  1. One of the most devastating things that my psychiatric clients have told me that their parents have said to them is the , "I wish you were never born" line. The line that Chuck said to Jimmy, "I never really cared all that much for you" (paraphrased), is equal in its profound level of hurt that it brings to the person hearing it. I thought that Chuck was going to accidentally electrocute himself by poking into walls like that or fall off that ladder. He has relapsed hard. It is not surprising though.
  2. What the hell, they always stiff Nicholas Cooleridge (sp?), and we never get to see his runs. I like him. Daniel was great. A lot of the new women are really upping the ante for the women. Still a Jessie Graf fan though.
  3. How the hell did I miss this? And they are teams? Not sure how I feel about that. I will have to watch the episode on demand.
  4. I never disagreed that the foreman should doc hours appropriately if they aren't working, or have to leave early, but those rules are likely discussed in the waiver that they sign. If he is not letting anyone read it, then he can say the rules say whatever he wants and they have literally no recourse because they haven't read it. As a lawyer, that is going to rub Jimmy the wrong way. It is the typical authority over the little guy thing, that Jimmy cannot tolerate right now. This situation is a microcosm of his entire life. He is the little guy who gets shit on who has no recourse, no power. Jimmy, basically figured he would stick it to the guy, because he has reached his limit (hence the cross over to Saul) and not caring what is right or wrong anymore. Of course, I would agree that they should get noted for the time that they work. The situation with Jimmy, is a little different than that, IMO.
  5. The foreman did do something wrong, he did not allow people to read the waiver. He told them to just sign it without reading. Plus, he would dock people arbitrary hours when on the phone or "appear" to not be working. I would imagine that he does all kinds of things to be an asshole to the people working. How did he know that Jimmy wasn't really hurt? I have worked with addicts and people sometimes do try to get over, one has to be firm, but also reasonable. We have rules, but we also have to be aware of our own biases and behaviors towards those people. This guy probably hates those people and does things to be an asshole, and get away with it, because he can. Who are they gonna believe? The people doing community service or the guy in charge. This is very similar to allegations of abuse by "criminals" against cops. No one believes the "criminal", but in cases they are telling the truth.
  6. Straight out of CDB and Rick saying that he would take the farm from Hershal and Alexandria. Geez, come up with original material.
  7. Oh please. Madison has been separated from Travis for entire portions of the ZA and NOW she is upset? OMG, when is this episode over? Haven't we had enough. We don't NEED extended versions of this show producers.
  8. I would think that Troy would notice those types of things, he is usually such an eagle eye.
  9. They knew it was so bad that they stacked the first 2 episodes back-to-back! yeah!
  10. For myself, I never saw it as being a riff on the Clintons either, but I suppose that is because he was president a while ago and her role in more recent admins, was not as a couple. Of course, that doesn't mean that the writers were not inspired by it, I just never personally saw it that way. The only reason I thought that there was some semblance to this administration was some of the key moves or issues were actually moves Frank made as well during this episode, and obviously this was filmed prior to the current events. I suppose though, that some of these "ideas" have been bandied about for a while, so they are not necessarily unique ideas either. Side note: did anyone see Robin Wright on Colbert last week? She looks so much younger in real life than on the show. I personally prefer how she is wearing her hair in real life. Does anyone know if she is wearing a wig on the show? It looks so different in real life and longer, not an asymetrical cut which are a bitch to grow out.
  11. I was referring to Trump and the swirling amount of fear regarding visas, immigrants, and attempts to change and influence people via media manipulation. I have never seen this show as a referendum about Hillary. But the recent season seems prescient in respect to the storylines and what is actually happening.
  12. I feel like I am watching real life on this show. Man, it is like they are predicting what is happening in the current administration right now with all the fear baiting. IMO
  13. That picture of Michaela reminds me of the famous meme of Whatevia from the Survivor Sucks forum. I spent 3 hours reading that whole forum once and looking at all the memes they created around her. Classic. Love Michaela too.
  14. I was a HUGE Twin Peaks fan back on regular TV when it originally aired and have never rewatched since then. It really built up in my memory. I just caught a few of the episodes on rewatch and I have to say that I hated it and frankly cannot comprehend what I saw in it back then. I suppose I liked it (then) because it was different, but the music is just too on the nose and too loud for me and the acting is like watching an 80s era soap opera. I have to say that I likened The Killing to this show (in my memory of Twin Peaks) and in my opinion The Killing was by far better and does the Twin Peaks "thing" better than what I now know is Twin Peaks. I was really surprised at how bad I now think it is (was).
  15. "I can help!" Loved the robot. Sad when he shut off.
  16. In terms of going forward, I am hoping that Eugene is now under suspicion and THAT is what gets him back over to CDB and taking out Negan. While they have been setting up Rick to kill Negan (which is way too on the nose for me), I would like it to be Eugene. He gets crapped on at Alexandria and they expect him to be loyal. Lots of people (especially Rosita) have used him as an emotional dumping ground, berate him, yell at him-a person can only take so much. I would love for the meek to take out the powerful.
  17. Gotcha ya. I guess I didn't pay close enough attention. I wonder why that happened? ;)
