  1. Jon Hamm in a Navy uniform. I am so there!!!
  2. Kansas born and bred, so you know who my team is. However, I lived in Colorado for 14 years, so I have Broncos DNA grafted on to me! Virginian now, and there aren’t too many Chiefs fans here. I’m from the old Hank Stram days. We got used to that. Good times!
  3. She was fabulous! She looks healthy and happy.
  4. Watched some of the ads online, and wasn’t impressed much. The ones I’ve seen so far in real time are pretty meh to me.
  5. I watched the recording this morning. I came here first, and I realized I didn’t want to see any of the dances. It seemed like a travesty. I ffw’d to the end, to James’ segment, and the results. It was worse than I imagined. I wept for him and his family for their loss, plus I wept for what happened with the voting. I don’t have any ill feelings towards Ally, and her begging for them to replace her with him was a very heartfelt action on her part. I don’t know how any of this debacle, or similar ones in past seasons, can be justified, by the judges or by the producers. I have not enjoyed this season much, except forJames and Ally. I expected James to win fair and square because he was doing so wonderfully well. I refused to watch Spicer, because of how I feel about him, and because I thought the producers willfully cast him, knowing that he would be controversial. That’s their job, to get those ratings, but this seemed a bit too much. But now, after this, I think I am done. This was always a favorite show, but there was no joy in watching, so I really see no reason to continue this season. I will keep up through this board, and if any of the dances sound like they are worth a watch, I will find them online. This didn’t have to play out the way it did. It seems to be that so many of these shows take that one step too far, just to get eyeballs and ratings. A simple dance show should provide entertainment and enjoyment, at least one would think so. The current season of this one didn’t.
  6. My Cox Cable guide says Rachel is on Thursday. Is that different from what other cable providers are showing? I decided to go back to recording the series so I can be sure to catch her whenever she’s on.
  7. I had to stop watching because she infuriated me so much that I decided she isn’t something I need in my life. I check the listings and if there is some I want to see, I will record so I can FF through her. There are enough petty, belligerent people on my tv. I don’t need her.
  8. setting the DVR for that one! Meghan won’t know what hit her! And I hit double post. Sorry!
  9. I love Kelly, but sweet five-pound Baby Jesus, stop yelling at me!! I agree with other posters that she needs to dial it back about six levels. She definitely loves this, she’s enthusiastic, and getting to hear her sing is a treat, but she’s overwhelming at times.
  10. Jesus. Watching this morning, and Noah Rothman makes me all stabby. He is so smug, so arrogant, so self-righteous - cannot stand him. This whole show was just a total cluster except for Gina and Rushdie. They were bearable. Bill is getting on my last damn nerve.
  11. Oh, God. That mind picture your friend painted about Drogon just destroyed me. 😢
  12. If Lady Mormont was still alive, she might have given Sansa a run for her money. She would certainly keep Sansa on her toes.
  13. I will miss this show despite all this craziness at the end. I will say, though, that I can see why Emilia Clark was so shaken after reading the script, and needed a long walk to compose herself. I’m also not so sure that the clip of Kit being interviewed, and him responding that the end of the show was “disappointing,” was entirely a joke. And Emilia being interviewed at the premier, and tossing off a tongue-in-cheek, “best season evah!” I think they might actually have been disappointed.
  14. Highlight of the episode, cinematically, for me.
  15. I have read that D&D said they are going off the grid for the finale. If they want to go into radio silence, I don’t have much hope that there will be anything salvageable next week. If they can’t seem to show any pride and face their fans, that tells me they know they produced a shit final season.
  16. No wonder she said when she read the final script, she had to go out for a long walk. I can’t imagine how she must have felt seeing her character completely trashed.
  17. I wanted her to die slowly and painfully. She got off way too easy.
  18. Numb. I can’t even put words to what I’m feeling after watching that mess. What. The. Hell.
  19. No wonder D&D have talked about being off the grid during the finale. They maybe should go now.
  20. House Mormont is no more. They died like the badasses they were.
