  1. I feel a little guilty that I watched every episode and never noticed this.
  2. I think Wayne Brady was the best overall performer so I’m okay with him winning. He is a good singer, but I think his dancing and rap improv made him more entertaining to the audience. Patti was clearly the best singer, but thos is Masked Singer, not the Grammys.
  3. The actress from 227? That is an odd guess. I guess Flamingo didn’t move around much during that performance, but in others she does, and she has younger person knees.
  4. I cannot believe that the song This Christmas was used on this show and Patti LaBelle did not sing it. First they give Lady Marmalade to a Flamingo and now this. I feel cheated. Also, I couldn’t even pay attention to Fox singing because I was so annoyed he got Patti’s song so it was a bad choice for him. If Ipyou don’t know what I am talking about, watch this: https://youtu.be/z84QdJlPpHE. The highlight of the show for me was Nicole’s face when asked if she would date Dennis Rodmsn. I hope someone with more time on their hands than me finds thst and turns it into a meme.
  5. This was a hard elimination. Everyone did well. I thought Seal was going home since Robin seems to know who he is. I didn’t like T-Pain as a judge. He didn’t add any great music insights and many of his comments were self-promoting. I thought his Mariah Carey comment was mean not funny. I loved Ana giving Ken a hard time about not knowing her. Robin is right about Ken not being able to recognize people he should know like Ana and Margaret Cho.
  6. Wow, this was a dark episode. I feel like Homelander could have saved the passengers by slowing down the plane’s descent and pointing it towards water. But I guess the point was that he really didn’t care about saving people. He was just interested in the publicity so it was better that he didn’t try and fail to save them. This episode did a good job of showing how important intelligence and planning are to successful missions. Homelander and Maeve never thought about a terrorist in the cockpit, and then Homelander never thought about the problems thst might occur using heat vision in a small space with electronics. Too bad Maeve doesn’t have an invisible jet like Wonder Woman.
  7. I love that the London politicians solution to Welsh oppression is “Let’s send Charles to Wales to learn Welsh” instead of the obvious “Let’s allow Wales more self-government.” I don’t know if that is historical, but it felt real. I've been to Wales, and experienced exactly what Charles did reading those signs. Charles can be annoying in his awkwardness, but I do feel sorry for him. Growing up is hard enough without being pulled out of school because the PM has told your Mum you should learn Welsh.
  8. Donnie Wahlberg has played a detective In at least two TV shows (Boomtown and Blue Bloods), multiple Saw movies, and some other movies. However, he is Jenny’s husband so I don’t think he would be eligible for the show. It would be hysterical if he was on the show and she didn’t guess him.
  9. I cannot believe Kristen used a flash on that VERY OLD manuscript. Maybe it’s supposed to be a clue that she is really a demon. What did Sebastián give the barista? Is that group he joined a real thing? I remember a Law & Order SVU episode about a group of nerds that hated women and committed acts of violence against them.
  10. Because Jenny has the memory of a sea urchin. IMHO, Rottweiler didn’t even have the best performance of the night—Fox did. Kelly Osborne was not the best singer, but she was a delight to have on the show. I loved her faking a Southern accent and her obvious distain at the Lindsay Lohan guesses. I’m surprised that Nick was wearing the same suit in this episode that he did in episode 5. It is a very distinctive pattern so it’s hard to forget. Was so much money spent on costumes that there wasn’t enough left for Nick to have a different outfit every episode?
  11. My best guesses are 1) the cards are a reference to Patti being the Queen of Soul since a deck has 4 queens or 2) the cards are a reference to Patti performing in Las Vegas. I’m certain Patti is the Flower, but I am just wildly speculating about the significance of the cards.
  12. I liked the Korean First Lady/K-Pop Star/economics savant. She certainly shocked Henry. He was quoting her to Bess almost like she was his beloved a Thomas Aquinas. Why isn’t the guy who assaulted Mike B in jail being held without bail? He is clearly a danger to society.
  13. Tonight I learned to hit the mute button as soon as I see those kids show up on the screen. Why has Kristen never taught her kids to speak on at a time? The grandmother is beyond awful. After hearing that recording, I wouldn’t let that msn in my house, much less give him a “goodbye kiss.”
  14. Me too. I feel like the producers got rid of Daisy so they could afford to pay Wentworth Miller in a role that could have been adequately played by a cheaper, less famous actor. I like Wentworth, I just don’t see the point of casting a well-known actor in a role that is basically a talking plot device.
  15. The highlight of this episode was Bess’s blue lip. I thought Luke Duke might have been trying to sabotage her with the the Kentucky version of Romulan ale, but he was sincere. The Dimitri story has jumped the shark. No way he would ever be safe Just because of a treaty.
  16. Those 4 girls may be the reason I stop watching this show. The Brady Bunch has 6 kids, and they weren’t nearly as loud when they were all together. I understand Kristen might not be familiar with the latest AR devices and games, but she is not clueless either so I’d expect her to look at those devices more carefully before saying they are okay. So far the religious exploration of the case of the weak has been the weakest part. That boy seemed evil but displayed no other signs of possession. He had no seizures, did not speak other languages, did not have hidden knowledge , and did not show superhuman strength. He was not eager to take the rosary, but had no problem holding it. If I was a kid and a stranger was pushing me to hold a rosary, I would be reluctant too because it’s weird. There was no indication of a supernatural cause, so it seems like the Church would not want to spend money on two consultants fo this case. It would just offer the usual counseling to partitioners in need.
  17. Jessica Pearson (player by Gina Torres) has some amazing outfits, but the other female characters were often dressed inappropriately. Some of Jessica’s outfits were more appropriate for a cocktail party than the office, but she always seemed to pull it off. I had waved that as she dressed differently when she had to go to court. However, I agree that Shiv is wearing actual business clothing and the sort of thing I would wear if I could spend a thousand dollars on an outfit. In addition to the style, they are perfectly tailored and chosen for her body type. Major kudos to the wardrobe department. I hope this is recognized by awards shows. Does anyone else walk into a store and think, “I wonder if they have any Shiv pants?” i spent half the season feeling guilty for loving her clothes because the actress is doing a great job with the character and deserves much credit. I’ve decided I can appreciate both the actress and the clothes without diminishing the talent of anyone involved with the show.
  18. Roman excels at understanding people’s motivations and how to manipulate them emotionally. Sometimes abused children develop these skills as a survival mechanism so it is consistent with his character development. On the other hand, we’ve seen lots of proof that Roman doesn’t understand things most people with his education do, like how rockets work, and he doesn’t listen well when others explain this to him. However, he seems to listen to Gerri because he understands the benefits to himself. I think it’s kind of hilarious that they took a cruise to discuss the cruise ship scandal. I know there are good reasons for this like a lack of cell phone reception and the inability to leave easily, but it’s hr kind of thing late night talk shows would have lots of jokes about if it were found out. Logan is truly evil because he actually believes he did nothing wrong with the cruise ship situation when he told Kendall that. His argument was he was not at fault because he did not participate in harassing and assaulting women while being completely oblivious to the idea that he is at fault because it’s HIS company. He invents his own reality in which he is blameless over and over again. I guess that’s how he lives with himself.
  19. Even though I keep reminding myself that Kendall is a terrible person who didn’t report the car accident and stole batteries from the bodega, I had to cheer for him at the end. If anyone deserves to be the blood sacrifice for the cruise ships, it’s Logan. He kept a guy he knew was a molester in charge of the cruise ships. We saw a spark of humanity in all three younger Roy kids in this episode. It took Shiv a while, but she seemed to finally grasp that she hurt Tom. It’s sad, but I think Roman and Gerri have the healthiest relationship of all the show’s couples. At least they are honest with each other and try to help each other.
  20. Or “Anita Baker singing in the style of Patti LaBelle.” If he says that, we will know Ken is getting a kickback from Anita Baker’s agent. Saying you lost to the Flower (who will turn out to be Patti LaBelle) in a singing competition is nothing to feel bad about because she is amazing. On the other hand, Losing a singing competition to someone like professional gamer Ninja is potentially embarrassing. Dr. Drew should be happy he got to be on the show with her and go back to his talk show.
  21. I rewatched the episode today and realized Fox is actually a much better singer than I thought he was. The problem is the judges are so loud during his performance it’s hard to hear him.
  22. Patti’s weight has fluctuated over the years. After she found out she had diabetes in the 90s, she changed her diet and lost weight. This is a recent picture of her: https://www.boston25news.com/entertainment/photos-oprah-cicely-tyson-gladys-knight-and-more-at-tyler-perry-studios-grand-opening/994175105. I believe she is s similar size and shape to Flower. I am also sure whoever is wearing that Flower costume has Spanx on and should get bonus points for singing in them.
  23. I watched Flower's performance this morning followed by a video of Patti LaBelle singing Over the Rainbow. The Flower is Patti. No doubt. Very few singers have that kind of range. Patti's lower register is distinctive. The clues also match up. Patti is known for her dramatic make-up and and clothing. She sells baked goods at Walmart.
  24. I find myself watching this show and being interested for no good reason. The ideas are good—struggling with sexual orientation, finding new siblings as an adult, getting out of Daddy’s shadow—but the writing is not supporting these ideas well. The three lead actresses are certainly trying their best, and that may be what saves it for me. Roxie talking about her medication with her new dad and standing up for him in court were very believable to me. @Katy M, I agree with you about the prosecutor. If she were a man, I suspect many people would be very critical of her continued pursuit of Edie. It’s pushy to the point of harassment. Of course, I am assuming there are many people watching to be critical. It would be convenient if Edie were not married and her husband were not a great guy, but real life is very messy like this sometimes. It reminds me of Billie Jean King, who was outed while she was married.
  25. I missed Flower and I’m really bummed. If people are guessing Patti LaBelle, she must have been good. I’ll rewach tomorrow. Dr. Drew was a complete surprise. The eagle head made him seem taller so Howard Stern was a good guess. Dr. Drew was not good, but he was less horrible than I would have thought he would be. I did not think the Fox’s voice was as good as a professional singer. He had good stage presence though. I hope we have guest judges later on. Jenny and Ken are terrible guessers and they aren’t funny. They should be forbidden to guess Jamie Fox anymore. Kenan Thompson was great last year. Too bad he is probably too busy to be a permanent judge.
