  1. I know! WTF is all that "Rachel is MY friend, and Natalie is MY friend...." so God forbid anyone else should speak to them. I felt sorry for Heidi at first because Spencer was such a douche (it was my first experience with either of them) but now I'm not sure which one is worse!
  2. I know it won't happen, but I wish Jim would bitch slap Spencer the next time he gets up in his face making threats. I don't know how any of them can tolerate that punk.
  3. Not always....it depends on the state language. For example, in KY, physical assault is assault (circumstances determine degree). I'm a little surprised that there was Domestic Violence involvement.....Corey would not be qualified for that charge here, it would most likely be just an assault charge, probably 4th degree which is the lowest. I guess Ohio has different definitions for domestic violence.
  4. That was the thing....it didn't sound anything like his brand of English to me....it sounded like somebody (not necessarily her...one of the girls? A friend?) trying to imitate an ESL speaker. Yes, please! In this case, since we can't get there by link, can someone provide more info?
  5. I'm not seeing those pictures....are those on his personal FB page? I can pull the page up, but it isn't showing anything new. On the "joint" page, there is now a post telling people not to be mean to his wife or kids.......I don't think anyone is fooled into thinking that Mohamed really posted it. That's so pitiful. I go back and forth between thinking that Danielle cannot possibly have a clue and thinking that she's a complete mastermind of this whole charade.
  6. Thank you.....I had never heard that term before and had no idea what she was trying to convey. I think she's giving him too much credit as well, but I'm not sure he's blocking people....I think he just can't bring himself to portray this as a love match. Otherwise he would've done a better job on the show.
  7. OK.....so can anyone tell me what this means??? His "indirect and high context culture"? Obviously a Mo fan, but what on earth does that reference mean?? LOL!
  8. Although she refused to admit straight out that she wasn't with him. Which is just like throwing gasoline on the Internet rumor fire..... When the show first started I wasn't sure I could watch their story. It was almost painful. But like the train wreck it was, it got hard to look away. A lot of the comments on the Internet are painful too, and I don't think Danielle deserves them, particularly about her physical appearance and her children. But she almost encourages them by the way she engages people. When one poster tried to be kind with her and just express concern, she jumped back as if the woman had called her every name in the book. I can't imagine what it's like to have this level of scrutiny into your life. But people have tried to give her good advise as to how to handle it and she just. won't. listen.
  9. If you've not been able to connect to the Mo and Dani page yet, give it another try. She put a link somewhere in that lengthy thread on Mo's page and this time it showed the thumbnail. I clicked on it and was able to connect for the first time. Those wedding pictures are so sad to me....even she doesn't look truly happy. I've been divorced for a much shorter time than I was married, so maybe I'm still in my "single again honeymoon" phase....LOL!.... but dear God please don't ever let me want another man badly enough to settle for that!
  10. I saw that.....then Dani scolded the poster by pointing out that Mo is married, and told Renae to "get some self respect." Pot, meet Kettle.....
  11. I can't get on the Mo train either. No doubt that Danielle gives staggering new meaning to the term "hot mess" but he doesn't strike me as stupid. It took everyone here about five minutes to see the huge warning signs, and even given that English is not his first language, he should've had some serious questions after a few Skype sessions. Even if he was misled about her financial situation to some degree, he noticed right away that the apartment was "a little small." She lost her job and the cell phones were cut off before the wedding. He had a pretty good idea that this wasn't going to be a gravy train and he still went forward.
  12. EIC stands for Earned Income Credit. When you file your taxes, if you have children, you sometimes may qualify for a tax credit that allows you to get back more money than was taken out in taxes over the year. It's a sliding scale based on your income....as your income goes up, the amount of the credit goes down. I can't remember what the top level is.
  13. You know with those three kids, she's maxing out the EIC, so I'll bet you are right....a big chunk probably came from that.
  14. Cool....your dad makes moonshine?? So did my family - I'm one of the "real" McCoys (NOT like on that reality show! LOL). I am so excited for tonight! Almost more than I was yesterday for the UK-UL game yesterday!! It's bern a great weekend!!
