  1. Tom Schwartz things he can befuddle his way out of this like some kind of American Hugh Grant
  2. Tom Schwartz during the entire episode was just that Tiger King meme of him saying "I will never financially recover from this"
  3. I really liked how they made sure that Janine's sister was visibly awkward when she first appeared because it was all being filmed for a documentary. I liked that they made it clear that she would be more self-conscious at first of them.
  4. I watched a video of Malaysia at Roscoe's and she said that when the girls watched each other, they assumed that Salina and Loosey were going to be the top two and that Malaysia, Mistress and Sasha were going to be in the bottom so they were all shocked that Sasha won the challenge.
  5. I think 1. Loosey's runway sunk her and 2. the show has decided her narrative now and giving her a win is not going to be part of it.
  6. Sasha Colby won the challenge the moment she threw away her index cards. The aggressive Alexis Michelle/Jan Sport edit that Loosey is getting is hilarious. I also found it funny how production made sure that Salina didn't interview Frankie Grande because they are friends in the real world.
  7. I like Luxx but she needs to dial back on all of the Drag Race references.
  8. The fact that Heather's inability to just say that she was blackout drunk launched an investigation that could've jeopardized the careers of innocent people on the Bravo is just beyond obnoxious.
  9. Given how visibly annoyed Andy Cohen was earlier in the season on Watch What Happens when Robyn was like "You'll see what happens when you watch the show" about the wedding and quickly snapped about nothing happening, I feel like the marriage was as much about keeping Robyn on the show as anything else.
  10. The episode was such a careening mess. Getting the "Here's where everybody is at" title card set halfway through the episode before the episode pivoted to this special Jen Shah goes to jail special. I thought it was incredibly wild that one of the central things of the season trailer (Danna screaming at Jen that she needs to be nice so someone would put money on her books) was cut.
  11. A lot of parents view any problems in their kids as a perceived failure on their part, at least subconsciously.
  12. If this season has done anything, it has done a masterful job of taking down Heather Gay as a fan favorite. I liked her the first year but got inklings of things during the season one reunion and season 2 did her no favors. But the entire scene with Whitney was so odd and off-putting because the black eye drama is making her center of attention that she's never gotten to be and she's so sadly smug about it that it is sad.
  13. I think one of the problems is that this season picked up far too close to the filming of last season. If I remember correctly, Meredith didn't even know of the mic stuff until watching the final episodes right before the filming of the reunion and they picked up very shortly thereafter to follow Jen so this is all feeling like an extension of season 2 instead of a new season.
  14. This whole Who Gave Heather a Black Eye drama has no stakes because it won't shift the dynamics at all because all these women already hate each other. The back and forth about whether it was a tirade or a rant would have, on another more entertaining season, be a hilarious Housewives argument but seemed so dumb here.
  15. I do think the Finsta is hilarious in terms of Jen screaming at Angie that she should know what her husband was doing, which is wild given Jen's own circumstances and Coach Shah.
  16. It seems that loving a fraud is consistent across this whole franchise.
  17. I am trying to imagine what this season of RHOBH would've been like with this kind of "This you?" style editing on RHOP lol
  18. Wendy's face looks quite different in her talking heads vs. in the rest of the show? Is that just me?
  19. Dakota Schiffer's transformation during the lip sync is truly what Ru talks about when it says that drag reveals. Like I did not expect that kind of high energy and precision. Like I didn't know the song before so I was wondering why she was keeping her hat on for so long but to take it off exactly at the dyed blond hair line is very smart and someone who can pace their performance. Black Peppa's entrance look really got me because I was truly gagged that it was a face mask when she took it off. Just May must have known she was cannon fodder if they are doing a Spice Girls themed mini challenge on episode one.
  20. There is a camp quality to a lot of the "acting" that happens on this show. Like the dramatics are over the religious lady picking up Bill by herself as if she would not be with an entire reality show film crew with her.
  21. You would think they would have learned their lessons with LVP and Denise Richards but those two left the show so I think they count those as victories.
  22. The judging on the runway is always so weird because this show never seems to know if it wants high fashion editorial fantasy or does it want ready to wear. Often times, real designers have a more ornate runway and then a more down to Earth ready to wear stuff. A lot of Shantall's collection seemed like a more upscale Chico's. Also "person who came in first runner-up position ten years ago on another iteration of this show" just doesn't feel like this big win to me. Do the designers have a hand in choosing music? I know in previous years they did. I thought Coral had the best music choice to start slow and then get into a slightly faster tempo, it gave the runway show some levels.
  23. I thought Chastity's outfit looked like a modest version of Cher's Bob Mackie look with the headdress. Also CFDA didn't really do any favors with those walk arounds with the designers because it was a lot "GO GIRL GIVE US NOTHING" energy from those two as they just used the most banal PR-speak of authenticity and be you and where you came from which is at best incredibly vague advice.
  24. You're right. Also he has a detachment from it because it's not his garment so there aren't a lot of emotions wrapped up in this legendary model wearing the clothes and such.
  25. Shantall is doing very well on this show and I like a lot of her designs, I just wish there was more acknowledgement that this is essentially, for her, an all stars season since she's already competed on a version of the show before and was first runner up. Like obviously the version she was on had different judges and whatnot, but there is something about already knowing a lot of the ins and outs of reality competition before you get there. If you watch the after show with Christian, he chose better photos for all the designers and it was wild how much better each one of his choices were.
