  1. I had my suspicions about Dot ever since she pushed the bogus story about the car explosion. But I also keep thinking Jenny is in on it somehow too. At this point I can’t decide which one is the red herring. Or maybe it’s both of them!
  2. I thought this season was great overall, but it seemed a bit heavy on the hand building. It seemed that they saved most of the throwing for the second challenges. They also didn’t really include many techniques that the potters might not be as familiar with, such as slip casting, that I feel like they had in past seasons. But I’ll definitely continue to watch!
  3. Overall I really liked this mix of contestants. And can Nancy come back and host the show? I forgot how much I love her dry sense of humor!
  4. I saw Hannah as someone extremely focused on work and her career, to the point of dropping other personal relationships (as we saw when she was trying to use her contact to book the Senator on the show), as well as possibly being a bit naive. Add into that the overwhelming emotions she was feeling at being at the epicenter of such a tragic event, and I thought her reaction to what Mitch did was totally plausible. Knowing what to say/do to get out of a situation like that, with such a vast power imbalance, while keeping your career intact, can take a level of sophistication that Hannah just didn’t posses. I think she was mentally and physically exhausted, shocked at what he was doing, plus running the mental calculations of what pushing him away and yelling no would do to her career and she just froze.
  5. This is where I’m at and why I would have liked for them to include a stopping point where someone goes to the Bad Place if they show no signs of improvement after X number of reboots. Otherwise, I loved this episode and thought it was one if the funniest of the series!
  6. I don’t know how I feel about the afterlife redesign. I like it in theory, but I have a hard time believing that Shawn would go for a plan that would not include sending at least some people to the Bad Place for traditional torture. Especially after how much the demons started complaining in the fake Good Place reboots about how they’re not actors. I have figured for a while now that some sort of purgatory would be included, but that that people would have a finite period of time to show whether they should go to the Good or Bad Place.
  7. I remember that episode from the first season and was wondering the same exact thing.
  8. Thank you for pointing this out! It drives me nuts when shows try to tackle infertility or pregnancy issues and get it wrong. I’m going to put my money on dumb writers who didn’t do any research. And yeah, it seems unlikely for someone like Louis, who has to talk about everything with everyone all the time, to have not mentioned religion before. Especially since they were previously engaged. It just doesn’t go with Louis’ character for it to not have been mentioned.
  9. And as I was holding my 3 week old baby while watching the episode all I could think of is how huge that baby was! It looked to be at least a few months old.
  10. Hahaha! All I could think everytime I saw him onscreen was, "Look! It's Congressman Josh Chan!"
  11. I was thinking how cool it was that they had two actors from Mad Men on this episode!
  12. I agree that it seemed to be a very abrupt end to that storyline. I rather liked the character, too.
  13. I've noticed the Knoll has not gotten nearly as much activity in the last couple of seasons as it used to. I just can't figure out if it's because TPTB have simply given up and are just letting what happens happen, or if they've truly become so good at manipulating the show that it's not as obvious as it used to be. Hmmm...
  14. I think that Frank said that Mendoza failed to report some paid speaking engagements as income and was therefore fired from the Senate and unable to run.
