  1. I had a knee replacement in September. Life. Changing. I'm Canadian so there is that but in knee groups I've seen quotes of $10,000 to over $100,000. That is going to take some creative accounting.

  2. This just hit Netflix Canada yesterday. It was interesting to me especially being Canadian. I had no idea there was something this big here. My grandmother lived in Guelph so it was fun to see the area again (though an old lady didn't spend time in the young, hip, Uni kids parts of town.)

    A few thoughts

-How do they pay for this? Is it like high performance dance or hockey? I know there is probably a ton of sponsorship since they are world champions but day to day stuff. "Knoxy"'s mom did say they were paying her rent as a parent would for their college student (even an idiot one who dropped out and didn't tell them)

-that was no prom. Totally a winter formal or Valentine's dance. And on the topic of "Nubs", I was uncomfortable seeing her hang out with the older girls. I know it was all scripted but still.

    - Superficially.... the hair, wow. "Knoxy"'s mole distracts. The twins annoyed the crap out of me. Ali was adorable.

  3. I had a total knee replacement in September and was very interested in Grace's super gross knee. Great make up job on it, I'd faint too. I'm 30 years younger than Grace and she bounced back quicker than I did. (It change my life and I'm quite happy)

  4. I fought using a store scooter but they are so nice. Especially the ones at Costco, Target's suck. (Just fyi) Wish they all had preachers though.

I liked the hardware store guy trying to save face after insulting Grace

Something I wondered about the school Philip and Charles both went to (Andrew, too, correct?):  At the very last scene when Philip was working on the school's gate, there was one kid who was an amputee.  I didn't think schools like that took in special needs students at that time.  And since the school is so physically demanding, what would they have made him do?  They didn't accommodate kids then like they do now.

Andrew and Edward both went and then Anne's two children Peter and Zara (after it admitted girls.)

  6. There was some time line fiddling here. Perfumo blew up in March/April 1963 and the show had Elizabeth and Margaret both pregnant. Edward was born in March 1964 and Sarah in May. (also seen in the Kennedy episode where Elizabeth would have been 4-5 months pregnant with her 4th baby, not Claire Foy flat tummy)

Just looked through my books to find a picture like the end one. No big group shots. Mostly Elizabeth with baby Edward and mini-Andrew.

There was in the past year pictures of QE2 w/her grt-grandchildren, yet Louise & James were also in the photos.  I thought that odd because 1) they're much older than the grt-grandchildren, and 2) they're her grandchildren - not grt-grandchildren.

I think I was an age thing. Louise and James are so much younger than the rest of the grandchildren and really can't be expected to be in the same league. I have a bet that all those children will be in the May wedding.

There was a wonderful picture a few years ago of James happily holding Peters hand. Peter is the most handsome grandson IMO.

I've never heard any rumors re: Andrew's paternity. Did you mean the paternity of his best friends (Jeremy) and Camilla Fry's child? Later DNA testing did prove that Armstrong-Jones was the father of his best friend's child.

Nope, Andrew. I'm not going to give any clicks anywhere but they've always been around.

  9. They did an amazing job on the dress. It's my favourite royal wedding dress so expectations were high.

There have always been rumours about Andrew's paternity. (Didn't we talk about it somewhere here?) Didn't touch on it in the show thank goodness.

It is all speculation, but I do think Harry and William are up there.

The Telegraph says Peter Philips is her favourite. She is fond of the Philips' as I remember reading Zara is one of her favourite grand daughters most likely because Zara and the Queen share a love of horses.

I suppose a debate over favourite is better than the breathless "article" about the Queen being excited to attend the wedding of her youngest grandson. I'm sure she'd be very excited (and surprised) to find herself at James's wedding. He'll be 10 next week.

I LOVED Bettys face when she found out that she was actually a Blossom. She looked so grossed out. And how the Coopers took a break from all their issues to be united in being grossed out by the Blossoms. "That baby is full Blossom" "...what the hell is wrong with you people?!?!"

This is waaaaaaaay beyond what I think even the writers were going for but it makes me feel better with the people going about Polls having twins because of Jason being a twin. In the non-crazy world, the father has nothing to do with twin creation but with Polly being a Blossom then the gene for twinning can get to her through Hal.  I feel better. Is that weird?

Molly Ringwald is the most robotic actor ever.

  12. Are night time baby showers a thing? I see them as more of a Sunday afternoon deal.

Twin geek soapbox time. Polly may very well have boy/girl twins in there like granny predicts but Jason being a twin has nothing to do with that. The mother's body determines  how many eggs are released. Cheryl could have genetically determined twins but not anyone Jason gets pregnant. (your miles may vary but that's the current science.)
