  1. Explain it to me like I'm Nick...Victor has said in no uncertain terms that McCall-Kirsten will be absorbed by Newman Enterprises, so what difference does it make whether Adam wants Newman Media folded into McCall-Kirsten if it will all end up in the same place anyway?
  2. Wow, Li Does.Not.Suffer.Fools. I love it! Ughh to the Steam flashbacks of those crazy kids running through sprinklers and dancing on the beach and making public spectacles of themselves. Those scenes were annoying the first time we saw them, they're unbearable the eleventy-thousandth time.
  3. Can they please stop with the "daddy" crap? A.) Sheila is like at least ten years older than Deacon, and 2.) it's just gross.
  4. Interesting for B&B viewers to learn that Sally's sister Coco is back in Los Angeles. I wonder if RJ knows. Last we heard, she was at Forrester International. Sally is not this stupid. What is she thinking?? And I thought she told Victor that she wanted to see her commitment to CW through to the end? Victor cracks me up, though, offering Jill another designer even before Sally gives him her answer. EB looks pretty good despite his illness. CBS cut in the last segment for a non-story that totally could have waited until the evening newscast. I can't bring myself to sit through the whole show without being able to FF just to see the last seven minutes. Once upon a time, I would have.
  5. I guess I'm alone in being okay with Chance and Sharon. Having bonded over their connection to Rey, they make more sense to me than Chance and Abby did. And SC has reliable chemistry with just about anyone she's paired with, the exception being Inanimate Object MacAvoy. Does Phyllis know about Nick's relationship with Sally? The *only* possible upside to the Nilly pairing would have been watching Phyllis polymorph into a giant squid upon seeing them together, but I'm not sure she's even aware of it.
  6. Are we really supposed to believe that Summer could use the word "hubris" in a sentence? And doesn't Chelsea resent her even a tiny bit for causing her miscarriage?
  7. Okay, it's been about 30 years more or less, but does anyone know if that judge was David Kimball, probably my most favoritest soap villain ever? Unfortunately, I never knew the actor's name. So basically, Bill and Ridge effed up everything with their master plan of blackmailing Steffy and Finn into refusing to testify in Sheila's original hearing.
  8. Phyllis notwithstanding, I enjoyed the scenes in Society for all of Daniel's reactions to his mother's ridiculousness. I've always liked the dynamic between those two. The bartender's many side-eyes were an added bonus. What I don't understand is why Tucker had to go to so much effort and expense to extort Phyllis into doing something she was going to do anyway.
  9. How amazing would it be if Hope slips Liam's ring on Thomas' finger?
  10. Happy Canada Day to @jewel21 and all of our Canuck friends! 🇨🇦💖🇨🇦
  11. Someone mentioned a few weeks ago about the possibility of something hinky going on with the water. I wonder if there is something to that? Thomas grabbed three bottles when he boarded the plane and asked if anybody wanted one.
  12. ^^Cameron originally went to prison for killing Cassie's (and Mariah's) bio-father Frank and framing Sharon for the murder. Sharon thought she had killed Cameron when she konked him on the head with a champagne bottle after he tried to rape her, so she dragged his body outside and hid it behind a dumpster where it got covered up by a snowstorm. Larry Wharton did Sharon a favor and dumped the body in the sewer, as one does. Then Sharon started seeing Ghost Cameron outside her window and thinking she was going crazy (kind of like when she saw Ghost JT outside her window!). She confided in Nikki, and the two of them went in the sewers to make sure Cameron's body was still there. They found a body, but it was Frank's, and now Sharon was the prime suspect. Cameron told her he would help her escape prosecution if she would run away with him. She agreed, but had a change of heart and was going to kill herself, but hero Nick showed up to save the day. That was the bit they showed the other day when they all jumped out of the airplane.*** At least Cameron does look like he just got out of prison. Jeremy Stark looked like he just got out of Club Med. Victor fired a security guard who was assaulted on the job by a psycho stalker. Stay classy, Victor! ***Please excuse any details I got wrong or things I left out. It's been a while, so that's how I remember it happening.
  13. They couldn't borrow a real cat from a shelter and then do a little adoption PSA for the shelter at the end of the show? Whatever, I have a really bad feeling that the invisible cat will be Cameron's first victim. Animals never fare well on this show. Since Summer is so ungrateful that Daniel saved her dumb ass from being implicated for aiding-and-abetting or acessory-after-the-fact, he should go straight to Chance and do just what you suggest.
  14. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit, but I have to believe that JG put in all of those Phyllis<>dumpster references just for us. If so, I apologize for 5% of the things I've said about you, Josh! Stupor Girl and The Roast Beast in one room maxed out my asshole tolerance quotient for the week. Daniel must have been switched at birth. Now that you've put your toe in the water, you need to dive back in, @peacheslatour! You have been missed. I was just thinking of you recently when the SyFy channel had a Bates Motel marathon on Mother's Day!
  15. ^Post-coma Phyllis crashed Nick's and Sharon's wedding and told Nick about Sharon switching Dummer's paternity test.
  16. Yeah, it's getting super-weird now. Devon has pictures of Neil at his home. Why does he need to stare at the one in the club and toast to it every three days? As for Dru, there would be no Devon *Winters* if it hadn't been for Dru. She was doggedly persistent about adopting Devon when Neil was dead-set against the idea for a good long time before he agreed to it. I felt a little bad for Tucker, who looked disappointed that McCall wasn't anywhere in that list of names. My guesses for Sharon's stalker are Matt Clark (Is he dead? Not that it matters on this show.) Or Cameron Kirsten (also possibly dead, but I believe he's the RL husband of Susan Walters, so there's that). If it is Dylan, please let it be a re-cast and not that reject from Value City Furniture. Jack, the housekeeping at the motel may not be up to par with the Greek Phyllo, but the maids at the motel have twenty rooms to clean versus the one room everyone shared at that miserable hotel. I'm so glad they are back to using the GCAC. I hated everything about that hotel set.
  17. Sooooo..."Finding Princess Luisa" is not the children's version of OmahaSphere? I can't imagine any adult playing a game with that title unless Princess Luisa can be found straddling a stripper pole. It is really hard to believe that Christine, of all people, has doubts that Phyllis is capable of such a thing.
  18. Has Sally ever met Christian? Has she ever even been to Nick's house? The entirety of their relationship seems to have been spent in Sally's hotel rooms. This show cracks me up with the way they handle sales of huge corporations. It's like Tucker just transfered the title of his Honda over to Victor, who handed the keys to Adam. "Okeydoke, I'm CEO now!" Elena gave up a position at Johns Hopkins to be with NastyNuts, which must really sting now. I hope she sticks around. The show needs some genuinely nice normal people. They need to bring back that silver fox Dr. Neville for her. She's earned it!
  19. Yolanda was living with the Winters for a while when she was homeless and kind-of-but-not-really recovering from her addiction. She stole something from Neil for drug money, but he still helped her get clean and even got her a job at Jabot. She came onto him (Dru was still alive at the time), but he turned her down and she moved out of the apartment. When she came back years later as Harmony, she and Neil had an affair that ended his marriage to Sophia. I'm not debating any of the other points, but Harmony and Neil did have a connection. And most of those commercials are from Big Pharma, peddling drugs with a list of side effects that sound worse than whatever ailment they cure!
  20. That must be the only restaurant in Los Angeles, because Jack and Phyllis ate there about a dozen times when Jack first met Allie and discovered not-dead Diane. I'm a little surprised they didn't take advantage of a cross-over opportunity (and an existing set) and eat at Il Giardino, which is now owned by Deacon Sharpe. There's so much to love in NinjaPenguins' amazing recaps, but I think my favorite part is Summer's "asshole" epithet.
  21. For as much of a hot mess the show is now, I actually think it was worse about 10 years ago or so, the first time this writer came onboard and that JFP asshole was at the helm. At least now, there are a few characters and stories keeping my interest.
  22. I'm not sure if this got much press, but the CDC has approved and recommends an additional Covid booster for people over 65 years old and for those with compromised immune systems. I took my parents to get theirs yesterday. I want one, too! But I'm not eligible. I feel stupid for being annoyed that I'm under 65 and that my immune system is ok. 😕
  23. When Jeremy paid off the EMT, he also told him to leave town and assume a new identity. Nice work, if you can get it! It is strange that Kevin has not been around for any of this, if only to support his good friend Daniel. Did Phyllis anonymously text Summer and ask to meet? Is that why Summer was acting so fidgety? I thought it was hilarious that Sharon wanted to have dinner in a place that must hold so many happy memories for her!
  24. Aren't these special milestone episodes supposed to celebrate the show as a whole and revolve around more than one character?
