  1. Turns out that Esquire was off by two days and Season 4 of The Crown will premiere on Nov. 15th. It really makes me wonder if Esquire was correct all along and Netflix thought, "Oh no, you don't," and bumped up the date by two days. Guess we'll never know.
  2. Here's The Crown's official tweet announcing the premiere date. The video clip is the same as in the article @AZChristianlinked above, but this way it'll be a bit more easily accessible in this thread. Exciting news today!
  3. Yes. In January when Imelda Staunton was cast and that tweet was sent, they were still operating under the assumption that they were only doing five seasons. Then, in July, it was announced that they were going back to the originally anticipated six seasons. See this post from the media thread: https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/30868-the-crown-in-the-media/?do=findComment&comment=6221294
  4. Yes, I've been waiting on the Tony Blair casting especially. I love Michael Sheen, but I do think he's just a bit too old now to play a 1990s version of Tony Blair a third time! Time for some new blood in that role.
  5. Cool. I consider Esquire to be a good source. I'm going to mark my calendar for November 17th! Perhaps they really do know something that others don't! Netflix usually likes to tweet out the news themselves. I wonder if the Esquire interviewer picked up the info while working on the piece on Josh O'Connor and it was supposed to be embargoed? Great pick-up @ruby24! I thought it would be great to have all of these in one place.
  6. Josh O'Connor will be playing Charles to Emma Corrin's Diana in the upcoming Season 4. According to IMDb, Corrin is 5'8" to O'Connor's 6'1". We haven't yet heard (at least I don't think we have) who will be playing Prince Charles in Seasons 5 and 6, so we'll have to wait and see what actor plays Charles to Elizabeth Debicki's Diana. Do you recall where you read that? I've been reading through various news stories from 8/15 & 8/16 on Elizabeth Debicki's casting as Diana, from the US, the UK and Australia (Debicki's native land) and every one of them says that no premiere date of season four has yet been announced. 🤷‍♀️ Edited to add: Just to get an idea from another Netflix show, I'm a Lucifer watcher. The new season of Lucifer drops on Netflix, this coming Friday, August 21st and Netflix tweeted out the premiere date on June 21st, exactly two months before. I'm assuming we'll have a premiere date for The Crown sometime in September, if it's dropping in November.
  7. You've got me curious now. Top Chef did a Charleston season four years ago and they filmed an episode at Boone Hall Plantation. I wonder if that episode's been removed too.
  8. It IS Coulson's LMD remote. Confirmed. In the media thread, I posted the video of the final AOS table read. It's at 10.08 in the video. Jeffrey Bell, Exec. Producer/Showrunner: "Inside [the briefcase] is his LMD remote and a pair of car keys."
  9. ,12:39, but do yourself a favor and take the time to watch this. Jeff Ward is very funny. By the end, I was a little teary-eyed, as were Elizabeth Hentstridge and Chloe Bennet. Good stuff.
  10. ❤ First, it's a call back to May's "Thor? He's dreamy" from a much earlier season. Or, perhaps Ming Na Wen is just like me and drools over the sight of Chris Hemsworth in his Thor costume. 😅
  11. From the "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" department: https://people.com/tv/eliza-limehouse-leaving-southern-charm/ Eliza Limehouse is not returning for season 7 of the hit Bravo reality show, PEOPLE can exclusively announce. "It's been a thrill to be part of Southern Charm, but with a wedding to plan on top of my busy work life, it's best for me to focus on what's next," Limehouse tells PEOPLE. "I walk away from my reality TV ride with positive feelings, and no regrets. I'm grateful for the experience, for the friendships I made along the way, and for loyal fans who have been so supportive and kind. I can't wait to marry the love of my life Struthers, spend more time with my horses and start this exciting new chapter." Limehouse first appeared on Southern Charm as a friend of the cast for two seasons before becoming an official cast member during season 6.
  12. I'm probably don't have this exactly right but... Mack: I am still a mechanic at heart.
  13. I thought it was great that they took about 10 minutes with the "One Year Later" epilogue. They took the time to finalize the story arcs of all the major characters. If I have a complaint it was that they didn't kill off Nathaniel quickly enough! 😏 I'm so happy Fitzsimmons got their happily ever after. 💖 Lola!!! That just tied everything up with a giant ribbon for me! 🏎️ I really don't think I could ask much more from a series finale. This may be one of the most satisfying series finales ever, IMO. 👍
  14. Full-scene sneak peek for the series finale, so spoilers.
  15. Only TEN more days until Season 5 drops!
  16. I could swear that Michael's name has been mentioned during at least one of the episodes, but there has been no mention of Michael being Lucifer's twin.
  17. Yes. 😄 There are two episodes remaining, but they will be shown back-to-back on Wednesday.
  18. From the link you shared: In addition to his work in the kitchen, Dale was also a three-time cheftestant on Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning culinary show, “Top Chef.” He competed in Season 4, “All Star” Season 8, “Top Chef Duels”, and became one of the show’s most popular cast members. 😂 In your mind, Dale! The menu looks great though. Dale could cook, but he was a total asshat.
  19. Unsurprisingly, but now official, the Emmys will be virtual this year. https://variety.com/2020/tv/news/emmys-2020-virtual-jimmy-kimmel-1234720151/?fbclid=IwAR1K97WRJTlk4h80S_jMZegykVl0hoNEWixqZHFLTisuJekhmLhw8RLDz6E
