  1. And now it seems we're heading possibly towards some sort of triangle with Duke and Anna, which...what? WHAT?!?! I feel like, to Ron, Lucy is basically Roxy Balsom, brought out now and then for wacky antics and comic relief. But like Ilene Kristen before her, Lynn Herring can do so much more (and has done so much more when she gets the chance - that monologue when she first cheated with Scotty about what she was doing, her heartbreak at the state of her relationship with Serena, etc.) and the whole thing bums me out. If this is all there is for Lucy, it's time to bring back Kevin, reunite them, and, sadly, send them on their way. ETA...And you know what I would kill for? A story for Lucy involving Serena. Have Serena come to town and have mother and daughter really dig into the drama between them (like, I dunno, Lucy going insane for years about vampires).
  2. I legitimately cannot remember the last time Dante spoke to Michael or Morgan.
  3. Maybe her father is Nathan's mysterious father, meaning Nathan "Rex Balsom" West will have THREE sisters. Ugh. He only needs one and her name is Britt Westbourne and they are the adorable WestSibs!
  4. I assume it's tied back to her mysterious father, who I'm sure is somehow tied to Port Charles history because...Ron.
  5. I have a lot of complaints about Ron's writing these days, but to play devil's advocate, I think some are looking back on the Guza years with rose-colored glasses because he wasn't exactly doing the GH legacy characters and families proud, what with his intense focus on the Sonny/Carly/Jason trinity, demolishing Luke and Laura's legacy, killing off Quartermaines left and right, bringing in his own pointless new characters, retconning new favorites into existing families (Dante), etc.
  6. Is Sonny's plan to frame Julian for Franco's murder somehow going to put Julian out of commission? Otherwise, why wouldn't Sam and company go to him for blood, more stems cells, whatever?
  7. First of, I'm sick of Michael Easton. There, I said it. I never thought he was all that and a big of chops on "One Life to Live" and the same holds for me here. I'm tired of countless women fawning over his characters. Also, any story with Silas and Britt would involve again Silas being the clueless "good guy" while Britt schemes or whatever. Boring. I want Britt involved with someone equally rascally.
  8. Ew, no, noooooooooooooooooo to Silas/Britt.
  9. Oh I definitely think Ron thinks Madeline/Magda is the new Helena or even the new Dr. Obrecht, but I don't care if Donna Mills is playing her, the character is a pointless dud, ESPECIALLY with Helena back in the mix.
  10. The show's already gone ahead and forgotten about Nina drugging and setting out to rape Silas before she was interrupted.
  11. We were first introduced to her as Madeline West. But when she and Obrecht were reunited, Liesel revealed that her name had been Magda Westbourne, but she changed it when she came to the US. Donna Mills was rocking some evil eyeliner in that cliffhanger shot. But yes, whatevs to this character.
  12. Spoiler clips for next week. Jake(son) and Liz talk about Lucky, Nik and Spencer talk about (ACK!) SWSNBN. I swear, if this latest Britt/Nik relationship ends in a denouncement of Britt in favor of SWSNBN, my rage might make me burst into flames. http://abc.go.com/shows/general-hospital/news/sneak-peeks/141013-october-13-general-hospital-sneak-peek
  13. I had totally forgotten that Maxie was kicking Nathan out at some point. Did it actually happen? And if so, where has he been staying? In other news...previews...I don't understand why Magda is threatening Dr. O to stay away from Nina. Dr. O doesn't give a shit about Nina.
  14. It was on the recording on AJ's phone that Spinelli unscrambled for her. She's the one who told Sonny that Ava was Connie's killer.
  15. I guess Nina is still obsessed with having Silas' baby, the poor (crazy) dear. And for all her big talk, you know she's going to be quaking in fear when she crosses paths with Magda.
  16. Oh dear sweet Dante, do shut up. Judge Walters may be a douchebag, but he's not the reason for all the "bloodshed" during the Baby Connie/Georgie custody battle. Even if you all (extremely lamely) swept it under the rug, the nastiness of it is still on you and Maxie and especially Lulu. I'm surprised Tracy didn't in fact eat the space cake considering how much Ron likes making the vets look like goobers. Fuckin' Magda, damn it!
  17. The show just kept throwing mobsters that were allegedly worse (the Alcazars, the Zaccharas, Sorel, etc.) against Sonny and Jason so their actions looked more saintly.
  18. jsbt, we'll have to agree to disagree about Britt (not such much the garbage of this slapdash reunion with Nik, but that I still enjoy Britt's relationship with her mother and her brother and her bestie and there's enough going on there that I prefer her over others), but otherwise, really great insights as always. In other news, I don't want to jinx us, but I think this entire week is going to be Kiki-free and that is amaze-balls.
  19. I guess I wouldn't mind another round of Morgan/Ava, but it would sadden me that one of my favorite elements of their first relationship - Carly and Kiki and everyone else's heads exploding and the glorious Sonny hate - has dissipated and can't be recaptured.
  20. She certainly looks better than our "good girl" Sabrina, who seemingly only feels bad about her plan to kill an unborn child because she had the wrong culprit and whose crime I'm sure is going to be swept completely under the rug.
  21. You'd think Johnny's all-seeing, all-knowing goons would have prepared such a presentation by now.
  22. I really liked the weird alliance Robin, Nik, and Britt were forced into when Faison and Obrecht were basically holding them captive at Wyndemere and I was extremely bummed when, once it was over, it was over. Nik and Britt didn't share another scene with Robin, or even gossip about the Patrina wedding getting called off. As someone who was slightly warming to them again, the slapdash, Spencer-focused way Nik and Britt reunited this week was like a big, neon "Don't get invested!" sign.
  23. Oh crap, I forgot we still need to suffer through the Piph/Milo date today. What have we done to deserve this?!?!
  24. Which resulted in the immortal line, "What does it look like I'm doing? Hitting the sheets with your mom."
  25. Spoilers for next week: http://tvsourcemagazine.com/2014/10/general-hospital-spoilers-october-13-2014-edition/ Oh Britt, girl. Those spoilers for her/Nik/Brad sound like such a lazy photocopy from their story earlier in the year. I'm more intrigued by this:
