  1. As someone who always chooses Chaos as her favorite player, well, I guess I'm getting what I wanted. I just wish Kyle wasn't the beneficiary. Then again, there is something to seeing two people (M and B) who overlooked suspect behavior finding themselves under fire from the person they covered for. If Taylor leaves, that means I can just enjoy the carnage without caring for anyone left.
  2. LOL at the Jamal mess. Everything I've read reinforces my original impression that he was playing Gizelle and the other woman. Monique opened up a huge can of worms, Jamal clearly has no intention of slinking away quietly.
  3. Those services, particularly Netflix, have algorithms telling them the likelihood of a show attracting new subscribers. That's what they care about. 85% of Netflix's budget is targeted at original programming they own free and clear. I don't see them picking up too many things the networks cancel unless they see a huge upside. One other factor really working against Lucifer is the shift away from genre programming by the major networks. It looks like multi-cams and run-of-the-mill dramas are back in favor.
  4. Even the "dead air" episodes could have been better by just writing the characters naturally and not side-tracking into all of the silly out-of-character stuff.
  5. It actually did really well for them. The final episode got a .6 in the demo and over 2 million viewers. So expect to see more like this. I didn't intend to watch this, but I got sucked into a marathon. Wow, she was a piece of work. I pretty much ignored the trial while it was going on, except to occasionally wonder what was taking so long to convict her. I didn't realize that she had two death penalty juries and just missed out on death by one vote with the second one.
  6. My bad. That Vanity Fair review was an absolute delight to read during my mid-morning break. And I don't necessarily dislike DC, but they deserve to be razed for putting out consistently sub-par efforts. I can't understand how, save for Wonder Woman, they keep missing the mark so badly. Great actors wasted in outright messes.
  7. WB is embargoing reviews until opening day.
  8. Wait, what, Allison Mack? *Googles* Well, I did NOT see that one coming.
  9. Damn that sketch! They spoke its name and now it has emerged once again!!!
  10. Phaedra has been unbearable for a long time. It's good to see her machinations backfire on her so spectacularly. Good Nene was on tonight, and not the Nene persona, so I enjoyed her.
  11. I don't know when it's coming back, but they're scrapping the cast entirely and coming up with a completely different story. http://deadline.com/2017/04/scream-queen-latifah-new-showrunner-season-3-revamp-1202077736/
  12. That moment when she was ki-kiying with Tami's comments about Evelyn's -- er, dating habits was very telling. I think once she's truly done with this show she'll never speak to Evelyn or Tami again.
