It’s sad that her parents pimp a 10 year old out for public consumption and potential judgment. They use her appearance both on their TV show and social media to get likes and money. They have the ability to not feature her, or have private Instagram if they want to shield her from opinions. She has been made a ‘celebrity’ and celebrities will get scrutinised for everything including appearance. You can hate on her parents for that.

Of course they are to blame , That doesn't mean other adults are blameless in the exploitation by picking on a young child.

I've heard this many, many times on The Bachelor: "Her and I's relationship." Also, I've noticed a LOT of people, younger than I, are saying and even writing "all of the sudden." Kind of scary.

ETA: the phrase "younger than I" is correct, because the full sentence would be "she is younger than I am." However, it could be argued that younger than me is also correct - if "than" takes a direct object, about which I am not sure. My guess is that "younger than me" is correct colloquially, while "younger than I is more strictly Oxford-dictionary grammatical. The idea of "all of the sudden" becoming colloquially correct really bothers me, because wtf is a "sudden"?

Sudden means quickly or unexpectedly. Right?

I think she has a drinking problem, but she certainly isn’t the only one on this show who does! Lu and Leah, as they say in AA, if you “break out in handcuffs” when you drink, then consider that a red flag.

Agree! I was surprised because normally they look better in the THs due to the professional makeup and lighting. Maybe the drinking has finally caught up with her?

Meanwhile, Luann looks great to me. Kind of “refreshed.” Mini facelift perhaps?

I don’t like Dorinda’s hair. It hardens her look to me but I realize I’m in the minority with this opinion.

New woman is trying to do that best friend instead of mother thing with her daughter. She thinks it’s going well but her daughter is 12. Just wait. It will come back to bite her. Her daughter needs a mother and role model, not a best buddy parental figure.

I could’ve done without the masturbation line and some of the other stuff she said which I guess was supposed to shock and titillate us.

The wheels are coming off Dorinda.

Don’t miss Bethenny at all! In fact, I think the show will be better without her. And I too really need this distraction right now.

Dorinda's hair is a major fail. It looks awful.

I actually saw a photo of healthcare workers wearing them.  It appeared to be a legitimate photo.  Can't recall where it was taken.

That was a staged photo. I am an RN and those ladies had all the necessary PPE under the trash bags. It was intended to be misleading. We have PPE.

I also find it funny that people are talking about how they hate Randall but also seem to either not mention or forget that Randall has a case of high anxiety an actual medical issue that he's dealing with. I bet if Kevin had a case of anxiety it would be poor Kevin.

What do you think addiction is? It's self medicating anxiety.

He pledged a black fraternity. The LEAST Randall fraternity of all. That was not at all in character with the Randall we've seen for 17 years. Each black frat has a sort of "type" and Randall is NOT and Omega "type" in any timeline.

He was at Howard University an historically black college

They both seemed very set in their beliefs (conservative vs liberal is my guess). Damien interrupted her explanation by saying he admired her for sending money home, but that wasn't really the point. He's likely content with the current status quo, but she has a personal frame of reference for income inequalities, government corruption, immigration laws, etc.

Some couples are happy rubbing along with opposite political views, but it seems like just another spike in the road for these two.

I think she was talking about the failures of Democratic Socialism and the ruins it has left her Venezuela in.

I was wondering how many of my DMV peeps caught that.  They only showed it briefly, so if you blinked, you missed it.  It's in Arlington, so when Derek said he works in Centreville, he has a hell of a commute!

When Derek and Katie were discussing where to live, and wanted something sort of between Alexandria (where she works) and Centreville (where he works), they came up with Mosaic in Falls Church as an option.  That is very realistic, as it is a super up-and-coming mixed-use residential/commercial "neighborhood".

Except he would be going against traffic.

I agree, why would anyone professional go on this show?

I would like to know the whole scenario about this job offer. Did he really turn it down due to a change in the job description/pay or did they turn him down when they found out he was involved in this show or was it something else? I have some things I'm speculating about but they are purely speculation so I don't want to put them out there. And going by next week's preview, it doesn't look good for Michael. I'd love to know the truth about it.

I don't see how he is qualified to be a Principal of any school.

One of the things I do not like about the idea of Kevin and Madison is that she is too immature for him, from what we've seen of her.  She's a great friend to Kate and seems sincere and sweet, but I think Kevin needs someone less flighty and more mature to balance him out.  I actually liked him with Zoe because she challenged him (in good ways), and I think he needs that.

Another thing I do not like about the idea of Kevin and Madison is the nepotism angle: it seems like the show is forcing this pairing because Dan Fogelman wants his wife to have a bigger role.  That annoys me.  A lot.

I don't think a Kevin and a Zoe would ever last. Kevin wouldn't keep her interest.

But he was hospitalized, however briefly, at least once, after his S1 breakdown. In fact, they mention his psychiatrist approving his road trip with William in the next episode (I'd forgotten this). From EW's recap:

I know that a psychiatrist and a therapist aren't the same thing, but this season's episodes are kind of implying that he's never had or sought treatment at all.

That would be unlikely IRL. He wouldn't need hospitalization for panic attacks. I am an inpatient Psychiatric RN. Hospitalization is for people who are a danger to themselves and or others.

This makes sense, and I agree about the provoking being odd/unprofessional. I just didn't think he should be so shocked and affronted that she knew who he was and had 'googled him'.

Again, asking as someone who has never done therapy, is it believable or even reasonable that a guy who has been hospitalized for an anxiety attacks, even had what might be considered a nervous breakdown, has never seen any kind of therapist? Wouldn't it be mandated at some point during all that?

Unless he was a danger to himself or others, no reason for hospitalization. However if he was, he would most definitely have seen a therapist and had discharge appointments for both therapy and a psychiatrist for medical management.

I think that's his type and if so, I wish he'd just say so.

Isn't that the whole point of the show though - that what attracts you to approach someone at a bar (or wherever) isn't necessarily what makes a solid foundation for a marriage? The experts are supposed to cut through the lure of initial attraction and match on these more foundational characteristics with the belief that attraction grows as a couple "grows in love." I'm not sure if I buy that or not - I have known couples who have very strong relationships despite low initial physical attraction (though I don't know anyone who every found their partner downright unattractive at first and then went on to have a long-lasting relationship).

I did. 31 years of growing love.

Pixie length could work during this awkward growing out stage but come to think of it, I have never known a Mormon woman with anything less than shoulder length hair.  Their hair is usually very healthy and natural color and they really know their way around a single, loose, french braid.

Mariah, with her nose rings, tats and now braless, seems to be acting out in defiance of all of her role models and it would not surprise me at all if her next "woke" statement would be a full-on butch haircut.

Her face is too round for a pixie cut or any short cut. She should just bleach it.

In my view, $100k is nothing in DC. It’s ok for the more distant suburbs but I’d think if she works in a DC hospital she’d be closer to $200k. I used to live there so I have a personal observation on it

No, She doesn't make anywhere near $200,000. Trust me. At most 150.
