone know whats really going on. I do agree the whole cast has dirt and hidden secrets, but look where they live. In the city of make believe. Its all fake and fucked up.

Plus, she walks like she had an accident. The camera operators seemed to have noticed it too because they always film her from behind as often as possible.

Bill-lally doesn't seem to know that a pre-nup is not valid unless the other party has their own legal representation. We are buddies ! Ice Dancing warm ups were also my favorite. The sounds and the strength of the stroking always blew me away. In those days too, you could hardly hear a blade. These days a lot of skaters sound like hockey players.

After reading here I watched some of the ice dancing. I LOVED the Brits too, Fear and Gibson. I did like the Russians Singin In The Rain program, to me that is dancing. Brings back memories of one of my all time favorite programs. I was there in Halifax for Worlds, Also the year of Ito's triple axel and Chris Bowman's Desi Arnaz's Bob-a-loo meltdown on ice.

I am older so I am not a fan of how skating has changed, as I miss the flow and artistry. So, I think Karen Chen was robbed. I get the whole quad thing, but I feel her program was so far superior to the rest, even sans quad. And Bradies free skate dress? Awful, reminded me of an ashtray that needs to be cleaned. I agree. I hit rock bottom on Friday when for reasons I cannot figure out I binged watched Mama June. I thought this show(s) and 600 lb. Life were my rock bottoms, but I had further to fall.

I am taken back a lot of years listening and loving this song, Leave the Door Open. Just a little vent, because all these folks on Youtube who critique songs are all saying its Motown inspired. NOT ! With the exception of some influence of David Ruffin's and Eddie Kendricks vocals, its all the other non-Motown groups like the Delfonics, Stylistics, and the Dramatics that imo are what they were aiming for. The bridge with the da da da da is definitely Earth Wind and Fire esq. There are some very Bruno back and forth lyrics too, some of which are pretty funny. I have another one. I know someone who was on tour in one of the ice shows after Oppegard and Watson went pro. My friend said both of them would beat the hell out of each other in the dressing rooms before shows. This was a very long time ago, but the detail I do remember was that Jill was the more aggressive of the two.
