  1. Sheila kidnapped Lauren's newborn and replaced him with a baby she bought on the black market (who died of meningitis shortly after). She subjected that baby to an unnecessary surgery to remove a birthmark that Lauren remembered seeing when her baby was born. Sheila also came close to smothering Thomas in his crib just to torment Stephanie. She's not exactly above putting a child in harm's way.
  2. "Re-set" must have been on Josh's Word of the Day calendar today. Mamie, Jack, and Tucker each said it. Funny, because the whole show could use one of those right now.
  3. So the chief surgeon is nobody to the Forresters or anybody else in LA (or any of us viewers, either!)? And this all happened years ago? Get over it, Li.
  4. I think you may be on to something... Claire said she grew up in a very strict family, and didn't Ashland say his parents were so tyrannical that he ran away and did that whole identity swap with his dead friend? The 29 year-old woman is the head of IT and Phyllis' direct supervisor, and Daniel is their boss. I'm confused about the Mamie-Tucker connection. You'd think Mamie's loyalty to the Abbotts would supercede everything, so what gives? Did Ashley put her up to this?
  5. Should Victor be exerting himself so hard on the heavy bag this far into his third trimester? We really do need a reminder every four or five days of just how macho Victor and Nick are. Victor is clearly laying a trap, I just can't figure out for whom? At first, I thought it was for Adam, but it's more likely to be for Victoria and Nate. Or all three of them, with a side benefit of luring Nick back to NE. As if having Nick around could ever be described as a benefit. Did Heather steal towels from her room? Why hasn't she crossed paths with Adam yet? They need to reconnect. Was Claire making moony eyes at Nate? Maybe Victoria is the one she's connected to?
  6. Zapato was Victor's first dog, Segundo arrived after Zapato died.
  7. Nick (and Sharon, too, for that matter) should never ever blow Adam shit about anything. They should be kissing his ass for the rest of their natural lives. Adam is an organ donor, so if he has another organ he'd like to donate to Sally (or loan to her every now and then), they just need to shut up and deal with it. Hmmm...I can think of lots of times when Victor's infallible mind malfunctioned and his instincts led him astray. Does Patty Williams ring a bell? Marco Anisselli?? Who could the brown-noser's great aunt be? Leanna? I'm calling it now, there's mercury in that pot of tea.
  8. Li said her sister worked in the hospital gift shop and had an affair with a doctor. Jack isn't a doctor, is he? Didn't Sheila ask him to represent her when she was in jail? Maybe the doctor was Taylor!
  9. They aren't bio-related, and Li has said that her sister was always a disgrace, so I don't think the estrangement was entirely because of the affair. I can't see any other reason why this affair would have impacted both Li and the Forresters.
  10. My mom has called me by my brother's name for as long as I can remember, and he's 13 years older than I am and we're absolutely nothing alike. I'm the cute one 😜. I seriously doubt EB would allow a dementia story for Victor, and they already did one with Dina, so I'm guessing Victor will be running his paper cranes and Japanese flower arranging play again. Doing a search for "Claire Grace" should only get you about 52,000,000 results, Audra.
  11. My best guess is that the doctor Luna's mom had a fling with was Finn. If Li and her sister were estranged, maybe Finn didn't know who she was. That would explain Li's reaction and any relevance to Steffy and the Forresters.
  12. I think my neighbors heard me snort-laugh when I read that! Did Nick even stop in at the garage of his home to drop off a snow globe for Christian before going to his booty call? A few months ago, Mamie told Jill that she had invested wisely and turned her $1 million into $10 million. On one hand, good for you, Mamie! You worked hard in your life and deserve that good fortune. On the other hand, is $10 million enough to buy Victor's stake in CW? Didn't he own the 49% that they were going to offer in the IPO?
  13. David and Sheila were on Y&R at the same time, but I don't remember them running in the same circles.
  14. Everyone keeps asking Eric why he doesn't just collaborate with Ridge on a collection. Why doesn't he tell them that he proposed that idea to Ridge and Ridge promptly shot him down? I think Hope unlocked the door as she was getting dressed, not realizing that she had a little itch left to scratch.
  15. Billy Abbott has pretty much always been an insufferable jerk. But Billy Miller made me overlook it all. His charm was everything. Other Billys have tried to copy it, none have succeeded.
  16. Yes, I had already corrected myself when I remembered that dumb custody story. I tried to black out a lot of Daisy-related stuff. Wasn't Daniel also suspected of murdering her when she went missing? Can't you divorce someone when they disappear from your life? Abandonment or some such? Heather probably could have handled that for Daniel easily. At any rate, if Daisy is anything like her batcrap mother, she'll be back in GC any day now to re-claim her daughter, because we can't have nice things.
  17. With both Phyllis and Sheila as two twisted rotting branches on her family tree, how is Lucy so nice and normal? Is it a case of nurture over nature? Does that math rule work the same way with the psycho granny gene, and two negatives make a positive? Whatever, I like her. I have no problem with her calling Heather "Mom". Unlike Harrison, who had a loving relationship with Tara for his entire young life, Lucy never even knew Daisy and Heather raised her. Jack shouldn't even think about putting all of his eggs in Billy's nostrils. No good will come of it.
  18. ^^^Regarding the Heimlich maneuver, I wondered the same thing. When Ashley was telling Tucker about the choking incident, he mentioned it by name and Ashley said it isn't called that anymore. Who (besides Ashley) knew? Gee, I can't imagine why Jack would have trouble trusting Billy. Abby should have been giving Jack a heads-up about about him instead of Kyle. Ughhh, can Billy go join Chelsea and Connor in Grifterapolis for a good long while?
  19. I really hope we don't get a dementia story with Eric. It was a little alarming when he couldn't remember Hays' name.
  20. Austin and Summer weren't just dating, the genius Summer actually married him after he tried to kill EZBake Aunt Avery. And his affair with Abby wasn't revealed until after he was dead! Why show it when you can talk about it after the fact?
  21. Doesn't Kyle have his own scandal involving an underage girl? I'm not sure that sex was involved in whatever he and Oily Balls Theo did, but he sure tried to keep it all under wraps. I have to admit that Summer-free Kyle is a much more interesting character. All this business stuff is nebulous and boring.
  22. Dang! Does Audra have aspirations to be GC's Joseph Goebbels or Rupert Murdoch or Zuckermusk? Well, no difference, it's three sides of the same coin, but that's effed up as a life goal. So Nick's first stop after his trip was to go directly to Sally's suite, then to the raunch, then to Adam's. Christian will just have to wait to be let out of the garage. That kid's life is starting to look like a VC Andrews novel. When did Sally get so judgemental? Oh, right... Exactly. Every time Victor offers Adam an opportunity, Veruca stomps her feet and demands that Daddy give that toy to her. At a certain point, it becomes Adam's fault for falling for it over and over again. It is worth noting that Adam is the only one of Victor's children who hasn't sued him for half a billion dollars.
  23. Instead of moaning about how Sheila is roaming free, Ridge (and Bill, in absentia) need to own their responsibility for that being the current reality. If they hadn't hatched their boneheaded plan, Steffy and Finn could have given compelling testimony that would have landed Sheila in prison for a good long time. I was surprised that I found Taylor's advice to be pretty sensible today. That conference must have re-activated her World Renowned bona fides. As someone who has never really minded Liam and sometimes even liked him, I'm really despising him right now.
  24. In Finn's defense, he did tell Sheila that she couldn't be a part of their lives after he thanked her on the beach for saving Kelly. Sheila doesn't hear that, of course, but I'm surprised Finn doesn't let Steffy know that he has already put Sheila on notice. I really don't want Liam to "win" here. His history with Hope is even longer than the one he shared with Steffy, and he's dismissing all of it.
  25. Ok, granted I am a little dense, but I can't understand what Ashley and Tucker expect Billy to do. Ashley wants double agent Billy to whisper in Diane's ear to encourage her own worst instincts, which would bring Jabot to the brink. So wouldn't that entail putting on a performance for Tuckley's benefit of being Diane's ally? Instead, he's attacking Diane in front of Tucker? Plus, the incentive that Ashley is dangling over Billy is a lesser position than the co-equal one he currently shares with Jack? My head hurts...
